@MrNukedDuck Sonic X was originally based on the Sonic Adventure cause it first aired in 2003. And my favourite would be a tie between Tails, Knuckles or Blaze.

great video dude. and as for game reviewers' perceptions of shadow the hedgehog, ill just say that people are overally critical nowadays. i personally think the game is great, which; using IGN's rating system, would equal an 8.0-8.6.

my only problem with it is that its pretty flawed in certain aspects.

i like sonic adventure 1 over sonic adventure 2 mainly because of all the gameplay styles in adventure 2 felt like a downgrade speed stages were linear and slow shooting stages were slower and clunkier and treasure hunting was frustrating i also like sonic adventure 1 more because you weren't forced to play as the other characters to get to the sonic gameplay

Man this is good. I can't say much about Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. But I don't need to say anymore on how much I HATE Sonic Heroes, and Love Shadow the Hedgehog. Nice job!

Here are my opinions. Sonic Adventure is epic win, Sonic Adventure 2 kicks major ass, Sonic Heroes is greatness, and Shadow the Hedgehog is awesome.

While i'm at it, i'll just say this. I like 3D Sonic the most. The action, the stories (mainly in the Adventure duology and the most recent 3D games like Colours), the gameplay, the characters, the wide open, explorable worlds and levels, it's all there! The 2D games are good, too, but they don't appeal to me as much.

Keep it up! =D On Sonic X-Treme, as I recall, its cancellation was more due to the development team becoming short-handed with more and more people dropping out and the Sonic Team being busy developing NiGHTS for the Saturn. X-Treme indirectly lead to the creation of Sonic 3D, Sonic R and Sonic Fighters. Also, yes, the Saturn bombed in the west but was actually fairly succesful in Japan.

Great job on covering the Dreamcast/Gamecube era games.

The Sonic Adventure games were brilliant, Sonic Heroes was a decent effort and words can't describe how epic Shadow the Hedgehog was. =D

Sonic Adventure DX is great, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is AWESOME, Sonic Heroes had it's moments and was decent at best, and I don't even need to say how much I love Shadow the Hedgehog.

BTW Mark you ever played the Sonic Riders games?

@Shadsilvson11 I've only played the first one. Didn't enjoy it much but the levels were pretty sweet. I have yet to try out the second, and I don't have an Xbox 360 or Kinect so I can't try out the third one.

@Zookstar1000 Well to me the first Sonic Riders was really bad with frustrating mechanics and cheating AI. The second game was an improvement with better gravity mechanics, but still wasn't too addicting. Never played Free Riders (don't think I ever will either).

Also I know you said next part was the last one but did you have any plans on discussing the handheld Sonic games?

@Shadsilvson11 not really. The only handheld Sonic game I ever played was Sonic Rivals 2. The next part will start from Sonic Next Gen to Sonic Colors.

I like SA1 over SA2 because Sonic Adventure feals like something made for the classic series in 3D. SA2 did the same thing but add something diffrent this time. I'm not saying I don't like SA2 but I just like the 1st game better even if the Big fishing levels are there.

Big really should have been cut from the game. I have nothing against the character or anything, but his gameplay was rubbish and he had almost no involvement in the overall plot.
