once again, Floyd is 100% CORRECT !! Floyd is spot on. Pacquaio should take his advice and dump Arum. Manny makes chump change compared to Floyd and that's just facts. Floyd spends his money in America while Manny evades taxes in his own country. He's currently under investigation for tax fraud back home. In regards to fighter of the decade, the boxing writers gave it to Manny simply out of spite against Floyd. They hate that this uneducated black man is the smartes guy alive in boxing.
... Only one impressed by fraud in the whole room is the monkey in the red cap. Fraud is natural ignorant, appearing symptomatic from traumatic brain injury (TBI) this sad fool's candle burns at both ends.
n an effort to realize this MEGA FIGHT between Pac & Floyd, Pac & his camp is offering Floyd a 70/30 split of the PPV revenue w/the 70% to winner & the 30% to the loser for this FIGHT .
This is just a FAIR & REASONABLE deal for this two Fighters to resist. Whoever against this clearly indicate the one who really DODGE this fight.
one long ass explanation, and didn't explain shit all..
no one is saying everyone can do what you do floyd. we know you're a great fighter..
but to be the very BEST fighter you have to fight the best out there. and manny is right there with you. we want to see who is the best fighter, so does manny, BUT , do you want to see who is the best fighter..?
@del690 Hey, im not belittling what mayweather has done to his opponents, he has great tactics. Say what you will, I think(and many, many others) Manny will break his streak, which is why this fight aint gonna happen.
@zinowor; Slow start? Pac had the WBC 112lb title when he was 19yrs old? Pac had a slow start because he had a really bad loss after winning the 112lb title and also he wasn't on a big fight card until 2001. Pac might be the first [all time great] to come out of no where? Most All Time Greats, regardless their origins... have an either stellar or noticeable amateur career to foreshadow a possible great professional career. I believe this is what Floyd's trying to articulate.
@zinowor; Maybe I don't understand your question. Pac started fighting at 16yrs of age with what appears to be a limited amateur background and yet he still won a WBC title within 3yrs. I guess you could call winning a major title in 3yrs, just starting out.
@dlogan1616 Mayweather is giving Pacquiao flak for not having a more promising amateur career with which he seems to imply that Pacquiao is indeed doing something fishy (steroids etc.) But I'm saying that during Pac's amateur career he didnt have all the luxury that Floyd did, in fact he was malnourished during those days and even when turning pro.
And dude, no he didnt start out by winning a WBC title. That question I asked you was sarcastic and rhetorical.
@zinowor yeah and hes on about his power coming from no where. if you look at all the famous boxers wiv power they have at 19 20 nt all all the sudden when you get a new trainer . urine tests are easy to get around , you can take steroids with another supplement and it wont show . where as the ol style blood test is fool proof .
@zinowor; Mayweather is entitled to his opinion whether it's right or wrong. Yes, Pac is one of the few "All Time Greats" to be relatively unknown before his enormous bloom in the sport. I'm not sure about the whole malnourished thing; that's very hard to prove or dispute; Floyd has stated himself, that he also weighed 106 when he was 16yrs old, so you can't assume they were both malnourished, can you?
@dlogan1616 Pacquiao himself said he was malnourished when he started boxing, because he didnt have enough food. Which is why Pac started boxing in the first place. Floyd did not have this problem. And it's perfectly normal to develop more power when you're finished growing, especially when you have a background like Pac. Im not saying that's exactly what happened, but it's more plausible then just yelling "STEROIDS!!! STEROIDS!!!" all the time.
@zinowor; I think both scenarios sound equally plausible. I've been watching boxing over 30yrs and Floyd is not the first to ask for testing outside the commissions practices. Comparing the other examples, Pac is the first I've seen turn down a fight over testing.
@spyph; Yawn! Oh, it's the lying and sporadic boxing fan again. You don't know boxing very much and you try & twist and falsify small instances in boxing, just to win an argument. Arum offered Floyd the Margarito fight before the Judah fight; Mosley and Floyd had an 18day cut-off; two of your recent lies. I'm bored with your lying, your lack of knowledge or maybe just your ignorance. Try & debate with someone that doesn't know boxing and maybe you'll begin to re-build your self-esteem.
