Someone posted: "Just so you should be clear, Messianic Judaism is considered blasphemy." True, in many circumstances believing in Y'shua as the Messiah and being a Jew would be considered sinful and worthy of extreme punishment. The same would go for any Muslim who came to know Y'shua as the Messiah. Yet, that is just too bad; it doesn't change the fact that Y'shua is the Messiah.
Someone posted: "how can i join a messianic jewish community in israel i want to convert!" My response is that there is no "conversion." You are either a Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah or you are a non-Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah and are adopted spiritually into the Abrahamic Covenant. All "Christian" really is a GREEK word that means "little Christ." Christ is the GREEK word for MESSIAH, so "Messianic" means of the Messiah.
Edhardyto: YAH'shua ( JE'sus) is GOD Made into a Man, He possesed a Deul Nature, Divine and Human. As a man He Worshiped and Prayed unto The Omnipresent Spirit of God, There are Not 3 Gods, Nore are there 3 Persons, One God, One Person, One Spirit. One Name: Y.H.W.H.o'shua !!!!
Just so you should be clear, Messianic Judaism is considered blasphemy
and idolatry in Judaism as it worships J & uses holy jewish vessels to accomplish this. Practicing Messianic, shows total ignorance of Judaism & what it stands for. If you want to practice it, just practice the Xtian side & you won't be guilty of capital sin in Judaism (or u can convert to Judaism but based on your obvious intentions, that would be unlikely.)
Really sad. You do not practice Judaism; once you accept Jesus as the Messiah you are called a "Christian". It's certainly not a bad thing, but seeing you take Jewish traditions, songs, music , is really too much. It hurts to see people "act" Jewish, but are Christians in their hearts.
@ponyguy99 Who's Acting? To say we are just faking is not reality. I don't "take" Jewish stuff- I practice it. Many of us are Jewish! My hope is that "Christians" who have strayed so far from the truth of Biblical Feasts (which are forever) come into fellowship. The split that happened thousands of years ago was a split in the Jewish community as the first "Christians" were ALL JEWS! The split was over what brings Salvation. Messianics (the first church) knew Salvation only came through Y'shua.
thks for this video!! As i read the postings here by various people, I learnt words like 'messianic jew', 'judeo..'
I am a non-jew but i thank our God that In Him we are all one, those who confess with their mouths Jesus is LOrd and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9) In same book of bible Romans 10:12 'for there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord Is Lord of all..' Jesus IS the Messiah! PTL

