Never heard of and never seen this series back when this first aired until now, but after watching this just now, I think this is actually a pretty good series and I really like it now.
Too bad that Calamity Jane fought the Indians rather than helping them :P But hey, its a romanticized animated series based on a wild west figure, already pushing the boundaries on historical accuracy and kids shows.
I love it. I am so glad i grew up with cartoons like this. Wish it was available to buy! I also love the pinky and the brain coming up at the end. We had some of the last great cartoons in the 90s.
Well, this rotarydialz did say at one point that they had more episodes but they don't seem to be kean on posting them. And LunarisEclipse said they had the whole series, but they seem to have fallen off the face of the Earth.
they really should bring this show back, the main reason why it failed was because it was aired when WB had their own specialty channel, as a result they were under more pressure from the clients, many of which I guess bought the channel for their kids and felt this show was too violent.
seriously, what has it come to that kids in the US can't watch a western!
thankfully I live in Canada, so I was lucky enough to get to see all the episodes on Teletoon.
I know right, lol. Yeah, I wish I could get my hands on the rest of the series. Someone on youtube had posted that they had all of them recorded. It doesn't matter to me how they have them, I could always put them on a DVD, and I'd really like to have them, lol
It's a pity LunarisEclipse seems to have vanished. I tried to contact about this again, but haven't yet gotten word back. They had really gotten my hopes up too...all those months ago. Ah well, at least we have one episode now, thanks to you.
Come to think of it though, there's another guy on youtube named rotarydialz who said he had some (or possibly all) of the episodes on vhs. Maybe you should talk to him, if you're interested.

I always remember where she got hit in face with a spade, most realistic knock out I have seen in a cartoon. She really saw stars.

This is like a Wild West version of Big 0. I like it. I'll put this on my list of shows that didn't got a decent break.

I think the quality of the video isn't too bad and I love the parts where Joe barely passes the train and Calamity Jane going after the last crate.

I remember liking this show a lot when it first aired. Jane had a lot of personality on this show. I too hope one day I get to see all the episodes.
