hmmm. interesting. I've been a loyal Honda fan and this Forte has me interested. Looks very similar to the Civic sedan. I like the tone the exhaust offers. You just need to reflash the ECU to remove the Rev / Engine limiter to allow the car to use its full potential power and maybe speed. Very nice set up, that's a lot coming from a Honda fanatic.

first of all why would you put a kia on a dyno test Uh? it's a kia 4 cylinder car whats the horse power on that like 150 to 165 im pretty sure it's a nice realiable gas friendly car but not ment for high performance dont spend any money tuning up a 4 cylinder korean car. Next time dyno test a german bmw m3 or m5 or even a vw passat vr6 twin turbo or maybe even a ford mustan with a roush engine???

yeah, thats a 1.6L from korea, in the states we get the 2.0L or the more powerful 2.4L, you could easily hit over 200hp on the 2.4L with mods and a retune as the factory equipment is very restrictive.

Just intake, header and exhaust will free up some good numbers under the hood. This is an awesome car by kia. Looks like kia finally going in the right direction.

Pretty sure thats the 1.6 liter Gamma engine in that one, because even the stock 2.0 liter sounds much deeper than that.

If you really want to know, I've never had one issue with my Elantra. Which I.E. Hyundai Is the luxury models of Kia, and have never seen an issue with any of them . The older models of course had their hickups but now the new gen's have proven themselfs in quality that stand against Lexus, BMW, and Infinity in quality for 3/4 the price. To me they are great cars that people who have their head so far up their ass can't see.

anything from 2001 and up developed by kia and hyundai is just as reliable as any japanese car, I own a 2001 Turbo charged elantra properly retuned by poweraxel and have had no issues yet. the car is heavily modded but even when it was N/A it was fun to drive, now this new kia looks even better than my elantra that i might just trade it in one day.
