its called Pyroclastic ligtning. It is caused by the intense friction caused by erupting ash as a volcano explodes. It is a similar idea to shuffling your feet on the carpet and touching an object; only on a MUCH larger scale.
those spheres seem to be showing up all over the place, as for the plasma bolt awesome hey, i saw a video of the japanese volcano erupting the plasma bolt on it was huge
What's even more telling is that volcanos going off like that in Japan will eventually collapse the island into the sea, and be BIG TROUBLE for the pacific! Not good at all!
to those concerned about youtube ive been replied to 3 times here but only 1 message made it to me. not sure if its important but curious all the same
@1TrExXaNaToR - ???? If you are referring to the electric lightning flashes that is not what I was referring to, I was referring to the fact that some of those white hot particles seem to not cool down with the other ones which got me to thinking if there was a possibility of TEPCO dumping waste in this volcano, there is something going on down at the base there are videos showing many trucks going in and out, I was watching them yesterday wondering what they were doing...
@BeePeeOilDisaster yes, this isn't some typical volcanic activity here. If you go here volcanosakurajima.web.fc2(dot)com/, you can review a vast history of footage in 4hr intervals sped up to 8min segments (about 30x speed). This is probably the most intense footage that I've seen on Youtube from June 15th 8pm-12am. /watch?v=C38wRx2OcVo
Something doesn't seem right here. I've seen numerous footages after midnight where the entire area is so bright, it almost looks like day.
There was a lot of lightning in the recent Chile and Japan eruptions. Scientists are not sure what causes it, but I know. It is the super heated gases and solids, coming into contact with cooler air, and being rapidly cooled. The energy keeping the hot matter hot, is expelled so quickly, it is released as electricity. Heat is electricity.
@DrOrphious79 - There is something sitting there on the edge prior to the eruption, it could just be a debris berm but it looked out of place and then that bolt looks different than ones I have seen in previous eruptions so it made me think that just maybe something going on out of the ordinary...
@DrOrphious79 - I have another angle showing that area I pointed out turning a complete white and standing out strikingly from the other areas, I will upload it...
