Yet again the Hollywood way to something "Spanish" They just needed a group of Mariachis to complete the set.

They want something Spanish so they hire that Dovolani (sounds Italian to me) Cheryl Burke (British) and the Gypsy Kings who are actually French, and don´t really play real Spanish music but a mixture of all things commercial.

PEOPLE, if you want Spanish dance HIRE SPANISH ARTISTS WHO PLAY SPANISH MUSIC AND RECORD IT IN SPAIN.

@belledejour72 The Gypsy Kings may not be Spanish, although they are descendants of Spanish people, but they played a rumba version of "Hay un amigo en mi" which actually IT IS Spanish music, and Dovolani and Cheryl Burke danced a perfect rumba. Maybe you expected them to dance pure sevillanas or flamenco, but as you may know there are a lot variances of one type of music as it's Rumba to Flameco.

And for the first time when introducing something related with Spain in a movie, they had done it perfectly; totally flamenco stereotypical, but absolutelly from Spain - nothing of Mariachis, maracas, or latin american accent like we are tired of seeing on other movies. It can be seen clearly that Pixar has taken the time to look a real Spanish culture. Es el típico topicazo español, pero al menos, esta vez es realmente español y no de otro lado.

hello, I'm Spanish and I will try to explain how talks buzz in Spain ..

at first he seaks in a perfect Spanish or Castilian (the same thing ... only a political technicality ). .... When he is reset,he speaks with the accent of the Andalusian dialect (southern Spain).

This accent gives rise(origin) to flamenco, and probably ... the accent in latin south american countries..

that is, those countries speak the bizarre dialect of a beautiful dialect.. mine

@yishkabob Well, over here, in Mexico, they didn't do anything, they left the spanish dialog. The funny thing was that Buzz kept talking in this awesome Spain accent and Woody tried to imitate the same accent while talking to him. I found it hilarious.

@yishkabob I don't know how they did in Spain, but in Latin America, we pronounce things different and have a complete different accent, so what they did was to have 2 versions of spanish dubbed Buzz, the not-demo with latin accent like the other 2 movies, and the Demo-Buzz with an "Spanish (from Spain, not Latin) accent, it was pretty funny :P