@spyph; I've read it; how can you possibly call someone a moron and say maybe you could be wrong about the statements you were compelled to call someone a moron for? The USADA testing for Mayweather-Mosley, was comprised of FOUR blood tests... Mosley & Floyd had their 3rd random blood test 18 & 19 days before the fight but they each had their 4th blood test after the fight, May 1st. This info is on USADA's site! Before you mindlessly call someone else a moron, get all your facts in order first.

@zinowor; Fishy; in 2009, Pac wouldn't do OSDT but Pac was able to counter offer a drug testing arrangement of his own. Pac said he would take the 4 tests if they were scheduled... * At the beginning of training camp, * Followed by 30days, * followed by 3wks * and after the fight. Sounds fair but it's also much easier to pass a drug test when you know the schedule of the test. Pac was scared to test via OSDT but he wasn't scared to test when it's scheduled?? Sounds very fishy to me!
@BoxingBeIle; I’m sure you are one of the wealthiest trailer park trash, Hill Billy Sodomites of your county. That 3rd grade education sure took you a long way and helped you get a mobile home with two doors, woohoo! You’re so ignorant; you probably categorize anyone with a tanned complexion as being a nig**r. Try not to spend any more nights in the tank where big black Bubba Ray likes to stick&move that rich milky white ass.
@BoxingBeIle; You're a disgusting racist but I understand how you feel. If I were also raped in the county jail by a big ugly black man, I'd be a racist too!! I have sympathy for how sore and hurt you must feel.
why does pactards always have to say the word 'gay' all the time?? lmao I think they are the gays, wishing mayweather to be gay, so they can have their faggie fantasies hahaha XD damn
He pronounces business like a nigga on the streets but he knows contracts, licenses, merchandise. Please, just another loud mouth nig that will be broke after boxing.
@kalmykdude u should do ur research before u continue ur shit talking. floyd, unlike majority of the celebrities, is a business man. "just another loud mouth nig"? thats u except ur a fucking faggot
@optimusman88 all right, let's do the research. Were did he graduate and what did he specialize in? Oh,no where because he uneducated! But he's a businessman, obviously you graduated from the same place. Research done!
funny he dont want to give pac a pay per view share? what a funny joke from money the face. Do you think he can raise those sale if pac is not his opponent? the funny joke of sports, lol
money offers pac $40M with no pay per view, you cannot raise those money if pac's is not your opponent. previouse fight pac's produce more money than you.
1 minute im scared of needles , the nxt when i give blood it makes me weaker , the nxt fuck im over it im willing to take the test . A honest person never changes there story .
@BIGJAK87 Well it seems Floyd was more of a sincere person by saying this: I want random testing 14 days cut off, when Pac agreed w/this, he changed it to up to d day of d fight, he said Pac was next then deny it later after Pac reiterated that ODST is no more an issue. He asked Pac 2 arrange his business first. Now that he called Pac, d 50/50 that was not an issue on 2010, now he changed it to 60/40 or no 50/50 split, he now ask Pac to leave Arum, then will ask Pac to drop d defamation case...
@AHMED7864LYF It's a joke! They are both shit scared of each other........they dont want to lose their reputations and money power. In the old days pride came into it....and all this ducking is why boxing is losing fans to MMA.....and I hate that because I love boxing. Maywether mayaswell drop the dreug test and take the GH and EPO the pacmans been taking......it would be an easy win for floyd as he is far more skillfull. It's such a shame thats pacs not clean,as this is the no1 fight in boxing.
@AHMED7864LYF You are a fucking retarded if you honestly believe that. Manny can't even manage to beat Marquez without paying judges off. Floyd will destroy Manny/HGH steroid abusing ass.
hello pussy floyd I feel sorry to you, you scared to pacman ! you put your self like one of the best in sports, like michael jordan? c`mon pussy floyd you are such a big pussy to all black good people. you talked like a crying lady.hahahhah STOP RUNNING !
Fans of boxing this is not about who makes the most money it's about who is the better fighter. They both don't care if they fight each other or not. They are both happy with their careers and both men are not perfect Pacquiao does not have a perfect record, Mayweather does not have a good attitude, Pacquiao can't beat Marquez without the judges, and Mayweather backs up too much in the ring.
