This bad is no Queen, but Jason is definitely a Freddie Mercury. Every time I watch him on stage, I think he's undermanned. Freddie was big and flamboyant and had the drums and guitars to back him up. Jacob doesn't have that. He's got a punk rock band behind him. David Foster, where are you?

oh my god. okay he is sooooo not freddie mercury. i mean yeah maybe the great performer and musician part but freddie was a complete spaz. i don't know how else to explain him. but Hedley and Queen are both amazing bands. the only difference is that Queen is timeless but hedley is probably going to pass fairly quickly without becoming as big.

What does it tell you when the most talented contestant on CI drops out? David Cook, who has talent coming out his ass, went all the way. This guy is as close as you can get to a Canadian equivalent to Cook. It's like somebody cloned Freddie Mercury. And the lyrics put them leaps and bounds ahead of any other rock band currently selling records today. Other bands whine, and these guys do their share, but this son is nostalgic. Do we ever really take a minute to look back.
