I was bullied a lot in my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I was actually "popular" in my school if you need a word for it. I mean a lot of people knew me and I had/have a lot of friends and am known as a good kid. But this one person bullied me to the point i was very afraid to go to school. It got to the point the police were involved. So just know anyone can be bullied and it is a horrible horrible thing.

@pianopink27 I was bullied by a group of popular girls forty-some years ago. The leader of the gang was being abused at home. Instead of seeking help, she sought control of this group of girls and, through them, she controlled and bullied other teens. I wish I could have gotten together with a school counselor and this girl to find out what the problem was (I didn't know back then). I think of her every day and wonder what her life is like now. Maybe I could have helped....

My daughter started Kindergarten this last year and she got bullied right away. She came home and threw up getting off the bus. She didnt tell us right away. It took a couple of weeks for her to tell me. I could tell she was bothered by something and told her she could tell me anything. She finally did tell me and I was able to take care of it. She is happy now!

I unfortunately was bullied for a good 6 years of my life in elementary school through to middle school. I told teachers and my parents, but no one really listened.. i went through depression, even thought about taking my life cause i didn't think it was worth it. i came home crying everyday even faked being sick so i didn't have to face them. i wont ever forgive them. but things got better for me and i'm glad i didn't take my life and that i'm still here today!

It gets better. I recently told my friends about 3 boys that were being awful and putting me down which after 3 months of it it starts to make up feel inseccure. But my friends confronted the boys and though I was mortified to hear that they told the boys I cried about it. IT GOT BETTER! and they all apologized.

I was bullied as a child for my weight problems, but, like you said, you never know what the other person is dealing with in their lives, so, I tried to tell myself that over & over when I was being bullied & it seemed to help. I always been told to wish other's the best, even if you do not like them. To never use the words "I hate" because thats just like killing them. Its fine to dislike someone, but we should love each other. We should love each other but we don't have to like. I don't know why I got bullied, I didn't do nothing to them, I didn't even know them. I forgive them and I actually am thankful to them. Because they showed me how to love my voice. I could have been born without it so I am thankful for it.
I am stronger for getting bullied for my voice because it gave me this way of thinking. The way I look at it now is, God wouldn't give me something that I could not handle. He wouldn't have gave me a speech impediment if He knew that I couldn't handle it. He wouldn't have let that bullying go on if He knew I couldn't handle and over come it. Now since I am older, my voice sounds like I am from a different country, which I get asked where I am from a lot. And I tell them what it is.
The other time that I got bullied was when I was on the school bus going home. These boys that I did not know started making fun of me for my voice. Well it was hard to stand up for myself because it was my voice they were making fun of so it just made thing worse when I spoke. I told my ma and she said sit up near the front of the bus, and I did the next day and I got food thrown at me. I didn't notice the affect till year later that it had on me. But I am stronger for it.
Back when I was in in elementary school I got bullied. I have had an speech impediment since I was young. There was only one time in school that I got bullied by a teacher. When I was in music class my teacher split the class in half and said I want all the beautiful kids in the front and the rest in the back. That was very hurtful for me but I told my mom about it when I went home. My mom called and talked to the school principal who said, oh yeah she does that. Needless to say, she got fired

I'm in 9th grade and 2 days ago our Principle told our school that a one of our classmates took their life. We don't know why or how, but most think it was because of bullying. I did not know her personally but it was a terribly sad day at school. It makes me so sad that bullying can go this far.

@computerguru999 I had the same thing happen to me. I am 11. And i have some advice. When I get bullied, I do cry. But, I just had to tell myself to get rid of all the bad things and keep all of the good things. Things you can do for your daughter is just sit down and have a talk with her. Every morning when she is heading to school, give her compliments. I usally went to the counsiler's office. I got over that, but sometimes when I get sad, I just remind myself, be strong.

I too was bullied and picked on throughout elementary/middle/high school. I have always been the fat kid (changing that now because of Shay!) and that made me an easy target. but i guess i grew a thick skin pretty early in school, because i remember the comments made to me and the laughing behind my back, yet i remember knowing that it didnt bother me and thinking if you have to lower yourself to make fun of somebody you're pretty lame. I just surrounded myself with good friends.

There's this guy who would bully me all the time, he kicked me pretty hard on my hip while i was sitting down at pe. His threats escalated up to the point where he gave me a death threat. I wasn't his only victim he told my jewish friend to get go 'die in a gas chamber' so i decided to tell the assistant principal, the issue was resolved with keeping me anonymous because of his numerous victims.

I mean a lot of people knew me and I had/have a lot of friends and am known as a good kid. But this one person bullied me to the point i was very afraid to go to school. It got to the point the police were involved. So just know anyone can be bullied and it is a horrible horrible thing.

