My boy has a mustache, and when I first saw him, I thought of Baxter Black. Baxter is almost as funny as Mr. Black :)

We named my gelding Baxter because a little girl who takes lessons at my farm read his poem "Take care of yer friends" to him when he was born, then she gave him a big hug and instantly we decided that he would Baxter Black.

He probably would.  He is completely obsessed with the barrel. He cannot walk by without biting or kicking it, and now he is on restricted play time because he fell on it so much he made himself sore :( He is a twerp!

I can see Baxter going to the NFR. Not as a barrel horse but going after the rodeo clown that is in the barrel :-P
