You can also do this at the door that also Barney needs to open just before this one. When Barney opens the door, very very quickly to the back of the door to get stuck in it. Just stand there and the longer you stand there, the more life you get!

this bug is true i tried this... when i tried it i got a 0 life but still gordon is alive when i got hurt to an enemy my health resets to 250.... i know that if you hold glitch too much longer your health will be longer what you do in the glitch.....

but i have a glitch for you guys too! take a grenade, fuse it and keep it in your hand for like 5 seconds, then (you need timing) throw the grenade on the ground and jump! you will jump like 10 feet!

@Zhouy I've encountered door problems before. If a dead thing gets caught in one, it opens again and makes a weird sound. Or in Azure sheep, some automated doors wouldn't open, so I'd have to noclip around them because no matter what I did they still stayed shut.

it really helps when ur on hard mode but guyz just remember right after the glitch open the consol ( click the button ontop tab if its a lap top and obove esc if its a computer) and type this in sv_cheats 1 then noclip right when u blow up the mines cuz the chances of barney dieing is alot so be ready

Note (maybe unique): if done, Barney gets killed. The screen fades black, but... no postmortem message and I can continue on after 10 seconds or so, it doesn't restart. :)
