@vanityrae83 It's a great song to sing as long as you don't over do it. Just be calm and let the notes flow without trying to hard. When going in for the audition just be yourself and think that even if you don't get this amazing role, it's an experience in your career. You can learn from it. It's very scary however extremely rewarding if you get the part. Are you going for the Uk tour?

It's "in with the guards," meaning he was on good terms with the prison guards. Yes, Egypt has more than one god but according to the Bible Joseph was Jewish so only believed in one god. It's why he sings "we have been promised a land of our own," because supposedly God promised Jews land of their own.
