@Jackalofhighwater Thanks! I actually play in a metalcore band and my guitar does a brilliant job and I've found that it's great for most things - I play a lot of different genres.
But yeah, if you're looking for metal and hard rock then then the Epiphone Firebird Studio is an awesome guitar.
@kareymogg Thanks =) I've being sort of hesitating between another Les Paul (necks seem thick to me) or a Firebird. And I also do a lot of genres but for softer stuff I have a Es-335 Dot, but good to know that the firebird can do loads of genres =), and good on lead?
@Jackalofhighwater Again, yes. I play rythm for my band, but do get the chance to do a few lead riffs from time to time and it never dissapoints! Also, if you're worried about the neck of the Les Paul being too thick, the Firebirds is nice and slim.