edhardyto: Only worship and pray to God. Now the Holy Spirit infills, comforts, convicts, and reminds the believer as well as makes them spiritually fruitful and bestows gifts. We communicate only with One God and we relate to His three expressions/manifestations. There is only One God.
edhardyto: Also to further add, do not pray to the dead which includes "saints" and the only mediator is Y'sua Ha Mashiac (The Messiah.) He died for all our sins as the Passover Lamb and will come again to rule and reign and cause Israel to be the glorified city it is meant to be.
edhardyto: There are no other Gods beside YHWH- the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. No other religions or their pagan gods are valid for salvation. Y'shua (Jesus) is the way, truth, and life and no one can enter heaven by any other way. We must repent and accept His sacrifice on the cross and follow Him to be restored.
Edhardyto: Huge subject that is difficult to explain in detail on youtube, but I'll do several postings. Here goes... In Genesis 1:26, Elohim is plural and Elohim means God. This is a mystery, but we know there is a plurality in the singularity of God. There are not three separate Gods, but one God with three parts or persons or aspects or manifestations. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. There are three primary colors in light, red yellow blue, but it's one light... Three expressions.
Negatives: If Jesus is God, then why did Jesus worship God? Does it make sense? Or is Jesus a minor God? Is Christianity monotheistic? Is it the religion of Abraham? Abraham told Nemrod, there is only one God and only he is worthy of worship... Christianity says there are three.. So can anyone help me out here. I'm Italian.. just a little confused..
@edhardyto what we believe is that there is one God but he reveals himself to us in 3 forms: the father (Abba), the son (Yeshua Ha'Mashiac {jesus christ}), and the holy spirit (Ruach Ha'Kodesh) God is all three and all three are God. Abba is the creator, he rewards us when we are faithful. Yeshua is our savior. he is all God AND all man. he was the lamb without blemish and it is by his sacrifice we are saved. the Ruach Ha'kodesh is the comfortor and our guidance. three charachteristics, one God
@edhardyto In the Hebrew scriptures the Messiah is depicted as the arm of the LORD this is how he can be distinct from God and be one with him at the same time. He is the saving hand of God.
@edhardyto Jesus being GOD in the flesh worshiped him first of all to be an example on how HE wants us to come unto HIM and secondly because it is the law of mortality that mortals can not glory in them selves so there fore with YHWH being who HE is made HIMSELF subject to that law.
I LOVE these dances! Reminds me of the women in ancient times, singing, dancing, proclaiming God as Lord of all Creation...
It's just so..."old school"! I LOVE it! (lol)
God bless you- I know a lot of people have negative feelings regarding *dancing* in reverence to the Lord... but I think as long as it's done respectfully & w/the right intentions...
I think it's a beautiful sight to behold, and I'm sure God looks down at his daughters and smiles in delight!
@NoorminAllah Hmmmm... not true & faulty assumptions & wrong conclusions. Zionism supports a strong Israel. GOD Himself gave Israel PROMISED LAND and they should defend it! Spiritually, I believe in a spiritual Zion with Y'shua returning through the Eastern Gate and joining all who believe from every nation and tongue. He will bring the New Jerusalem. I do not believe in the Anti-Christ who will set himself up in a man-made Temple. I do not support satan-worship nor new world order...
@genesis6mythology There is no "conversion." You are either a Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah or you are a non-Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah and are adopted spiritually into the Abrahamic Covenant. All "Christian" really is a GREEK word that means "little Christ." Christ is the GREEK word for MESSIAH, so "Messianic" means of the Messiah.
I really enjoy the strength of worship and love of God displayed in this video. I am studying Hebrew with Hebrew 4 Christians, a free site and it has sound. You can start as simple as the alphabet and go through the Torah, the names of God, the Psalms and much more. What means the most to me is the daily site blog, you just scroll down and you can read about the upcoming Jewish Holidys and Shabbat. It is excellent. I share because it means so much to me. Hearing Jewish music is good. Thanks!
Someone said somewhere that we were hijacking the Jewish faith. Baloney! We are doing no such thing. Christians are JUDEO-CHRISTIAN. Our very ROOTS are Jewish- Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi for pete's sake . We are a branch. Go back and discover history. There was a split among Jews of that time, those that accepted Y'shua and those that didn't. But they are and will always be Jews. The gentiles of the earth convert to a Judeo root. Sadly, we have some bad teaching on our side of the branch, too.
wait, if you're not trying to hijack the jewish faith then why send out leaflets trying to persuade reform, elderly and jews who do not have a clue about judiasm to basiclaly christianity? I have watched all of your 'services' on youtube and they completely go against the Torah. Firstly in the sukkot one, a succah is not kohser if it's indoors, seccond the talits arent either. I havent even seen one proper prayer! not even something as basic as the shema, the most important in the TORAH.
We are not sending out leaflets, where do you get such stuff! Duh, we know the succah is for outside... we had created booths at one of our events in sukkot THEME for educational purposes similar to convention center booths- nothing wrong with that ARTISTIC form. OBVIOUSLY, this is a creative arts worship conference not a specific congregational meeting with certain prayers, etc.
i got approached by a man in golders green (london) with a jews for jesus leafelt pleading with me to leave my culture behind. Look, the mere fact that you guys play loud music, and even record your services on shabbat/yom tov is against the old testament and against Judaism, how does that work?
Look, ive watched your videos and again id like to re-iterate my point that all of the Jews who join you are reform/conservative you will find no orthodox rabbi leaving because he STUDIES the bible
Who knows if he was or was not truly associated w/Jews for Jesus. I don't know why you don't seem to understand we are "Messianic," we are not Orthodox or Reform/Conservative, all though some people in this world are and believe in Y'shua as the Messiah. I do want you to understand that you can be Orthodox and in your heart believe that Y'shua is the Messiah. You also don't have to worship the way we do like dancing and music, etc. This is a creative arts event. Shabbat is for rejoicing!
We are not obsessed with converting Jews. We share the good news with anyone who is interested and we are respectful of their own free-will choice. Y'shua is our Rabbi, Teacher, Messiah- that should answer your question. We only hope that other Jews will recocgnize that Y'shua is the Messiah for ALL NATIONS. Our faith is Judeo based, not Hindu based, not Muslim based.
I'll tell you why she is. Because Jesus said in John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
That is why, she loves people and wants to see them get to the Father with her.
In my experience, Messianic Judaism's actual purpose is to convert Christians. Now don't get me wrong, Jews for Jesus' purpose is to covert Jews, but Messianic Judaism is not the same thing at all as Jews for Jesus. Jews for Jesus is an organization; not a religion. Messianic Judaism is a religion. Messianic Judaism's purpose is to bring Christians back to their Hebrew roots, to see the Jewish roots of Christianity. If Jews want this too, that's fine, but the purpose is for Christians.
@spreadthegospel The First Church were ALL JEWS and they were another sect of Judaism. The split away from Judaism came when CERTAIN Jewish leaders began teaching against salvation in Y'shua as Messiah. As time went on and the majority of the church were in regions outside Israel so there was an increasing disconnect with Jewish roots. Today Christians have misconceptions and don't understand the Torah/Bible. It's a mess. Now we reconnect with our roots, finding true faith as God designed it.
Many, but not all Muslims believe as you. Yes, it is a good point that you bring out that you believe in the prophets. I think Muslims who believe this are closer to the truth than Muslims who do not. There is a lot of debate about the name of Allah whether it is simply as you say or derived from another deity.
The beginning of what you said we believe. The rest we don't really. We do understand the line of Ishmael and God's blessing upon them. However, we do not believe that mohammed is all that he claimed. Y'shua is the only salvation.
we muslims as a whole accept yashua Jesus as the christ ! son of Mary. born a virgin birth had miracles such as healing the blind and leapers and raising the dead! we have no trouble accepting that about him! all muslims accept that that is what the quran teaches! no one can be a muslim if they reject anything of that! we also beleive he has titles such as the word of God, and the spirit of God! but we dont say he is devine or god incarnate! ALLAH is the arabic name for the one God
Some Muslims do come to understand that Y'shua (Jesus) is the Messiah and not just another prophet as taught. But the most important thing to know is that Y'shua is the only mediator for our sins. Yet when coming from any other religious background it is important to know what is true and what to discard as false. It is not customary that all Muslims worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. In fact, Allah may not refer to the One True God, but another deity.
Read the Greek Scriptures, also known as the New Testament. It was written by Jewish people. Read it BEFORE you reject it. If you reject it, at least know WHAT it is you are rejecting. Be brave. Just read it. It's not what you think. It's not what you've been told. There is no substitute for reading it!!
And furthermore it is not a conversion, but a repentance, a drawing nearer to Adonai. It's a relationship with Adonai, such as what Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses had. I don't know why Catholicism needs a priest since Yeshua is the last high priest. He makes intercession for us when we go to Adonai.
I am a messianic jew who came to faith after reading a book that showed me Yeshua in Hebrew Scripture. Prophecy that was fulfilled. It is not converting to Christianity, because bibilical Judaism and Biblical Christianity are 1 in the same worshipping the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was the Rabbi's, Emporer Constantine and some Catholic priests who divided us. Yeshua and his disciples were and still are Jewish. I will pray for the non-believers. Shalom.
Why aren't you honest? You are NOT Jews, you are Christians and fanatical Christians at that. If someone of another religious group came into your place of worship and deliberately tried to convert you, claiming you could only be "fulfilled" by accepting their god, you'd be rightfully offended. As a Jew I am offended that your kind try to persuade Jews to become Christians. Please stop perverting my religion.
Furthermore I would just like to say that the disciples of Y'shua were Jewish and went through proper training in the Yeshiva. "Christian" is a Greek to English term that came later, but it means (in Hebrew) Messianic or "Of the Messiah" regarding belief in Y'shua. It wasn't until certain sects of Judiasm decided to reject Y'shua and separated themselves claiming that though sacrifice was no longer needed that studying the Torah would be redemption enough.