I love floyd , hes my favorite fighter but come on. Hes gotta be one of the dumbest people ALIVE. You dont just turn 25 n become good? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Only 98% of ALL athletes werent great from start to finish they BECAME GOOD, its called perserverence. Fuckin idiot.
well, he didnt say it like that, he said you can tell at a young age if someone WILL BECOME great one day, and he probably never heared of pacman when he was young
Manny Pacquiao; it's called learning from mistakes, that is why MP is achieving at the current moment. 50/50 on the purse, but FMW wants the PPV revenues, which is around 200 million. FMW wants the extra money for the extra ass kicking. MP lands and throws two-three times as much as FMW does. FMW, you should know your basic mathematics instead of being concerned about zeros.
The big difference between Manny Pacquiao and Floydie ''coiward'' Gayweather is very obvious!
If MP loss a fight, his legacy will stand and his 8 world championship title is almost impossible to break.
Well Floydie on the other hand when loss a single fight, his legacy will fall like the twin tower. He might be the best defensive and very skillful fighter but he will fall from the list of one of the best. Floydie will become just a great fighter and soon be forgotten.
Upon asking Manny Pac about May 5th, he said "Uhh i am going to retire, couple more fights & Im done" What happened? I thought he was the Philippine hero? Sounds like he is having steroid withdrawals 2 me.
@spyph When did he deny saying that? The footage I have seen is him confirming that he said Pac is next? But Bob Arum won't fight in May so FMJ had no choice but to fight somebody else. Then again, FMJ would not agree to a 50/50 split anyway so they are both as bad as each other.
@spyph Looking at the footage, it doesn't surprise me at all. I don't know which side are bigger liars, what I do know is that FMJ fought Ortiz as preparation for Pac on May 5th and the plan was to fight Pac next, if that footage was taken after the announcement of the Cotto fight then he's probably trying to defend that decision now. Regardless, Bob Arum is the reason the fight isn't hapenning.
@The21stDynasty Steroid withdrawals? Keeps on dreaming & imagining man. Was this Floyd & minion could only do in regards to fighting Pac, suspecting Pac outside the ring.
While the lesser fighters such as what Floyd termed as LEFT OVERS was more willing to slug it out w/Pac, this SELF PROCLAIMED BEST was so OVER PROTECTIVE of DEFENDING HIMSELF ALL THE time to Pac.
I'll hope Floyd could defend himself as well INSIDE THE COURT to clear his PED allegations w/Pac.
@The21stDynasty If Floyd was so hesitant to fight Pac w/the this unproven PED accusation on Pac, what more if he will know that Pac was truly free of this accusation & 100% natural.
Its so ignorant & treacherous for him to dismiss the accomplishment of Pac w/c he himself had accomplished ahead of Pac. Remember they were in one time 106 at same age of 16 & had travel the same route all the way to SWW.
If he really want to prove he is better than Pac, just FIGHT HIM INSIDE THE RING.
@spyph Dre, U r entirely correct, Pac had faced more formidable, bigger, stronger & big named opponents in this WW Div in compared to d opponents Floyd faced on the same Div. Pac had better record of DISMANTLING this WW opponents compared to FM OUTCLASSING his WW opponents.
But its also a FACT that Floyd had some big named & competitive opponents in the lighter division like Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales in SFW, Jose Luis Castillo, Phillip Ndou in LW, Demarcus Corley in LWW.
@DROC1474; 1.) You are right; Pac has staged some upsets but the unbalance on his accomplishments and the dismissal of Floyd’s accomplishments seem so overly bias, it compels me to openly speak on such matters. I've seen every Pac fight shown on TV and I’ve seen 85% of Floyd’s fights. I hear and see too many people saying things about Floyd that are either arbitrary or completely untrue. As for Pac, he gets more credit than he deserves most times
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Example, Bradley is one of the first fights I’ve seen Pac fight in a long time where he hasn’t had the major upper hand. If Pac beats Bradley, I don’t care what anyone has to say… That will be one of his greatest victories in my book.
@dlogan1616 Dude, are you saying that Pac had a major upper hand on DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito when he face them?
