It has now emerged that Government Ministers had known for months that banker Sir Fred Goodwin was to receive a 690,000 / year pension funded by the taxpayer bailout of the RBS Group

My husband works for a multi national company. He gets a Performance Related Bonus which, for 2008 was supposed to be £1000- THIS IS PART OF HIS CONTRACT and not too much to add on to a salary of £23,000 after 30 years at the company. However, he has now been told that he will be paid (retrospecitvely) only 70% of this money due to 'cutbacks'. So, there you go, Bonus Contracts can and ARE being broken. Mind you, I expect the top bankers have 1st class lawyers.......