Let me paint a picture for you. There is a girl holding a bowl of fruit. This fruit is precious and contains the blessings of Shabbat, the warmth of Sukkot, the joy of Pesach, the healing of Yom Kippur, the light of Hanukkah, the beauty of Purim, the redemption of Passover, and the song of Rosh Hashanah. The girl relished these fruits. They are her very heart and soul. These are the works of God which she can eat and digest and become fulfilled in Adonai. [continue story on next post...]
[cont...] Then being the superior Jew that you are, call her a "goyim" and rip her very spiritual sustenance away. You curse her as undeserving and wretched. Fortunately one piece of fruit was left for her, but it was the sourness of Tish B'Av. She was glad to have that fruit though bitter and unedible because she came to understand that she should never treat anyone with such contempt as was done to her. It would have been better for the Jew to welcome her sister than to rot away with jealousy.
And I will tell you the name of the girl, which is Ruth-through-the-ages who lives within every one of us redeemed kinsmen who say, "I will go where you go and your God will be my God."
stop trying to convert Jews. This is all wrong. I for one am a jew and watching this 'service' is embarressing. Jews do not pray to g-d like this at all. There is not one prayer here. Simply one israeli song, one jewish hym (which isnt a prayer), and 2 christian songs. Why do u think it is only the liberal and reform Jews who join Jews for Jesus? The learned rabbis don't because there is no evidence anywhere that he's our messiah. All of your jewish quotes from Torah are misenterpreted/ made up.
Look we are Messianic and so we have the Torah and all the Scriptures including the New Testament which highlights the life of Y'shua Ha Mashiac. There is TONS of evidence that Y'shua is the Messiah. EVERYONE has to make a choice regarding Y'shua, everyone is faced with Y'shua and has to decide if they believe or not. Your choice is clear.
And our Rabbi Y'shua Ha Mashiac said, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea." Matt. 18: 6 Of course, He was speaking figuratively, but He made His point. Y'shua is drawing the gentiles to the joy of salvation and to write the law of Adonai on their hearts.
Youtube: Mt Sinai, Jabel Al Lawz Saudi Arabia Pass it on!! I'm Christian and I pray that you be blessed, and also the same One who ratified the Old Covenant came to earth to ratify the New with His own blood.
I removed the comment because it was so rude. But it was about what we were wearing. Understand that this is taken at a creative arts conference so many are dressed in sacred dance garments. Many cultures and groups utilize dance and/or special attire as creative expression. This is neither good or bad in an of itself. It is how we dance, who we worship, and what we model that is important. A thing may resemble other things, but if peered into the heart one will find its true meaning.
These prayer portions inspired me today: O Lord, Draw us to Thy Torah and illumine our hearts that we may comprehend Thy Truth. Grant us to perform noble deeds, to study Thy Torah and to cleave to Thy commandments. Inspire us to know our shortcomings and make us zealous in the effort to grow more acceptable in Thy sight. Guard us from the company of evil men and from those who mock at Thy word. Lift the clouds of ill-will that divide our world into hostile camps. May men learn to revere Thee...
I am not perfect and as long as I try to obey and serve I do no perfectly obey and serve- no one does. Therefore, I must have a sacrifice. This sacrifice is not more "works," salvation is by "faith." We are fortunate that Y'shua is "The Lamb," who was slain for the sins of the world. We no longer require sacrifice, but faith in Him to forgive us as we confess our sins and return to God and His Torah. With Ruach HaKodesh inside us, His Law is written on our hearts, and we the "Living Temple."
Zacharias the Jew, in Luke 2:32, said of Y'shua, "For my eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou has prepared in the presence of all peoples, A LIGHT OF REVELATION TO THE GENTILES [referring to Isaiah 9:2 and 42:6], and the glory of Thy people Israel [Jews]. Y'shua is the "Word [Torah] made flesh."
Y'shua HaMashiac came to fulfill the Law, not abolish it. He said, "I am The Vine and you are the branches." He said, "I am the Way, The Truth, and the Life." Adonai said that He sent His only begotten Son as the "Light of the World." Y'shua is the root and the offspring of David.
I have to agree with Yonah... "Messy Antics" and Evangelicals have messed it really good for Jews. How can you teach a Jew Emet (Truth) when you all have only partial Truth yourselves? Keep on celebrating your heathen festivals...Christmas/Easter/Sunday worship. Good luck heathens masked in the Holy Face of YESHUA. HE said: "If you love ME, obey my Commandments"... That means Torah in case you don't know. Get rid of your Greek translated Bibles and you may somewhere with Jews and Isarel.
I do not celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Hanukkah and Y'shua as the "Light of the World." I celebrate the resurrection of Y'shua as he died and rose during the Passover. As for "translations" the Word must go out to ALL NATIONS. Yes, if one loves God, they will obey.
As I believe in Y'shua I celebrate His birth, life, death, resurrection, and His coming again to judge the living and the dead. The way in which I celebrate the Messiah is within God designed worship and not in the holidays designed of man or demon. I celebrate Hanukkah, Shabbat, and all God's Feasts. Y'shua is revealed in these celebrations. Still, observance and knowledge is not enough. We must live out the truth- take action and share with others and be transformed.
Also, not many understand. The Messiah Y'shua (salvation) comes from the Jews. Most believers were Jewish in the beginning and the Messiah's message was spread to all nations in fulfillment of prophesy. Unfortunately, along the way, the church lost many of its Jewish roots. We want to correct that problem and return to Truth. Yes, the "church" has gotten off in some things, but they do have some things right, too.
This is a journey and for many they have to be taught, inspired, corrected in love, and have bridges built to help them return. There is a lack of understanding for so many. But we are to love them and help them transition. As for Jews, we need the Messiah, but should NOT leave our faith! The Messiah completes faith. I am "Messianic" and I love Torah.
We should be excited that many Christians are returning to their roots. This is a very good sign. We should be excited that Jews are finding The Messiah and this is a very good sign as well.
The Sabbath is the seventh day and that did not change and that is truth. Shabbat is a memorial (forever)that God designed for man to honor His work. Y'shua dying on the cross did not change that. He rose on the first work day. While many things of the First Covenant were updated, the essence (spirit) of the First Covenant was not changed. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God did not "replace" the Jews or His Law. In fact, He put His Law in our hearts and minds.
Grace exists because no one can perfectly fulfill the law. Animal sacrifice is no longer required for forgiveness of sins. Sins are now forgiven through the cross. Logically, you can understand that morals and law do not disappear or become obsolete. The Ten Commandments, for example, are still in effect. We should still be on our best behavior. Grace does not replace law, rather grace gives us the ability to live righteously.
Grace is not "do whatever you want!" Grace helps us repent and change our ways, not give us license to do worse. Grace did not abolish the law, it helps us fulfill it. The Sabbath for example will always be the Sabbath because that was the day G-d rested. The Sabbath was established for that purpose. That doesn't change. Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill."
Matthew 5:18-19 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
We may not be required to fulfill some ceremonial law like animal sacrifice, for example, but we are still subject to moral law. Furthermore, it is we who must learn what pleases G-d and do those things. We know what pleases G-d because of His Word and because His Law has now been written on our hearts. We live genuinely and sincerely desiring to obey Him, not going through the motions without any understanding or connection. What good is it to fulfill ceremony, yet have no true relationship?
We are no longer under the law of sin and death because we have the blood of Y'shua on the door posts of our souls and hearts. The second death shall pass us by. Yet, as we live on earth we must do our best to live according to His Word. We have the power now to overcome through repentance and forgiveness of sins in a greater capacity. "Under the law" we were required to make sacrifice, but "under grace" we no longer have to make sacrifice. That doesn't mean moral law is abolished.
Sometimes in sermons we have heard the preacher uses Romans 6:14 too broadly. This Scripture is actually talking about something very specific and that is salvation and it's requirements. We are no longer under the law of sin and death, which means salvation is not received by works. We are now under grace which means salvation is received by faith through the forgiveness of sins. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Y'shua The Messiah."
I am a Christian believer, and not born Jewish, and I hear about the ad stories of my brothers and sisters (messianic Jews) who are being persecuted in the land of zion, ISRAEL. I live in America, immigrants from another country and I Praise the most high God, ELOHE YISRAEL ADONAI!!! God Bless Israel and his mighty People! bless this ministry of dance unto the Lord!
This is not Jewish. If you Protestants love Jews and Israel so much, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, but do not tell people that you are Jews.
Why not just enjoy being what you are which is a Christian Zionist. There is nothing wrong with that.
Some are Jews and some are not. Some are Christian Zionists, some are Messianic... so many labels. We Just love G-d and we love the Jewish people and we are grafted in as one through Yeshua. Some may even be Jews and don't even know it!
You have it WRONG my friend (yonah ) Jewiwh believers in Yeshua are Very Jewish, this is waht completes all of us as Jewish people, it is believing in our Messiah. Even I didn't know this till I found it and this is the Truth. You need to research it, and with more faith you can find it too.
You study the scripture because you believe in them you will find salvation but Yahshua has said they testify of Him. If you believed Moses you would believe in whom he wrote about.
Study my friend or rather pray and seek the face of YAH. The Messiah was and is Yahshua.
Deuteronomy 18:15 "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;"
18-19 "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."
"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."
Psalms 22
Isaiah 53
Therefore seek your Messiah. Deuteronomy 10:16 "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked."
The is only ONE G-d and that is the most important thing to know. There are not many gods and there are not many ways to G-d. There is only one way to G-d. The expressions of G-d may vary, from Father to Son to Holy Spirit, but only ONE GOD. A person may be Mother, sister, and friend, but remains the same person. Still, theology aside, there is only One G-d.
The point is that G-d is ONE God. Sorry my example didn't work- a lame attempt to try to explain the "trinity." Of course, G-d does not have a split personality. G-d is God and that's it. Now, He did create a Son who is the Messiah. The Holy Spirit does exist as well. The Son and the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha'Kodesh) come from the ONE G-D as the Scripture says that Jesus was the only begotten son of G-d. The Holy Spirit is a comforter sent from G-d to His people.
