  • My hearing is Wednesday. I'm so glad I found this video. I'm feel more at ease now that I, at least, have an idea of what to expect. Thanks!!

  • @PegLeg1069 glad the video helped! Let us know how it goes.Good luck!

  • I've been denied 3 times now and I've hired a attorney to represent me. We are currently on appeal and awaiting a court date! Thanks for the video because I am terrified about going to court. This video put a little ease in my future of a ALJ hearing! Thanks again!

  • @TowerClimber81 I'm so glad the video has helped put you at ease. Good luck at your hearing!

  • @vitalink1 Thanks again for the video! Definitely helped me and I'm sure this tutorial will do the same for others as well! =-)

  • So glad the video helped you prepare! That is why we produced it!!

  • Thank you for this video. My hearing is in 5 days and this helped me prepare. I`ll let you know how it went.

  • ANYONE WITH ANY SENSE WOULD BE NERVOUS ABOUT GOIN INTO FRONT OF PEOPLE THAT CAN MAKE MATTERS WORSE!

  • Why are 9/11 vicsims omitted from SSDI ?

  • @euro944t I am only the producer of the video and not an attorney so I cannot answer this question. I'd suggest asking an attorney in your area. Sorry I am not able to help any more on this topic.

  • @vitalink1

There is no answer, like many 9/11 questions.

It's un-American to ask our gov't questions after they fail to keep us safe.

  • This video has helped me on how to prepare for my ALJ, I was soo worried about this for 2 months but it went smooth and the judge told me right then and there that I was fully favorable. Thank you.

  • @branman055 I am so happy that this video helped you prepare! That is why we made the video and it is good to know that you got a lot out of it.

  • It sounds like you have been through a lot. I'm sorry the process isn't going as fast as you'd like. I am not a lawyer, I just produced this video. I'll ask and see if there is any help we could offer.

  • I am no longer able to work...I have been awaiting my hearing date and have no financial help...I have sold everything I own...my husband is the only one working and we are barely surviving...I do not know what else to do, to speed up the process?...I do not have children so I do not qualify for SSI...I have an attorney but feel as though I am lost in the shuffle...can anyone give me some advice?

  • I also have a permanent handicapped tag on my car and even when I park in the handicapped parking spaces I use a cane to assist myself in going into a store and then I have to use a shopping cart just to walk around the store...I tire very easily so I find myself not going into a store very often as it is not very fun anymore...when I am at home strenuous activities someone else has to do..I tried to do a part time job...could not do that

  • I live in the state of Georgia...I am now awaiting a hearing date...my request for a hearing date was filed May 6, 2011...My disability is...I had a major heart attack and underwent a quadruple bypass in March of 2010...and I have been diagnosed with COPD...I have extreme difficulty getting around and have problems walking long distances and just no longer do the things I use to do...even when I shower...I have to rest to proceed to get dressed

  • I can understand your frustration. I'm not a lawyer, but did produce the video. It isn't as much begging, but there is a set process to follow when you go into any court. SSD hearings are no different....gotta follow the rules. That's why it can be very helpful to have a lawyer so they make sure you are going by the set rules so you get the benefits you deserve.

  • SOUNDS LIKE A PERSON HAS TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE POWERS THAT BE , TO GET CONSIDERATION IN THEIR CASE? HAHAHA I'M NOT BEGGING ANYONE FOR ANYTHING ANYMORE, IF I CAN HELP IT.

  • I totally understand this: walking to the store and coming home and taking medication for the pain. This is pitiful that we can be in so much pain. :(

  • @609Blondebomb I'm so glad you appreciated this video. It is amazing the toll pain can have on our lives!
