As you can see from my video response above. I was close to the box where CH watched from. It was lovely to hear the Techs play so well and was even more so to watch the obvious joy from CH watching (and definitely not singing!)

The fact that a) the techs are capable of making a pretty good stab at the song (including harmonies!) and that b) the band cared enough about them to let them get up and do it at their big xmas show pretty much sums up Crowded House. Also, the idea of the caravan with a light left on for Paul Hester was lovely. What an absolute joy it is to have them back :)

Wow the memories!! Neil & Co squeezed past me (the aisle behind) on their way back to the stage. Couldn't resist pat on the back even though I know its v. teenage!