The Messiah, Son of G-d, was sent by G-d, as a perfect spotless lamb to be the final sacrifice, the Passover Lamb, to redeem mankind to G-d. Man alone could not accomplish this. Yahushua released Jews from under the law of the animal sacrifice. Anyone who believes in Yahushua will be covered under His sacrifice and sins will be forgiven.
Yahushua rose from the grave (the grave could not keep him because he was perfect)and he freed those who were held in the earth (those who were under animal sacrifice) so they could enter heaven. Yahusha also appeared to many before he ascended into heaven. After this G-d sent Ruach Ha'Kodesh to comfort and empower His people. So, Passover and Pentecost were prophetically fulfilled. Those who believe in Yahusha will also have eternal life with G-d. Yahusha's sacrifice lifts the veil.
dude, we just say Y'shua is the MASHIACH! we didn't say he is G-d. We know that HaShem is G-d and he is ONE i dont understand. messianic Jews AND orthodox Jews should live in peace. and honestly. didnt it say in the TORAH that HaShem said"To love your NEIGBOOR as YOURSELF for the mouth of the L-RD has spoken? why? why is thsi bullshlacha going on in HaAretz?
Whereby, when ye read,ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles shoud be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.Ephesians 3;4-6 But ye are a chosen generatin, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God.1pet2:9,10
the congregation of the Lord is a spiritual union of men and women redeemed through the atoning death of Christ, it is not a performance taking place in an aditorium with on lookings watching!! We are to function as the Holy Spirit equips and places us in His body functioning as priests before our King with Christ our life communicating Himself through his body the congregation of the redeemed. Do you have spiritual eyes to see? If not then either you are not of the body or believe a lie.
To: JoyConference May YHWH bless you! I cryed reading what you wrote and listening the song. Exacly, the language is not important, is just the message! Jesus is coming! BE READY! HE IS COMING SOON! I love you Jesus, I bless you, I praise you, I thank you! Aleluia!
I wanted to say something about the fact that many Christians blame Jews for the death of Jesus. Stop blaming others and look at your own sin that crucified Christ. 1. Jesus had to die. 2. He rose from the grave. 3. We are ALL guilty (not the Jews) for Jesus death. 4. Jesus was glad to die for us and forgive us of our sins. 5. God did not "replace" Christians with the Jews. 6. God wants all people to come to know Him through Jesus. 5. Jesus was the final sacrifice for all sin.
That's a full AMEN!!! In fact I love all Jews as my brothers and sisters, especially bless the ones living in His Holy & most beloved land of His creation Israel. J-W-H is the most high so let's start to realise that every fight between our selves is a trearonouns game of satan, while we (Jews and Christians) belong to most high Lord God.
for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jeuw: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men. Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alsway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. 1Thessalonians 2:14-16
I'm not guilty for any sin but my own and none other and for this Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6
Isaih 53: How do you see this is Jesus? Many Jews have suffered. Many Jews have died. So he suffered, what does that prove? 6,000,000 Jews were killed, maybe Chapter 53 the "servant" is Israel?
Secondly, look at Isaiah 41:8. and Isaiah 44. The text CLEARLY names the "servant":
"But you, O Israel, My SERVANT, Jacob, you whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham who loved Me.....(vs 9) I shall say 'You are My servant' - I have chosen you and not rejected you."
Yeshua is the final sacrifice for sin. In this special and unique way He has served and loved mankind and G-d. The holocaust was EVIL and hopefully their deaths were not in vain. Yet they did not die to take away our sin. Isaiah 53 "...Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried... He was pierced through for our transgressions... He was crushed for our iniquities... by His scourging we are healed."
If you are Jewish why are you reading a Christan version of the text? Your verse " He was pierced through our transgressions " is yet another "pious fraud" false translation of the xtins. Why don't you read the Jewish version? The Jewish translation is "he was pained by our transgressions". Isaiah 53 is refering to Israel.
And even if IS the Messiah it's NOT JESUS. vs. 10 " he will see seed and live long days." "Seed - Zera" is ONLY physical never spiritual. Ben - son can be spiritual. Dt 14:1
I don't think there is a big huge argument here. You need to understand that I am not against you. I love Israel, I love the Torah, I love G-d, I love Yeshua. I guess that is the big sticking point with you. Yeshua died for everyone and anyone who will accept His sacrifice. I am someone.
It's NOT "Jewish" or "Christian"... It's "Hebrew" to "English Translation." You keep wanting to make this a war between Christians and Jews. I am not interested in debating the sins of Jews and Christians... Anyone with good conscience should know what is evil and what is good.
You quote "He was crushed for our iniquities." that again is wrong translation. the real translation is " he was opressed THROUGH our iniquities". Again I can read Hebrew. Can you? It's not "for our sins" its " FROM" or "THROUGH or sins". The Hebrew letter here is "Mei" which means "from". To say "for" in hebrew would be "le..".
So again it's your translation that leads to the wrong conclusions.
Isaiah 53 is the nations saying look how we oppressed the Jews for no reason.
I didn't realize you wanted to only discuss the Hebrew Jewish translation of the Hebrew Tanach. I do use an English Bible and many different translations as well.
You should be glad that more and more Christians are turning to the Jewish roots of their faith. Many people in Christianity are changing to embrace Israel and are finally getting some things right.
If ye are Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29 In Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Gal.6:15,16 Those in Christ are the Isreal of God. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham...they which are the children of the flesh...Rom 9:6-8
Yeah, I used my English Bible, so what?! I can also use the Hebrew... The fact is what you say, "He was oppressed through our iniquities..." and for what? Because of sin. The point is clear. Let's not get caught up in what translation is best, let's do something with the message we are given!
Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah. You will never be able to change my mind about that. Straining pebbles isn't going to solve anything. I do agree with learning more and more deeply, but this doesn't change the fact that Yeshua is my Messiah. He came once for the suffering, then He will come again. When He comes again we will be on the same page I hope. We are in the season of the gentile and once that season is over it will be made even more clear that Yeshua is who He says He is.
Isaiah does address Israel as G-d's servant and when he does so he addresses the people of the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob by "O Jacob, My Servant; And Israel, whom I have chosen..." This is to clarify who he is prophesying to.
Messianic stuff has NEVER convinced a frum from birth Jew. That means a Jew who was raised religious, kept shabbat, kept kosher, learned Torah, (went to Yeshivah) and learned Tanach from the original Hebrew. Why? B/c the "proof" is EASILY refuted IF you read the CORRECT translation, in CONTEXT and read the verses preceading and the verses following the "proof".
Give me any "proof" and I can disprove it in a second. Regarding Isaiah 53 See Isaiah 41:8, 44 proves "servant" = Israel
That is a lie. I am religious and you wont be able to throw xtins false translations Isaiah 7:14 falsy translated as virgin. Its real translation is "young woman" Psalm 22:17 AGAIN falsley translated as "peierced" when ka'ari means "like a lion" as the psalm continues 22:22.
I have yet to meet a born religious yeshivah educated Jew convert to xtianity. DOES NOT EXIST.
For 2000 years you xtinas have tried to convert jews. Inquisitions, pogroms, forced conversions. Now you do it by TRICKERY.
Now hold on there! An educated discussion is one thing, being nasty is another. Your accusations are completely false. Of course, we all need to go back and look at the original Ancient Hebrew and Greek texts to understand further, I agree. There are always issues when translating from one language into another like from Ancient Hebrew to English. That is why we study and learn how to interpret with good measures.
Granted, some people of any and all religions have used trickery to hurt others. However this is not the case all of the time. You should be righteously angry at injustice, sure, but in that anger don't become unjust. I think the Inquisition was horrid to say the least! Innocent blood still cries out from the land! Killing or forcing conversions in the name of G-d is evil.
Just because you haven't personally met a Yeshiva educated Jew accept Yeshua as the Messiah doesn't mean they don't exist, because they do, I've met them! When a Jew accepts Yeshua, they don't cease being a Jew. They are not "converted," they are "completed." I wouldn't ever expect a Torah observant Jew to throw it all away! G-d forbid. Who can leave the Torah? Who can escape G-d?!
All the founding fathers of my faith were Jews! The first church in Jerusalem was made up of Torah observant Yeshiva attending Jews. What Yeshua did was bring freedom to Jews who lived under the law. We know that no one is perfect. We know that we need atonement for our sins. We know that sacrifice cannot go on forever. How can we receive forgiveness? Through Yeshua.
OY! Bruised, pierced, beaten, oppressed, afflicted, stricken... the fact is He suffered for us so that we could be free and healed. Isn't this what the Messiah is supposed to do? The context and spirit of the text communicates in any language what transpired and the reason for it.
You may have become very clever at debate, but cleverness doesn't make something true. You are mixing two different prophesies of two different subjects. Don't confuse the real heart issue. You came to a point in your life where you had to make a decision about Yeshua and your own sin. What you have chosen to do is to deny who He is and find a way to justify sin on your own. Your decision is based on speculation and prejudice.
Christians have forgotten that the "church" was and still is founded in the Jewish faith. As the apostle Paul wrote, "Salvation is come from the Jews." Therefore, we must come into unity within the "Body of Christ" by praying for one another and blessing each other in Yeshua. Shalom
They should. Messianic Jews are what we call "completed Jews" that is that they have come to believe Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah who will come in glory. Christians already Believe in Jesus, but really need to embrace the Jewish roots of the faith. God promised never to forsake Israel and the Bible says Christians should not be arrogant to think He would.
JoyConference 1 month ago
Someone posted: "how can i join a messianic jewish community in israel i want to convert!" My response is that there is no "conversion." You are either a Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah or you are a non-Jew by birth that comes to the belief that Y'shua is the Messiah and are adopted spiritually into the Abrahamic Covenant. All "Christian" really is a GREEK word that means "little Christ." Christ is the GREEK word for MESSIAH, so "Messianic" means of the Messiah.