Instead of seeking help, she sought control of this group of girls and, through them, she controlled and bullied other teens. I wish I could have gotten together with a school counselor and this girl to find out what the problem was (I didn't know back then). I think of her every day and wonder what her life is like now. My daughter started Kindergarten this last year and she got bullied right away. She came home and threw up getting off the bus. She didnt tell us right away. It took a couple of weeks for her to tell me. I could tell she was bothered by something and told her she could tell me anything. She finally did tell me and I was able to take care of it. I'm in 9th grade and 2 days ago our Principle told our school that a one of our classmates took their life. We don't know why or how, but most think it was because of bullying. I did not know her personally but it was a terribly sad day at school. It makes me so sad that bullying can go this far.

my daughter is being bullied and it is really hard, being told by teachers to ignore the bully just gives the bully permission to be meaner. Had our 3rd meeting at the school, about cyber bullying, bully has yet to get reprimanded, besides the girls having to say sorry to each other. Why the victim had to apologize, I don't know. Why were the girls just advise to make up, I don't know. My daughter is scratched up, feeling bad, confused she is 11

@computerguru999 I had the same thing happen to me. I am 11. And i have some advice. When I get bullied, I do cry. But, I just had to tell myself to get rid of all the bad things and keep all of the good things. Things you can do for your daughter is just sit down and have a talk with her. Every morning when she is heading to school, give her compliments. I usally went to the counsiler's office. I got over that, but sometimes when I get sad, I just remind myself, be strong.

Watching this video helped me stand up to my bully. I saw this video and when you said to tell someone, I did. And since then my life has been so much better knowing that I was safe going to school and walking home. You helped me so much and I love you katillete:)

I too was bullied and picked on throughout elementary/middle/high school. I have always been the fat kid (changing that now because of Shay!) and that made me an easy target. but i guess i grew a thick skin pretty early in school, because i remember the comments made to me and the laughing behind my back, yet i remember knowing that it didnt bother me and thinking if you have to lower yourself to make fun of somebody you're pretty lame. I just surrounded myself with good friends.

I used to be bullied when I was 8 pushed and punched to a metal gate once and I had to go home I was in pain so bad I told the teacher she said I need to get used to it because it's part of school load of crap so now am home schooled still gets me sad :(

its not so easy at my school. my principle is a dick and literally HATES me, he only hates me because i got hurt twice doing the same thing. well actually 3 times but either way all he will do is yell at you or be like well if so and so does it again i will talk to them. like really. he literally lets the bully get back at its victim without stopping him or her the first time. its stupid. this one kid wipped another kid with a belt at my school and went to court and hes STILL here @ school....

There's this guy who would bully me all the time, he kicked me pretty hard on my hip while i was sitting down at pe. His threats escalated up to the point where he gave me a death threat. I wasn't his only victim he told my jewish friend to get go 'die in a gas chamber' so i decided to tell the assistant principal, the issue was resolved with keeping me anonymous because of his numerous victims.

This video clearly needs to be seem in schools world wide!! My school is very strong on bullying and can/wants to prevent it at all costs, but it still happens!! If kids could just realize tht in Gods mind everyone is brother and sister no matter wat!! I have a very strong oppion on the subject and i just wish it would stop all together!! But bless this familys heart and i hostly feel like there my second family!! I hope the little shaytards dont have to experience bullying but help stop it!!!

back when i was in 5th grade this boy and his friends bullied me so much i never stood up for myself all i did was ignore me and cried everyday when i went to middle school he was in love with me which is crazy but i never went out with him that time i still couldn't forgive him .. i hate bullies i feel like their like murderers

I remembered in first & second I got bullied by 4 Girls. everyday I got up knowing I was going to get beat up!one day they throw me on the ground,I got up & punch one of them & they ended up ganging up on me.but one day I finely relized ,I cry every day after school ,after they beat me up I got & told the teacher & he did nothing! that's when I thought I'm all by myself! By the end of the school year I had the guts to tell my mom ,dad,sister & we moved that year!but I put up with it for 2 years

my ten yr old daughter is being bullied.its pushing her to not want to goto school and wish she wouldnt wake up.this breaks my heart and makes me so mad!!this is my lil girl and she wishs she wouldnt wake up..the school isnt doing much to stop it.so now i am trying to stop it the legal way hope it works!!!bullying needs to stop its uncalled for and it should be untolerated by everyone!!its not just kids being kids!!

I've been bullied in my entire life :) and I think being happy is the best revenge :) cause past is past and i can't change it.even though it was sooooooo painful.at least im not hurting anyone :).its better to get hurt than to hurt someone :) thank u katilette but i will not watch it :) cuz i don;t want to remember the past :)
