The guy in the video was simply making a statement about the biological similarities of humans, which he is right about since we are the same species and descend from a common ancestor.

And that is where the concept "We are all the same" came from and that was what guy in the film was talking about. I also agree with your idea that we are unique since there is no such thing as a perfect DNA replication but you still can't deny the fact that everything on earth is related.
