One thing to remember is that, had Lamar Thomas scored and had Miami gotten the extra point, it would have cut Alabama's lead to 10. There was a lot of time left, and had that happened, Miami would have been very much alive. Teague's stripping of Thomas kind of put the icing on the cake. Who agrees?

Dude I see you posting that question on just about every clip of this play. 34 to 14 or 34 to 21, either way the score would still add up to an ass beating for the #1 ranked team. The whole nation, outside Alabama, thought Miami was going to destroy Bama. And look what happened. It is the perfect example of the perceived underdog proving everyone wrong. That's why we love it so much.
