  • blue and green are the colours of Copper salt. you probably got a Copper (II) and Copper (III) ions there...

  • Very interesting but not suitable for marine fish tanks (don't know about ponds) because copper is toxic so would clean the water and in the process kill everything living in it !.

  • That machine performs electrolysis. Unfortunately Copper is not noble enough so it becomes dissilved in form of ions like hell. And copper ions are toxic to practically every animal. So I woudn't use it on a pond.

    Even if you are not concerned about killig all higher live in that pond, it will have exactly the opposite effect: higher live will die and begin to rott. That means algage will grow like hell because they get nutrients from rotting matter and nothing else lives to eat them.

  • Coloidal copper water...is a great disinfectant..

  • cool-copper sulphate is blue, copper carbonate is green-the different ions in the water joined to the copper to make those colours.
