worst yet. comcast is digitizing and encrypting almost all of there channels so soon you will need a cable box to get anything other than local. I wish I could get a class action together... but I have seen little interest. Guess I will only be recording ota atsc. I refuse to pay comcast $120 a year to do something I could do legally for free now.

You need to watch out with the clear QAM. Comcast in my area (South-Eastern Michigan) only offers about 7 clear QAM channels.
