Review: 'Quantum of Solace' Feels Too Slight

I think QOS is better than Casino. Better action, better acting, better sets, better direction. It had terrible editing and some lame dialogue "He met a dead end"? "She's seasick"? But it was fun and light like a Roger Moore/Brosnan film.

Q of S starts of with a thrilling car chase which is over very quickly and could have been used later on in the film. The film should have started off with the rooftop chase and the theme song played after Bond shoots M's bodyguard. The gun barrel opening is also missing - why?

The film requires multiple viewings. After seeing it for the first time, i felt the same way as this reviewer. But having seen it a few times now, the film actually has the most substance of any Bond film I have seen, it is a purely character driven story of redemption and duty, and one of the best in the series.