As far as i know, few gave Pac a chance of sharing the ring w/DLH, even Barrera (DLH promoted fighter) called it a circus match, EM was quoted on saying that Pac will have a hard fight w/Hatton, lots were giving Pac's chance if he could handle the punches of legit blown WW in Cotto, Teddy Atlas was quoted on saying Clottey was a dangerous live opponent for Pac.
@DROC1474; 1.) Floyd had been calling Oscar out since 05 so you basically can say he was in Pac’s shoes as far as the weight is concerned. In-addition, Oscar was at his natural weight and had 10lbs on Floyd; Oscar chose the Ring Size and the type of boxing glove Floyd would wear in their match. I would say Floyd stepped up big time; even more than Pac did! Why should Floyd Face Martinez at 160lbs when Pac won’t face Cotto at 150lbs?
@dlogan1616 First of all, i want to clarify that i don't criticize the CW fights of DLH, B-hop, & even SR Leonard, what i found unreasonable was the unfair criticism of Pac on this CW fights w/Cotto & Marga.
You are comparing Floyd fight DLH w/c had a diff. of 7 pds, its WW vs. SWW (right?), while Pac need to move up from a certified SFW fighting a legit SWW at 147 weight limit, its a diff. of 17 pds. based on weight Div.
@dlogan1616 Now if we exchange Floyd who is in SFW & was called by DLH in SWW, do you think Floyd will fight him at 154?
Now i rephrase the question, was Floyd willing to fight Sergio at his Div. weight of 160, w/ a diff. of 13 pds. on his Floyd WW weight?
You can't equate Pac can't fight Cotto at 150 while Floyd can fight him at 154 since Floyd is the bigger guy & it seemed you forgot Pac professionally started at the lowest weight rank of 106 while Floyd prof. started at 130.
@DROC1474; 2.) First off, I don’t consider Margarito an [A level] boxer. The only decent fighter Margarito ever beat without being suspected of cheating was Clottey, in-which Clottey hurt both hands during that fight. Baldomir was better than Margarito and I say that because Baldomir had more boxing skill than Margarito. Really! I mean who has Margarito beaten without being suspected of cheating? He's suspected of cheating with Cintron and Cintron is a C-Level fighter.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for Margarito’s disadvantages… he was recently KO’d in his last fight; Inactive for 1yr and he was no longer able to make the 147lb limit. Plus he sucked! Mayorga beat all the same guys Margarito beat at 147. I think Mayorga was better than Margarito! Mayorga certainly accomplished more than Margarito!
@DROC1474; 3.) I have established, that if you need to ask whether a Catch-Weight will have any disadvantageous effects on a fighter… You’ve never been in the ring before or in a sport where a weight limit is required or you haven’t been watching boxing very long. Even Cotto has stated, that we won’t sacrifice his body again. Do you know how hard it is to lose muscle. It took me a month in a half to lose 10lbs of muscle while I was remaining fit.
@dlogan1616 Dude, Cotto don't loose 10 pds on his CW fight w/Pac, if U will review back their respective ave. weight on prev. 5 fights b4 they face each other, Pac was 134.7 while Cotto was 146.55 w/a diff. of 11.85.
Furthermore, Cotto was used 2 fighting legit full blown WW fighters b4 Pac, while Pac on d other hand was used 2 fighting SFW fighters & Cotto was his 1st real full blown WW opponent in that Div.
CW was designed as an EVEN/FAIR PLAYING FIELD 2 avoid weight mismatches.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Example, See how much stronger Devon Alexander looked at 147 and how his body looked? Imagine if Devon’s last opponent gave Devon a Catch-Weight stipulation of 138lbs? If there were no advantage why would Pac ask for a CW?
Catch-weights don’t have as much effect on a younger fighters or a fighter that’s already small for their respective weight division.
@dlogan1616 I don't discredit Devon Alexander winnings on WW but ds is uncomparable to Pac. Devon fought Marcos Maidana at the Div. they are first. Both of them was Naturally LWW before this fight.
Pac on d other hand maybe said a LWW fighter fighting already a full blown WW in Cotto, Clottey, Margarito & Mosley.
If JMM was allowed 2 have a CW fight w/Floyd at 144, why Pac can't w/Cotto at 145?
