It's only boring if the DM makes it boring. As long as the DM can keep it interesting and your having fun it's supost to be fun.

Think of it like this, "The two orcs see you and charge." Kinda sounds monotone huh?

Now if you say "The two orc grunts spot you hiding behind the tree. They shout in a brutal language you don't understand and ready their spears. With crazed eyes they charge you as their shouts become louder with viger! What do you do?!?!"

Blaklite, I am overwhelmed by your maturity and your ability to play single player games... or if we factor in Fable II, the ability to play with one person at a time that you either met over the internet or already knew! Certainly beats the social interaction of the average D&D player, who plays in groups of up to around eight people, which often contain some people that they've never met before, and gets together on a regular basis with these people to talk, laugh, and have fun!