Just so you should be clear, Messianic Judaism is considered blasphemy
and idolatry in Judaism as it worships J & uses holy jewish vessels to accomplish this. Practicing Messianic, shows total ignorance of Judaism & what it stands for. If you want to practice it, just practice the Xtian side & you won't be guilty of capital sin in Judaism (or u can convert to Judaism but based on your obvious intentions, that would be unlikely.)
onthemoney90 1 year ago
Really sad. You do not practice Judaism; once you accept Jesus as the Messiah you are called a "Christian". It's certainly not a bad thing, but seeing you take Jewish traditions, songs, music , is really too much. It hurts to see people "act" Jewish, but are Christians in their hearts.
ponyguy99 1 year ago
@ponyguy99 Who's Acting? To say we are just faking is not reality. I don't "take" Jewish stuff- I practice it. Many of us are Jewish! My hope is that "Christians" who have strayed so far from the truth of Biblical Feasts (which are forever) come into fellowship. The split that happened thousands of years ago was a split in the Jewish community as the first "Christians" were ALL JEWS! The split was over what brings Salvation. Messianics (the first church) knew Salvation only came through Y'shua.

edhardyto: There are no other Gods beside YHWH- the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Positives: Great singing

Sadly, we have some bad teaching on our side of the branch, too.
duncanandwendy 2 years ago 3
wait, if you're not trying to hijack the jewish faith then why send out leaflets trying to persuade reform, elderly and jews who do not have a clue about judiasm to basiclaly christianity? I have watched all of your 'services' on youtube and they completely go against the Torah. Firstly in the sukkot one, a succah is not kohser if it's indoors, seccond the talits arent either. I havent even seen one proper prayer! not even something as basic as the shema, the most important in the TORAH.
linktrivium 2 years ago

