See the reason The Carter III was so amazing because it was being recorded through 2006-08 so Lil Wayne had very mixed emotions abour various subjects, especially the fact that he couldn't discuss matters like Hurricane Katrina on mixtapes or what not so he saved his best work for III. The Carter IV he has nothing much to discuss because nothing emottionally harmed him besides probably going to jail and in that case not really cause that subject was rarely discussed on the album. This was Wayne.
