  • i would love to have a ticket to lucerne playing mahler 3.

  • i love mahler 3 because of the trombone solo... and the little trio part too

  • Nowadays Abbado is a mature musician. A balanced, knowledeable, passionate and controlled conductor. At the top, with the very greatest Mahler interpreters: Walter, Mitropoulos and Bernstein, among others.

  • Abbado is a superb Mahler conductor, ans was so from the very beginning. When he conducted the 6th in Vienna for the first time, I remember the complimentary comment on the performance made to us by my teacher Erwin Ratz (President of the Gustav Mahler Society, and editor of Mahler´s Symphonies. Himself a pupil and friend of Schönberg) who said: "Er (Abbado) ist ein Vollblutmusiker!". He is a full-blooded musician.

  • CHILLS. CHILLS.

  • perfect...

  • What is the name of the conductor? Thank you in advance

  • @zoublonoir Claudio Abbado :)

  • LYSO is waaaaaaaaaay better than these guy, the trombone solo was too harsh and blatty

  • @jassdaraw HOW can you say something like this....you must be kidding. NOBODY is better than lucerne festival orc... maybe you can say someone is the same good, but NOT better. The trombone solo is everytime free interpretation, and it's YOUR opinion if you don't like it, that says not that the whole orchestra is bad