Look, ive watched your videos and again id like to re-iterate my point that all of the Jews who join you are reform/conservative you will find no orthodox rabbi leaving because he STUDIES the bible
linktrivium 2 years ago
Who knows if he was or was not truly associated w/Jews for Jesus. I don't know why you don't seem to understand we are "Messianic," we are not Orthodox or Reform/Conservative, all though some people in this world are and believe in Y'shua as the Messiah. I do want you to understand that you can be Orthodox and in your heart believe that Y'shua is the Messiah. You also don't have to worship the way we do like dancing and music, etc. This is a creative arts event. Shabbat is for rejoicing!

linktrivium 2 years ago
We are not obsessed with converting Jews. We share the good news with anyone who is interested and we are respectful of their own free-will choice. Y'shua is our Rabbi, Teacher, Messiah- that should answer your question. We only hope that other Jews will recocgnize that Y'shua is the Messiah for ALL NATIONS. Our faith is Judeo based, not Hindu based, not Muslim based.
JoyConference 2 years ago
I'll tell you why she is. Because Jesus said in John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
That is why, she loves people and wants to see them get to the Father with her.
AsTheDaysOfNoahWere 2 years ago
In my experience, Messianic Judaism's actual purpose is to convert Christians. Now don't get me wrong, Jews for Jesus' purpose is to covert Jews, but Messianic Judaism is not the same thing at all as Jews for Jesus. Jews for Jesus is an organization; not a religion. Messianic Judaism is a religion. Messianic Judaism's purpose is to bring Christians back to their Hebrew roots, to see the Jewish roots of Christianity. If Jews want this too, that's fine, but the purpose is for Christians.
spreadthegospel 1 year ago

JoyConference 2 years ago

ALLAH is the arabic name for the one God
hmfy 2 years ago
Some Muslims do come to understand that Y'shua (Jesus) is the Messiah and not just another prophet as taught. But the most important thing to know is that Y'shua is the only mediator for our sins. Yet when coming from any other religious background it is important to know what is true and what to discard as false. It is not customary that all Muslims worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. In fact, Allah may not refer to the One True God, but another deity.

