I live in Upstate New York and every once in a while, these Hinterland clips would appear on American TV. I wish they would bring these commercials back.

These were great but pc movement says a woman must announce the new ones and it;s not as good as the guy who does these .

I love the sound that loons make...such a beautiful noise....I still here it occasionally when I visit my aunt.

There was a short-lived updated Hinterland Who's Who series a few years ago and I believe there was an updated version of this loon PSA. Anyone know where I can find it?

The original Hinterland Who's Who music is called "Flute Poem" and was composed by John Cacavas.

Lake country bikers S. Dakota and Western Minnesota.

Loons do kick ass - literally. A recent study shows that loons will often fight each other to the death. Google "quirks quarks cbc loons" for the podcast about the study. It will freak you out.
