  • A little toe tap? wtf

  • lol i love the start of it.

    THEY'RE GREEN

    THEY'RE WHITE

    THEY'RE FUCKING DYNAMITE

  • Can someone explain to me the rules ?

  • Donaghy at 9:47 .......takes the wee hit..........then throws him on the and tells him to stayPost

  • I hope it is a clean series this year. Has potential if both countries embrace it properly, and the australians don't insist on bring their biggest guys purely to turn it into a scrap. Malthouse seems to know what to do. Donaghy and Coulter will be missed though

  • I dont think i've ever met a person, who had anything good to say about Aussie's?

  • Great game - This can actually be an exciting sport to watch when theres no violence in it. Heres to 2 great sports combining to make another great game

  • suck dick aussi wankers :)

    nation of tanned retards

  • @jordan5772 : hah hah hah hah, good one!

They are a nation of fuckin knobs...

They think their Yanks or somethin ??

  • @HitchHikersBlues most aussies hate yanks, much the way you hate aussies

  • @SalvadorePapadello : I wouldn't go as far as to say that i hate them ?

their just not, very down to earth people...

  • @HitchHikersBlues have you ever been to australia?

  • @SalvadorePapadello : No i havent.

But i know people who have, and i have an uncle who lives there.

I'd much prefer New York over Sydney anyday.

  • @HitchHikersBlues so u believe that australians arent 'down to earth people' because people you know have told you so? thats rich.

  • @jordan5772 because saying things like that makes you look so intelligent

  • @jordan5772 diddly diddly potatoes

  • We Got To Play A Lot Harder Next Time Around. No More Compromise. Go Hard or Go Home

  • are rte showing it this october or is there too much violence to show?

  • I'd say the aussies would love to have cavanagh in the AFL.

  • @nalhguoc94 He was offered a contract when he was 22 but didn't take it. Im not surprised either - he was right of the start of his career (as in his job) at home and it would've jeopardised that for something that's a risk at best.

Same story with Dermot Earley a few years ago.

  • Hi! How can I buy DVD with fulls match?

  • Crowley went down soccer style. Typical Kerry!

  • the aussie goalie is fucking terrible

  • @wrxjohnny The aussies dont have a keeper in their game. I always thought they'd be better off getting a soccer goalie...

  • @wrxjohnny 'cos the aussie goalie has no idea what he's doing. they don't have a typical "goalie" position in Aussie Rules.

  • Interesting i heard that the GAA are atleast considering giving N.ireland a representative team.

Interesting how much things have moved on.

  • 4 da international rules??

  • yea.. my friend heard it being discussed by his games teacher at tech..

  • that would completely go against evrything the GAA and its members stand for. i dont think the players of the 6 counties wud do it

  • But the GAA wouldnt enforce their manopoly on the North, bigoted players i imagine wouldnt play but the fringe players from the 6 counties i imagine would probably play in the team...

dont really care much tbh i was just looking this up out of interest.

  • problem with a united team is that loyalists are too bigoted to allow it. It was discussed about having a game in Clones as the 1st test in the next home series, but there were security fears over the UVF using it as a chance to attack nationalist ideals and cause hastlem thats why the NI team was dreamed up, but that goes against the GAA ethos

  • emm have u got proof of that?

    the UVF has decommissioned

  • @ConCon75 Not sure what you were replying to but...decommissioned? Bobby Moffet would disagree.

If he wasn't so dead, i mean.

  • @ZZKe7 Is that supposed to wind me up? get a life. I dont give a shit, that wasnt a paramilitary hit it was some loyalist pshyco with a gun.

  • @ConCon75 I don't care if it winds yu up or not - it's just strange that they've decommissioned yet are still shooting people.

  • Its much easier to learn how to play with a round ball than the oval one eg the bounce is much more predictable. The Irish struggle with the tackle as much as the Aussies struggle with the ball so I think they have the balance correct

  • It just depends on the one that you grew up playing with. Striking the ball over the bar is the most important and difficult ask which ever ball you play with.

It should be alternate series or alternate game with the respective balls because the advantage is too great.

  • why was teh aussie fans booin us every time we scored. we wouldnt do that if it was in ireland and australia scored

  • The fitness is not the biggest gap cause our players are closer to semi professional and proven by the fact we can beat them and holdour own.

  • Well I've heard that there may be a south african team coming in so that would be 4 games in a series. It all depends on how the domestic seasons have been and how far the big teams go. If they go far then the players are too tired for this

  • It's a novelty and it's difficult to maintain it year in year out. The fighting was a big draw for the crowds and there was nothing last year. I heard it's cancelled for this year?