Shalom.
papagfunk 2 years ago 4
Why aren't you honest? You are NOT Jews, you are Christians and fanatical Christians at that. If someone of another religious group came into your place of worship and deliberately tried to convert you, claiming you could only be "fulfilled" by accepting their god, you'd be rightfully offended. As a Jew I am offended that your kind try to persuade Jews to become Christians. Please stop perverting my religion.
lilifyre 2 years ago

[continue story on next post...]
duncanandwendy 2 years ago 2
[cont...] Then being the superior Jew that you are, call her a "goyim" and rip her very spiritual sustenance away. You curse her as undeserving and wretched. Fortunately one piece of fruit was left for her, but it was the sourness of Tish B'Av. She was glad to have that fruit though bitter and unedible because she came to understand that she should never treat anyone with such contempt as was done to her. It would have been better for the Jew to welcome her sister than to rot away with jealousy.

stop trying to convert Jews. All of your jewish quotes from Torah are misenterpreted/ made up.
linktrivium 2 years ago
Look we are Messianic and so we have the Torah and all the Scriptures including the New Testament which highlights the life of Y'shua Ha Mashiac. There is TONS of evidence that Y'shua is the Messiah. EVERYONE has to make a choice regarding Y'shua, everyone is faced with Y'shua and has to decide if they believe or not. Your choice is clear.

And our Rabbi Y'shua Ha Mashiac said, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea." I removed the comment because it was so rude.

Hatorah 3 years ago
I do not celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Hanukkah and Y'shua as the "Light of the World." I celebrate the resurrection of Y'shua as he died and rose during the Passover. As for "translations" the Word must go out to ALL NATIONS. Yes, if one loves God, they will obey.
JoyConference 3 years ago
As I believe in Y'shua I celebrate His birth, life, death, resurrection, and His coming again to judge the living and the dead. The way in which I celebrate the Messiah is within God designed worship and not in the holidays designed of man or demon. I celebrate Hanukkah, Shabbat, and all God's Feasts. Y'shua is revealed in these celebrations. Still, observance and knowledge is not enough. We must live out the truth- take action and share with others and be transformed.
JoyConference 3 years ago
Also, not many understand. The Messiah Y'shua (salvation) comes from the Jews. Most believers were Jewish in the beginning and the Messiah's message was spread to all nations in fulfillment of prophesy. Unfortunately, along the way, the church lost many of its Jewish roots. We want to correct that problem and return to Truth. Yes, the "church" has gotten off in some things, but they do have some things right, too.
JoyConference 3 years ago
This is a journey and for many they have to be taught, inspired, corrected in love, and have bridges built to help them return. There is a lack of understanding for so many. But we are to love them and help them transition. As for Jews, we need the Messiah, but should NOT leave our faith! The Messiah completes faith. I am "Messianic" and I love Torah.
JoyConference 3 years ago
We should be excited that many Christians are returning to their roots. This is a very good sign. We should be excited that Jews are finding The Messiah and this is a very good sign as well.
JoyConference 3 years ago
The Sabbath is the seventh day and that did not change and that is truth. Shabbat is a memorial (forever)that God designed for man to honor His work. Y'shua dying on the cross did not change that. He rose on the first work day. While many things of the First Covenant were updated, the essence (spirit) of the First Covenant was not changed. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God did not "replace" the Jews or His Law. In fact, He put His Law in our hearts and minds.
JoyConference 3 years ago
Yes we do have the law upon our hearts, however according to Romans 6:14:
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
We are no longer under the law of sin and death, we are under grace. Read the rest of Romans 6.
And yes, God did not replace the Jews. You are correct on this, Israel is still close to His heart and His elect.
icarryacross 2 years ago
Grace exists because no one can perfectly fulfill the law. Animal sacrifice is no longer required for forgiveness of sins. Sins are now forgiven through the cross. Logically, you can understand that morals and law do not disappear or become obsolete. The Ten Commandments, for example, are still in effect. We should still be on our best behavior. Grace does not replace law, rather grace gives us the ability to live righteously.
JoyConference 2 years ago
Grace is not "do whatever you want!" Grace helps us repent and change our ways, not give us license to do worse. Grace did not abolish the law, it helps us fulfill it. The Sabbath for example will always be the Sabbath because that was the day G-d rested. The Sabbath was established for that purpose. That doesn't change. Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill."
JoyConference 2 years ago
Matthew 5:18-19 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
JoyConference 2 years ago
We may not be required to fulfill some ceremonial law like animal sacrifice, for example, but we are still subject to moral law. Furthermore, it is we who must learn what pleases G-d and do those things. We know what pleases G-d because of His Word and because His Law has now been written on our hearts. We live genuinely and sincerely desiring to obey Him, not going through the motions without any understanding or connection. What good is it to fulfill ceremony, yet have no true relationship?
JoyConference 2 years ago
We are no longer under the law of sin and death because we have the blood of Y'shua on the door posts of our souls and hearts. The second death shall pass us by. Yet, as we live on earth we must do our best to live according to His Word. We have the power now to overcome through repentance and forgiveness of sins in a greater capacity. "Under the law" we were required to make sacrifice, but "under grace" we no longer have to make sacrifice. That doesn't mean moral law is abolished.
JoyConference 2 years ago
Sometimes in sermons we have heard the preacher uses Romans 6:14 too broadly. This Scripture is actually talking about something very specific and that is salvation and it's requirements. We are no longer under the law of sin and death, which means salvation is not received by works. We are now under grace which means salvation is received by faith through the forgiveness of sins. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Y'shua The Messiah."

JoyConference 3 years ago
How can you think that titles like sister, mother, or friend can be the same as compared to the worshipping of three different people?
A single person can have numerous titles and still be one person, but you say you have three persons in your god.
There is only one G-d and He does not have a 3 way split personality.
Yonah613 3 years ago
The point is that G-d is ONE God. Sorry my example didn't work- a lame attempt to try to explain the "trinity." Of course, G-d does not have a split personality. G-d is God and that's it. Now, He did create a Son who is the Messiah. The Holy Spirit does exist as well. The Son and the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha'Kodesh) come from the ONE G-D as the Scripture says that Jesus was the only begotten son of G-d. The Holy Spirit is a comforter sent from G-d to His people.
JoyConference 3 years ago
The Messiah, Son of G-d, was sent by G-d, as a perfect spotless lamb to be the final sacrifice, the Passover Lamb, to redeem mankind to G-d. Man alone could not accomplish this. Yahushua released Jews from under the law of the animal sacrifice. Anyone who believes in Yahushua will be covered under His sacrifice and sins will be forgiven.
JoyConference 3 years ago
Yahushua rose from the grave (the grave could not keep him because he was perfect)and he freed those who were held in the earth (those who were under animal sacrifice) so they could enter heaven. Yahusha also appeared to many before he ascended into heaven. After this G-d sent Ruach Ha'Kodesh to comfort and empower His people. So, Passover and Pentecost were prophetically fulfilled. Those who believe in Yahusha will also have eternal life with G-d. Yahusha's sacrifice lifts the veil.