JMM was more bigger than Pac, Remember again JMM starts at Featherweight, Pac at FW.
@dlogan1616 I don't discredit Devon Alexander winnings on WW but ds is uncomparable to Pac. Devon fought Marcos Maidana at the Div. they are first. Both of them was Naturally LWW before this fight.

@DROC1474; 4.) Do you think Leonard is considered great for his victory over Lalonde. When people talk about Leonard they don’t need to mention Lalonde. Plus Lalonde was no Cotto! Lalonde is only good for Leonard’s highlight film! Leonard would be ranked the same in the all-time great category if he had never faced Lalonde at all. Lalonde didn't make Leonard's career! Winky not Taylor, was the one to have a CW fight with Hopkins and of course, Oscar as well.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Hopkins is a whole different subject. Hopkins will never truly get the credit he deserves. Hopkins shouldn’t have even been fighting at 160lbs as long as he did! Cotto and Margarito can’t even put their Jock-straps in Hopkins briefcase! Hopkins was pretty much his own boss and he stipulated those catch-weights himself. Hopkins is Amazing!
@DROC1474; 5.) Everyone thought Leonard would beat Terri Norris. Norris-Leonard is the same scenario as Pacquiao-De La Hoya. Hatton looked worse after his loss to Floyd in his next two fights, plus Hatton was as tailor made for Pac as Frazier was tailor made for Foreman. Pac did not have any advantages over Clottey but that’s really not saying much; Clottey lost to Baldomir, albeit at an earlier time. Clottey didn't hit all that hard either.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Pac-Barrera I, was a huge win. I actually picked Pac to win that fight. I remember Max Kellerman saying Barrera would win. Yep, you’re right, a lot of people said Clottey was a live opponent. I remember explaining to my uncle why Pac would beat Clottey decidedly. As for Cotto, I was very unsure who’d win, but I remember being unhappy about the catch-weight stipulation. I felt Cotto had already been in 2 wars; why should a CW be required?
@dlogan1616 Now you are saying that Floyd had an upcoming fights w/Saul Alvarez & Sergio Martinez for MONEY & LEGACY, do you really think that Floyd will fight this guys in their weight.
As far i remember, Ellerbe was quoted in saying they don't believe in Catchweight thing but his Prize Fighter Floyd was in contrast saying that if SM can go down at 150, there will be a fight between them.
Was Floyd willing to surpass d FEAT that Pac had accomplished? we'll see that soon., maybe?
@dlogan1616 Pac faced Margarito w/a disadvantage in height, reach & a 17 pds difference at fight night.
Floyd & his minions can criticize Pac on this catchweight fight but was he the inventor of this CW fights. Way b4 Pac fight on CW, Floyd was ahead of him by fighting JMM in CW, DLH had a CW fight w/Bernard Hopkins in MWD, B-Hop had twice CW fights w/Jermain Taylor in SMW Div, even the great Sugar Ray Leonard had a CW fight w/Donny Lalonde in Light Heavyweight Div.
@dlogan1616 Now going back to this 2 CW fights of Pac in WW & SWW, was this fighters in Cotto & Margarito had really a disadvantage in fighting Pac on this respective fights.
If you will analyze properly, Cotto was ave. 146 pds on his prev. 5 fights b4 facing Pac & Pac was almost ave. in a LW weight b4 he face Cotto. Cotto was even 146 on his fight w/Clottey & was used to fighting legit full blown WW, while Pac on the other hand was used to fight in SFW year b4 he fight Cotto.
@dlogan1616 Now regarding d case of Margarito, he was used 2 fight in WW & ave. 147 b4 he face Pac. Why would it become disadvantage 2 Tony fighting Pac who came 144.5 on d scale on their CW fight? Why it became weight drained for Tony when the FACT & TRUTH that Tony was only 145.75 on his WW fight w/Mosley whom was considered the defining victory of Shane b4 he face Floyd?
U are correct Bradley was a dangerous solid opponent 4 Pac, this was d same remarks 2 Pac b4 he face his prev. opponents.
@dlogan1616 Now if we turn the situation & put Floyd on Pac's shoe when DLH asked Pac to be his partner. Will he be willing to step to the plate w/c from SFW will rise to WW & fight DLH at the said weight?