  • Yeh the aussies cant afford to travel up. So it's called off til next year when it will be a tri series with SA joining. Or so the gaa hope. They have a written promise from the AFL that they will travel next year. If there can be clear boundries laid down they that game could be more physical

  • SA? They play a game that's similar? After 06 they made suspensions carry over into the respective leagues and that's why none of those scumbags played the next year. What they done has nothing to do with being physcial but being a scumbag

  • Aussie Rules is big in SA apperantly and so they'l field a team. Was news to be too. The AFL players see the Irish as a bunch of small skinny part time sunburnt lillywhite/livered nancy boys and so they try and atain physical dominance as that is a large p;art of their own code(it was invented by convicts after all). Last year Ireland sent a properly trained skilled and more physical team that in past years and so the aussies were a bit more standoffish

  • Its really good watching this, i hate Irish rules but watching this is good at an international type level, but being N.Irish i find it hard to support Eire.

oh well smash the convicts next time!

  • It's actually a derivative of Gaelic football and Rugby. Gaelic football used to be played with 20players a side and then developed differently, it was also more physical in the past. Being an amateur sport led to the physical aspect being taken out, these guys have to get up for work in the morning. As for wht they think of them...not sure you're on the money, my cousin played on that team, said they had the heigth of respect from the AFL players. Good guys all 'round I gathered

  • Wat!?? Is South Africa really going to be part of this series!! That is madness... no one in South Africa would know they had a team representing their country!!! I find it difficult to believe that South Africa could possibly field a team in this series!

  • I cant see an NI team getting past the GAA exec tbh..would be a nice idea but i cant really see them letting that happen lol! And yeh..i heard that AR is big enough in SA...i hear that the idea of a SA team was being knocked around..

  • Except for Ciaran McGenney beat the shit out of every Australian.

  • Yeh well if the gaa put out a team of players from the high profile counties they would hammer the aussies every year. Plus if you stuck a few tyrone and dublin players in they'd get involved in the rough and tumble. Both countries have to agree on a solid format if the series is to continue and agree to put out half decent teams from their respective leagues

  • Yeah but that's going to be impossible because it's only 2 games per year and lots of players from both sides respectively don't bother. The issue of the ball is decesive as when you talk about skills a lot of those are to do with the ball catching, striking and passing. It needs to be every second game or series or a compromise ball!! They were scumbags in 06 kicking on the ground shoulder and knee's to the face but our players did't jump in for one another. All high profile players as well

  • ireland skills are far better than australia's. Thats why the aussies resorted to thugary in previous years. Nice to see them taking their rightful beating fairly

  • It needed a bit of passion and fire and this was flat

  • Passion is one thing but mindless thuggary is another. I lived in OZ for a while and I know that in the AFL they dont act like thugs, so why they do it in the international rules is beyond me. In a fair game Ireland will always win

  • It's because of suspensions are severe for that kind of stuff. Yeah it was too much in 06 and they were scumbags but this is tame there's barely a hit in the entire game.

  • Well the lack of hits in the game was largely down to the fact that the format for gaelic football is to move the ball quick from player to player and so the ball was gone bfore an aussie could put a tackle in. AFL is slower with the catching and marking and so they struggled to close the irish players down when the moved the ball. The aussie fitness became irrelevant then in the last 15mins because they were knackered from chasing the irish players around the place.

  • Not all Gealic Football is played in that manner . Irish players get caught in possesion because of the tackle. Australia struggle with coverting chances plus this Australian team had next to no experienc and didn't look intrested.

  • Well the players are picked because they can move the ball. Ireland have improved on the tackle area and now move the ball a lot more so as to avoid getting caught. I think it would be fairer to play a half with each ball too. The irish players are all round more skillful than the aussies. In the past the aussies used thuggary to combat the irish skill but can no longer do that. Many of the irish players are from the lower county teams too. Ireland could pick a more physical team but just dont

  • This series was rubbish. The Australian team was almost completely new and did'nt look intrested. The ball is a hugh advantage in our favour plus the gaa is closer to semi-professional than amateur for the high profile county teams. Well in 06 we had no team spirit Chris Johston close lines a player, 5 Australians attack Ciaran McDonald and no Irish players jump in. They were scumbags but we had no team spirit

  • GO INTERNATIONAL RULES!!!!!

  • when was this ?

  • october

  • great game up tha mighty irish!!!!

  • do u have a highlights video 4 the aussies in the second test?

  • no coz the Irish won and that's all that matters!

  • yeah i'll be putting it together when i get some free time. i've got a lot of studying to do at this time of year.

  • @elchubenibre have u done it yet

  • Donaghy wasn't taking any crap at 4:20. Great goals by himself and Coulter.
