  • Beautiful fish! How do you do the potted aquarium fish?

  • @zimzooble5 I would recomend one or two small goldfish in a 12 litre I have a 20 litre and I have two small orandas and one small fantail that haven't grown yet and that is about the max for my tank and once they have grown I am going to move them into a huge community tank and make the 20 litre a Betta tank but I would ask a pet shop for your tanks maximum amount of fish because I could be wrong :)

  • I am in love!! Thanks for sharing this calming & very beautiful video....

  • what kinda of pants are those

  • is i have a 12 litre or 3.4 gallon tank could i have like 3 gold fish in it or at least 2 like big ones like you

  • So cute your fish. My Orangey was also into all the small openings. She somehow got into the coconut under which I used to hide the pellets for my catfish and then she couldn´t get out again :-)

  • i LOVE THESE FISHIES TT^TT

  • woa your other goldfish looks like it has some ammonia burns

  • I love your tank and the Orandas. They look so happy! Oh, and what gallon is that?

  • @VERGo102 30-35 gallon - I forget. sorry

  • my fish got stuck in a fake castel.

  • You have gorgeous babies there. Thanks for sharing.

  • @pandarsson Does the black always disappear with age? My orange oranda was also black for quite a long time then at some point the change came. But I thought calico stays calico...

  • @yomogiwitch It's said to depend on many things: what you feed them, their tank conditions, how much light they get, and the quality of their breeding. I'd say it's a combination of all of those. At the same time, the only goldfish I know of that will *always* keep its black color is the black moor, however, even those can turn bronze on their bellies. I know some who bought black orandas and wound up with pandas. Calicoes will usually keep some black, though, but still not always.

  • @pandarsson :-) Thanx for the answer, I clicked on your post by mistake, (wantedto click @pabanch) but thank you anyway. I have seen pics of adult black (Blue) orandas, but never in RL. Orandas are really hard to come by here. I ordered mine online and even then the selection was not very big.

  • @yomogiwitch I figured you'd responded to the right one. No problem.

If you're willing to spend the money (and if you can keep them well, it's worth it), there are breeders you can order from on the Internet. We're talking about a few hundred dollars for a single fish, though. Although I've seen some good ones for auction at some website, though I can't recall which one it was, where you could easily get one for under $100. They do have some beauties for sale.

  • that's not calico oranda. that is red and white oranda. if that oranda which your saying calico is still alive then all black color should have disappear by now.

  • Pretty calico oranda. Beautiful markings

  • Your Calico oranda, Bubbles, is gorgeous! Awesome markings!!

  • Thanks, I thought so too - it's like he has black eyebrows and mustach (sp) - even the tips of his fins - perfect outline of the black.

  • i like bobo

  • Me too - his fat squishy face is so animated.

  • nice fishes and tank tooo , those plants on the bowls are natural ?

  • Thanks for the compliment - yep they are 'live plants'. I've since taken them out of the clay pots and put river rock on the bottom. I really liked the 'bare bottom' look, but thought I'd try the river rock.

  • tell me how did you put those plant into the clay pots , or you buy it as look in the video

  • I stuck the plants in the pots and put small rocks and sinkers around them to keep them down.

  • when are you going to post a nother video on your fishes all of them in one clip

  • love your tank!! is it ok not to have rocks at the bottom oof the tank? dosnt it get too dirty? I might do that it looks awesome!

  • Yes you can opt for a 'bare bottom' LOL. If you have the right filters, plus I have an albino cat - the little white guy swimming around - that gets anything the orandas don't get.

    Thanks for the comp

  • I think my filter isn't good, it's at the top of the tank...is that ok? Btw how big is your tank? mine 10 or 15 gallons I dont know, it's 55 litres...

  • You really need what they call a BIO Filter - one with a bio wheel.- mine hangs off the top of the tank.

But then I have to in'tank filters - just because i had them left over from the turtles - now outside in the pond.

  • oh ok thanks!

  • aw bless how is bobo now has he still got that mark and he is so sute so is bubble how is your black oranda

  • Hey, bobo does still have his 'battle scar' from the log. It's not as noticeable - but still something he can 'brag' about. lol. So far, Bobo, & Bubbles are doing great. Bo, the black one is in a tank of his own - kinda of leary about putting him in the 29 gallon tank with the others. Don't know if it would be too much. What do you think? 3 Orandas in a 29 gallon? I have 2 Bio Wheel filters in it -

  • hm ye true say hmm i had 5 orandas in an 90 gallon just 3 and they survied so long

  • I guess Bobo wants a bigger log now. :-)

  • very nice i love your fish where did you get your orandas and what about the little white fishy

  • Hey thanks, just got them at a pet store. The little white fishy is an albino catfish to eat up anything that the Orandas leave behind - yeah, right - LOL

  • i have a white goldfish named swimmy i'll post a video of him so you can see him although his tank is nothing compared to yours

  • Nice video, Bobo is cool :)

  • Thanks - I finally got the water cleared up. It was cloudy for soooo long.