5. Jesus was the final sacrifice for all sin.

for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jeuw: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men. Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alsway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. 1Thessalonians 2:14-16
I'm not guilty for any sin but my own and none other and for this Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6
tjg2008 3 years ago
Isaih 53: How do you see this is Jesus? Many Jews have suffered. Many Jews have died. So he suffered, what does that prove? 6,000,000 Jews were killed, maybe Chapter 53 the "servant" is Israel?
Secondly, look at Isaiah 41:8. and Isaiah 44. The text CLEARLY names the "servant":
"But you, O Israel, My SERVANT, Jacob, you whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham who loved Me.....(vs 9) I shall say 'You are My servant' - I have chosen you and not rejected you."
shnaz65 3 years ago
Yeshua is the final sacrifice for sin. In this special and unique way He has served and loved mankind and G-d. The holocaust was EVIL and hopefully their deaths were not in vain. Yet they did not die to take away our sin. Isaiah 53 "...Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried... He was pierced through for our transgressions... He was crushed for our iniquities... by His scourging we are healed."
JoyConference 3 years ago
If you are Jewish why are you reading a Christan version of the text? Your verse " He was pierced through our transgressions " is yet another "pious fraud" false translation of the xtins. Why don't you read the Jewish version? The Jewish translation is "he was pained by our transgressions". Isaiah 53 is refering to Israel.
And even if IS the Messiah it's NOT JESUS. vs. 10 " he will see seed and live long days." "Seed - Zera" is ONLY physical never spiritual. Ben - son can be spiritual. Dt 14:1
shnaz65 3 years ago
I don't think there is a big huge argument here. You need to understand that I am not against you. I love Israel, I love the Torah, I love G-d, I love Yeshua. I guess that is the big sticking point with you. Yeshua died for everyone and anyone who will accept His sacrifice. I am someone.
JoyConference 3 years ago
It's NOT "Jewish" or "Christian"... It's "Hebrew" to "English Translation." You keep wanting to make this a war between Christians and Jews. I am not interested in debating the sins of Jews and Christians... Anyone with good conscience should know what is evil and what is good.
JoyConference 3 years ago
You quote "He was crushed for our iniquities." that again is wrong translation. the real translation is " he was opressed THROUGH our iniquities". Again I can read Hebrew. Can you? It's not "for our sins" its " FROM" or "THROUGH or sins". The Hebrew letter here is "Mei" which means "from". To say "for" in hebrew would be "le..".
So again it's your translation that leads to the wrong conclusions.
Isaiah 53 is the nations saying look how we oppressed the Jews for no reason.

For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham...they which are the children of the flesh...Rom 9:6-8
tjg2008 3 years ago
Yeah, I used my English Bible, so what?! I can also use the Hebrew... The fact is what you say, "He was oppressed through our iniquities..." and for what? Because of sin. The point is clear. Let's not get caught up in what translation is best, let's do something with the message we are given!
JoyConference 3 years ago

Regarding Isaiah 53 See Isaiah 41:8, 44 proves "servant" = Israel
shnaz65 3 years ago
You cannot seriously make such claims. There are in fact many Torah observant Jews who have come to know Yeshua as their Messiah.
JoyConference 3 years ago
That is a lie. I am religious and you wont be able to throw xtins false translations Isaiah 7:14 falsy translated as virgin. Its real translation is "young woman" Psalm 22:17 AGAIN falsley translated as "peierced" when ka'ari means "like a lion" as the psalm continues 22:22.
I have yet to meet a born religious yeshivah educated Jew convert to xtianity. DOES NOT EXIST.
For 2000 years you xtinas have tried to convert jews. Inquisitions, pogroms, forced conversions. Now you do it by TRICKERY.
shnaz65 3 years ago
Now hold on there! An educated discussion is one thing, being nasty is another. Your accusations are completely false. Of course, we all need to go back and look at the original Ancient Hebrew and Greek texts to understand further, I agree. There are always issues when translating from one language into another like from Ancient Hebrew to English. That is why we study and learn how to interpret with good measures.
JoyConference 3 years ago
Granted, some people of any and all religions have used trickery to hurt others. However this is not the case all of the time. You should be righteously angry at injustice, sure, but in that anger don't become unjust. I think the Inquisition was horrid to say the least! Innocent blood still cries out from the land! Killing or forcing conversions in the name of G-d is evil.
JoyConference 3 years ago
Just because you haven't personally met a Yeshiva educated Jew accept Yeshua as the Messiah doesn't mean they don't exist, because they do, I've met them! When a Jew accepts Yeshua, they don't cease being a Jew. They are not "converted," they are "completed." I wouldn't ever expect a Torah observant Jew to throw it all away! G-d forbid. Who can leave the Torah? Who can escape G-d?!
JoyConference 3 years ago
All the founding fathers of my faith were Jews! The first church in Jerusalem was made up of Torah observant Yeshiva attending Jews. What Yeshua did was bring freedom to Jews who lived under the law. We know that no one is perfect. We know that we need atonement for our sins. We know that sacrifice cannot go on forever. How can we receive forgiveness? Through Yeshua.
JoyConference 3 years ago
OY! Bruised, pierced, beaten, oppressed, afflicted, stricken... the fact is He suffered for us so that we could be free and healed. Isn't this what the Messiah is supposed to do? The context and spirit of the text communicates in any language what transpired and the reason for it.
JoyConference 3 years ago
You may have become very clever at debate, but cleverness doesn't make something true. You are mixing two different prophesies of two different subjects. Don't confuse the real heart issue. You came to a point in your life where you had to make a decision about Yeshua and your own sin. What you have chosen to do is to deny who He is and find a way to justify sin on your own. Your decision is based on speculation and prejudice.