Now if Pac called out the legit LW fighters in Rios, JMM, or even the likes of future prospect in Broner in SFW & Yuriorkis Gamboa in FW, will they rise to the same plate that Pac had done in fighting DLH at 147?
@DROC1474; 2.) Does Floyd need Pac more than Pac needs Floyd? Honestly I think Pac needs Floyd more! I think Pac needs Floyd more for Legacy and I think Pac needs Floyd more for money. Pac was so willing to walk away from Floyd because Pac thought he could get a rematch with Cotto; that’s my belief. I know all about $25mil guarantee (rumor) for Bradley but honestly, I seriously doubt Pac will get that.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for my legacy theory… Floyd was already an establish great and HOF before Pac beat Oscar or Hatton. The way I have seen some of Ali’s victories scrutinized along with other past boxers... It’s so much easier to scrutinize Pacquiao’s career. In my Opinion Pac needs Floyd to solidify his legacy b/c I don’t believe his catch-weight fights at WW will be enough. Sorry but I’m just being honest.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for the Money… well, Pac has kinda established that he’s unwilling to face fighters above 148. Pac can face Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz or maybe even Khan etc. but it wont fair close in a monetary comparison to Floyd facing Alvarez or Sergio Martinez (if Floyd gets past Cotto.)
@dlogan1616 Pac can futurely face Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz, Khan, Berto or even JMM 4. You are correct , it may not hit the monetary figures that will be generated in fighting Floyd but Pac will fight this guys for LEGACY & would surely produce an EXCITING, EXPLOSIVE, NON STOP COMBUSTION Fights ahead to the outcome that will be generated in the HIT, DODGE or RUN tactic of Floyd in fighting Alvarez or Sergio.
@DROC1474; 3.) As for all this endorsement and live gate talk… this is what I know; Pac made maybe, $27mil at most for his fight with JMM which was the most Pac had made to date. Floyd made $22mil guaranteed for Mosley and $25mil guaranteed for Ortiz. Pac pays Arum something like 37% of his earnings. Floyd doesn’t pay Arum 37% of his earnings. Floyd’s 1.4mil PPV buys for Mosley were the Official numbers. Pac-Mosley’s 1.3mil PPV is the Unofficial number.
@DROC1474; 4.) I thought I already explained to you what a [site fee] is. Most big fights will take on [Bids] which pertain to a site fee. Several venues may bid on a fight because of the potential business (money) the fight can bring. This is why in most cases Las Vegas will outbid most venues. The whole thing about Arum bringing up the gate was a sham. Now days, more money is made in the site fee than the actual gate.
@DROC1474; 5.) Do I think Floyd will get his $50mil guarantee elsewhere? Rumor has it, Floyd made over $40mil for Mosley & Ortiz. Floyd should make the same for Cotto! I think Floyd could possibly get a $50mil guarantee for Alvarez. I'm pretty sure Floyd can probably get $50mil guaranteed for Sergio. Mayweather-Martinez would have a killer story for promotion. I'm not saying Alvarez or Sergio would sell more PPV than Pac-Floyd but I think Floyd could get his $50mil in those 2 fights.
@DROC1474; 6.) Pac will be getting his biggest guaranteed purse of $25 million in fighting Bradley? Again, I seriously doubt it; Pac wanted $25mil guaranteed for Pac-JMM IV; I doubt he’ll “actually” receive $25mil guaranteed for Bradley. My question, how do you give a guarantee to a fighter when they have to give you 37% percent of their earnings? How does that work? The Dilemma... Pac has a higher chance of losing to Bradley than Floyd does to Cotto.
