  • Where is this located in Hillsboro?

  • @JJKK12334 - At Hillsboro Stadium in Hillsboro, OR. We've been there the last 3 years. DCI won't let corps come up to Seattle for the Cascades home show, so the Cascades moved the show to OR.

  • wow! nice uniforms!

  • Honestly, why do people care about the scoring? Really? You like what you like. I've loved Boston evee since i've heard them, they've never won or anything but i've liked them so i don't really see how score matters so much to the fans...I love heaing corps. play, no matter what coprs. or where they place. As a young drummer i look up to all of them not just the ones that win. I would be happy to march the last place corps. if i could lol

  • well said buddy. i marched in a non finalist drumcorps and it was the best time of my life. would change it for any thing

  • If you look at the scores throughout the season, it's no fluke. I'm sorry, but Madison and the Academy could not have made up the point differential in time to squeeze past them. That's the name of the game folks. I hope the Troopers continue on next year and I look forward to seeing them next year.

  • Damn right they earned that shit....I wanna see them in finals from now on.

  • Clean wins.

Troopers did a great job in 09 pushing their show past clean and sold the production.. I haven't heard Academy or Scouts say anything bad about Troopers in 12th..

  • The Colts were close to beating Troopers for that last spot. Hats off to The Colts for an awesome show as well. In my opinion their show deserved to be in finals.

  • I saw the Troopers twice in early July. Their show had great potential but it needed clearning. I watched the scoring of them all throughout the season and they sparred neck-and-neck and toe-to-toe with the Colts to get that 12th place spot. It was consistent throughout the season. It wasn't a "gift" or a "feel good story"---they earned it.

  • Hey everyone...I posted this video to show everyone that The Troop is BACK! There has always been discussions about them earning their way back into finals. I was in Birmingham, AL in 1979 for prelims and if the buzz was that if the Troopers didn't make it into the Top 12, they would fold. They gave the performance of their freakin' lives and they made it---while the Crossmen "mailed it in" and wound up in 13th place.

  • Being in the Troopit this year all I can say is I am very grateful for us making finals. That being said Im not going to get involved in this heated argument any further, it is thanks to people who share what they truly think, good or bad, that help us to grow better, good to push us to be better or bad to help us to change your opinion, so thanks to both sides of this argument. Truly no sarcasm here.

  • cantgetenoughcorps-- what are you, about 16 and think you know everything? If you're such an expert, why didn't we see you down there judging?

  • Its not a freakin "gift". DCI finally did something DECENT for RIGHTFULLY giving the Troopers a spot in finals...........

and its too bad the BD won. Thats bullshit

  • Its because of people like you that DCI scoring is bullshit...........Its fuckin politics.........The Troopers earned that mother fucker 100% and you are a dumb ass for thinking otherwise....go ahead and rant on with more bullshit please.

  • Not earned? What the fuck??!!?!?!?!

    you are a dumb ass

  • They defenately earned it and you are an idiot for thinking otherwise. You obviously know nothing about dci. If you ever marched (god forbid) then you must be bitter or something. Give it up. You are 100% WRONG

  • Im pretty sure you must have been the drunk one, because there was no chance Cavies or SCV would make 2nd. Don't get me wrong I loved both of there show but it just wasn't going to happen. Also, you say that Troop didn't deserve Finals, that Colts, Academy, and Scouts had cleaner drill than Troop...but they also had easier drill to achieve, and nearly every impact and "loud" sections that they played was at a halt, where as Troop had holds for half of their impacts after they stopped playing.

  • If you knew anything about the way judging is decided, you'd know why they made the decision they made.

Judging isn't solely based on how 'clean' you are. There is much more to it than that, just ask anyone who's actually MARCHED drum corps.

  • Back in finals...Yesss...Man they have come a long way since 2003 when i marched with them...Just to think the core didnt even march in 2006 and now in 2009 they are in finals...Got to love it..Anything Is Possibleeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

  • yay they made it to finals!

  • They are STILL fighting to get into 12th place (score-wise). It's between them and The Colts. We just have to hope they peak next week.

  • Love you Troop! I still remember when I bought an old uniform hat at the Dallas show in 04. America's corps deserves more love!

  • Troopers top 12! ! ! ! Keep it going!

  • They are 12th place now. Great job Troopers! You are the season's big talk! At least I think you are. haha.

  • get it robby!

  • Troopers!!!!!!! HLD!

  • Corey Moore is a badass
