  • Thank you soon much for this video because I'm autistic/adhd btw u look pretty on ur special day.... Ur my idol

  • Thank you again, we are hopeful, I quit my job just to have more time to work with him, my husband was in agreement with doing that. He is very shy with family members and other people. but close to me and his mother and father. even my husband can't just grab him to give a kiss, my grandson has to be the one that comes to him. He does find when i take him to stores, just doesn't bother with other kids or people. communion is very hard. but when he gets something out our hearts jump for joy.

  • thank you for your support and help. its just my grandson has trouble with sleep and can't focus and tantrums. teaching is very hard. we know we can't cure autism, just want to give him the best life he can have with autism. Just wish he has your outcome for the future. his happiness is our only wish. autism is new to us.we do alot of reading. and the diet came up. so i just wanted to know if you were on it and if it worked for focus or help with the meltdowns.Thank you again!

  • @tesshannon For sleeping I have special needs. I need a real heavy cover, so more than 1 blanket or something. My matrass has to be soft so I can sink in it. For children it is also important that they have an ending to the day that is constant. No quick quick hurry hurry. And a repetitive structure every night. Eat, wash, brush teeth, put on pyjamas, read a story. Same very night, Besides that autistic children can have irrational fears which keep them awake. Talk every night or try to.

  • @tesshannon Off course if he is tired his tantrums will be worse cause his tolerance decreases with it. You say he is 2,5 so part is just normal behaviour for his age I guess. Besides that, autism can make it extra hard, but we, adults, only have to remain calm (and sometimes that is difficult enough). But strict as well. As long as you keep being correct, fair and clear, he will probably grow into an emotional balanced man.

  • my grandson is two and a half, he has autism. you hear alot about the gluten free & casein free diet, were you ever doing that. and what advise could you offer on what we can do for him. I am so happy that you showed your wedding and family, It is so nice to see. it gives so much hope.

  • @tesshannon Hi, I believe for some children a diet may help, BUT I think it will only help, not cure (not that I would want to). Sometimes people say their autistic child was cured by a diet... Well, I don't believe that. If the child is cured, it wasn't autistic to begin with. I have tried almost every diet, it helps a little, but it never cured me.

What is much better is just LOVE and UNDERSTANDING. Patience, structure, explanation, trustworthy behaviour. That does more good than any diet!

  • @tesshannon Besides that, autistic people have trouble finding food they really like. If you have to follow a diet, this will also give you even more restrictions in food... I don't support that very much.

  • All I Can say is wow.. You and your family are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! So much love! Thanks for sharing :)

  • What a lovely video about people with autism getting married because I've just wondered if its ok to get to married but this video helps alot

  • A very beautiful lady with a different talent to be born with , the talent thats invisible and unique if given a Ear and chance . Shes an inspiration to all those people who live with challenges in their life . "Never say Never" . Shine on :)

  • I'm still single.... :( I have no luck finding a perfect woman......

  • Thankyou for sharing this.

  • Hi5! YES! ;-)

  • Yes they can. It is harder, but not impossible. June 13, 2011 will be our 24th wedding anniversary. I am autistic, didn't always know it. I knew I was different, but didn't know what the heck it was.

  • @BloodyPooProductions You shouldn't make judgement based on someone else's diffability (note how I said diffability instead of disability). I understand freedom of speech, but if you can't back up your reason why anybody wants someone with Aspergers, what's the point in saying it?

  • @BloodyPooProductions i think you,ll find that a lot of people love and adore people with Asperger's and understand what honest hard working people we are.I know because i have AS myself and a lot of people want me and many other aspies for that matter. now do us all a favor and GET THE HELL!! OF YOUTUBE you heartless idiot

  • @william52905 whatever, I'm right in the end

  • @BloodyPooProductions i don,t think so, if your so right about nobody wanting an aspie then for what reason do people full in love with aspies and get married?

  • The question for me is not whetehr we "can", but rather if we SHOULD, and for me the answer must be a resounding YES.

If we achieve sustainable numbers we will be able to refimentalize and expell hostile, enemy tendencies from outside.

  • Thanks for sharing your story! You are a beautiful bride, and your husband has a wonderful smile. This video gives me hope.

  • I guess this only applies to women.

  • @pitviper71 :)

No I think not, though for women it is a little bit easier, I think, because they are trained better as a child in social skills and being nice... But I know a lot of autitstic men who are married and have children. I have to admit they are usually a bit older when they get married (about 40) but their wives are definately nice and pretty.

  • @ArinkaLinders I very much agree, not just for women. I am the male, and the autie. Sharon and I married at 32, 24 years later we are still very happily married and very much in love.

  • @ArinkaLinders it's easier for women because having autism, asperger syndrome, any form of being socially-inept, hurts males way more than females since we males have to be the ones to make the first move and start conversations, flirting, initiate everything

  • @megamanamillion

You should be the one that need to go to concentration camps.

  • @megamanamillion

    that's totally ignorant

  • @megamanamillion: Wanna try that? Just remember - "Mess with the best, die like the rest".

I think we can put up a decent fight...

  • @megamanamillion YOU SHOULD BE SENTENCED TO DEATH AND YOU,LL GO TO HELL FOR POSTING THAT COMMENT (MONSTER)
