ite mate erm i should be getting this same 400 gallon pond and i was just woundering how easy/hard it was to setup im a newbie to this pond stuff and im not sure what i need to setup my pond for the first time i know about the filter an pump but does it matter which kind and what else would i need..
my mates got 3 piranhas in a 60lr and there fine most of them dont like big tanks cos i have a big tank and they al hide apart from wen i put my fingers in
Guitar5525 what species of piranha are you thinking of?the common red belly? an adult red belly should have around 75G each and then its something like and extra 15-20G for each additional piranha. However red bellies shouldnt really be kept in less than four and ideally 6 as they are shaolling fish.Hope this helps. Nice set up btw, how many is in there?
Just the heater, or do you have to put an insulated cover on it also? How cold does it get where you are? I'm considering a similar setup, but am concerned about winter. What does the heater cost you in utilities in the winter?

Dead bird, i feed them by hand now they are so tame, i put a net on becuase in the summer a grass snake got demolished.
