  • IS THAT JIMMY HART OF W.W.E. FAME

  • Aw hell. As a kid I always assumed the non-falsetto vocals were sung by Joe Torres, aka Danny from Nickelodeon's "Hey Dude". This video dispels that assumption. I'm not sure why this bums me out so...

  • My Grandpa rocks!!!! yay Roy Hensley!

  • One of the great songs of the 60's. Main riff later ripped off by Fine Young Cannibals for "Good Thing"...

  • Someday if I ever learn enough about this computer, I'd like to put together about two hours of my favorite "driving" music from this era. Good thumping sounds to accelerate by. Good possibility that "Liar Liar" will be very near the top. I'm a firm believer that music has a direct correlation to the output of any given engine. "Perceived Torque" maybe? BTW Blue, I traded my Keds for some cool jungle boots 68- 69. Very...manly?

  • Go-go dancers in white boots--when is somebody going to bring them back? Their idea was pure genius. By the way, has anybody ever heard of a go-go dancer falling off one of those platforms?

  • NUGGETS .

  • Does Keyboard Dude (Jim Donna) not sing in this?

  • I always thought a black chic sang the liar liar pants on fire line.

  • @NYhomewrecker I did too! Boy was I surprised to find out it was a homely little white boy all along! ^__^

  • I grew up listening to the music from the 60's, and that inspired me to be a musician.. I love hearing themusic and seeing the bands, but I really hate how all the acts were faking it to canned music. The keyboard player in this clip is playing a 60's Fender Rhodes Silver Top Suitcase Piano...but the keyboard on the record is either a Vox Continental, or a Farfisa Combo Organ.

  • I want Jim Donna to slap the shit out of me and objectify me.

  • That Justin bribery playing the drums?

  • Oh man look at that Beatle boot smoking on that Hi- hat..

  • @blueticecho Hey, back then, if you didn't own Beatle Boots you were like...a turd or worse. I tried a pair on and couldn't walk in them; bought the Pro Keds instead. Thus becoming a turd, but a turd who could walk. My brother had the boots and the Beatle haircut. Looked so much like Ringo that he scored all the chicks. But he walked funny. Cool memories...

  • @greasegun49 That's funny grease but my old man would never allow me to wear them something about my man hood.. But I did wear some cool jungle boots in 70-71..

  • @blueticecho LOL!!

    Thank you for serving, BTW!

  • I prefer watching Ginger and Mary Ann shakin' it to this tune.

  • My Sister liked this song when she was 9 and wanted to be a secret agent like Honey West.

  • @jdollinter Wow, i thought I was the only person left on the planet who remembered who Honey West was. She was played by Anne Francis wasn't she?

  • @gotch09 Not to diverge too much from The Castaways, but yes, Anne Francis played "Honey West." I remember it used to come on Friday nights, right after "The Addams Family," and she had a pet ocelot named Bruce. And that's pretty much my total knowledge of "Honey West!"

  • not as good as the archies...

  • One of the best screams in the history of Rock....

  • Far Out man!!!!

  • Classic song ... Good quality vid ! Wayne

  • Why are the audience clapping along like retards?

  • Still waiting for their 2nd Top 40 Boss Hit Bound Single

  • Probalbly on of the most groooovy tunes ever! Hats off to the Castaways! I miss girls screeming that way... what an excitement!

  • @GarageRockBeat Loved this song when I heard it. I was a kid and I loved the songs of the 60's! My kids love these songs and they were born in the 80's! LOL! Good music back then. Loved the go go dancers and the boots! LOL! Reminds me of actress Goldie Hawn who was once a go go dancer and went on to Laugh In fame!

  • Yes! Still Bitchin' !!! Love it after 57 years later!

  • @TonyPonyTube Redo your math....2010-1965=45

  • @TonyPonyTube by your logic, this would be from the early 50's.

It was released and charted in 1966, so therefore it's only 45 years old.

  • @CenaTv2 No, it charted on August 14, 1965.

  • @TonyPonyTube Came out in '65 so it's only 46 years old.

  • @TonyPonyTube I think you mean 47 years later!

  • @TonyPonyTube more like 47!