@DROC1474; 7.) How long have you been watching boxing for? Did you actually watch the Marquez-Katsidis fight? Do you know about everything that was behind the Katsidis fight; do you know what Katsidis was going through? I have reasons for thinking Marquez is on something and it's not a recent observation; it’s also not an arbitrary suspicion. As for EPO, etc. there are so many things out their now, that you can combine for different and or ultimate results.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) I already told you, Conte has his own agenda. Conte doesn’t want to be more hated than he already is, so he’s not going to say anything bad about Pac but when he says Floyd can possibly be on something b/c he came up from 130… Conte is just trying to send a message out to other fighters that if you let me (Victor Conte) into your camp, that somehow you’ll be more informed and more projected etc. That’s how Conte promotes himself.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) What effects are you talking about that Floyd is starting to show? Who knows whether Pac would’ve done better against the same Mitchell, Judah and or the same Baldomir, that Floyd faced… who knows? Pac didn’t face the same Oscar or Mosley Floyd faced. Foreman dominated all of Ali’s opponents and got KO’d by Ali. Yep, the rematch with Oscar didn’t happen in 08 b/c Floyd wanted a 50/50 split if that's what you're asking?
@dlogan1616 Pac didn't face the same Oscar of Mosley Floyd faced? Can you tell me dude, what is Great on Floyd's victory over this respective fighters compare to Pac's dismanting & dominating victories of Pac over them.
Floyd win VIA SD on DLH, while Pac upset, dominate in all rds & let DLH quit on his corner. Floyd got almost KD BY Mosley while Pac KD Mosley, the only similarity bet. Pac & Floyd on Mosley was they both dominate him. Pac in all rds while Floyd in 10 rds.
@DROC1474; 8.) In 2007 Cotto was a TopRank fighter under Arum. (In 2007) Why would Floyd fight Cotto over Hatton or Oscar When Arum was only offering Floyd $7mil to fight Cotto? I think Floyd made something like $22mil for Hatton. So many Floyd detractors want to blame Floyd for not fighting Cotto or Margarito but they don’t know boxing. Margarito lost to PW in 07 and only got his shot at Cotto because Arum likes to keep all his fights in-house.
@dlogan1616 Paul Williams should have d one facing Cotto in 2008? I don't think so. Paul Williams had lost unanimously 2 Carlos Quintana on early of 2008 & need 2 have a rematch w/him on June 2008. Marga on d other hand after loosing to PW have won convincingly via KO to his next 2 opponents.
If there is a fighter that needs 2 face Cotto that time in 2008, that should be Floyd himself, not PW nor Margarito.
He had d guts to choose VO, why he didn't do it aft. d Cotto/Gomez fight?
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Paul Williams should have been the one facing Cotto in 08, not Margarito... but sadly, Margarito got that fight and nearly ended Cotto’s career (via Cheating). Let's be fair and ask why Cotto didn't fight PW? Why didn't Cotto give Mosley a rematch when he arguably lost to Mosley? Incidentally, Oscar ducked Margarito if you need a clearer definition for ducking? Furthermore, Margarito was KO’d by Mosley when Floyd was still retired.
@dlogan1616 You keep asking ds WW fighters - why Cotto didn't have a rematch w/Mosley, why Cotto fight Marga & not PW, but d real question that need to raise is where is this Floyd on this time wherein he should be the one fighting this WW fighters?
Now when Pac enter d Div. Floyd would just criticize that Pac only fought in house fights w/Top Rank, i'll return d same remarks of him, when Floyd was in TR, why this fights never happened? Is it just really ARUM or partly w/him also?
@DROC1474; 1.) Floyd was retired during the time. How come the same question is never raised when Oscar took a similar hiatus from boxing? Within approximately 1yr Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley lost fights. Floyd couldn’t get a fight with Cotto because he was contracted with Arum. During the rematch negotiations for Floyd-Oscar II, Cotto was scheduled to fight Gomez in April. After Gomez, Cotto was immediately scheduled for Margarito in June 08.
@dlogan1616 Dude, sorry to quote your response here.. You keep on defending Floyd for not having fight the WW fIghters during his time for so many reasons & even comparing it to other great fighters out there for what like DLH did or this or that.
Now let's start w/Cotto after the Gatti fight, you confirmedly believe that again its Arum who stalled this fight or saying that Cotto was not yet ready that time for Floyd.
@dlogan1616 This not yet ready sound ridiculous for me, first of all how can we say that Cotto was not ready wherein fact Cotto prof. started at LWW & during that time up to the Gatti fight, MC was 20/24 (83%) via knock out to his opponents compared to Floyd 2/3 (67%) via knock out after the Gatti fight. By just looking at this record, we will able to analyze who pose a greater threat to respective fighters, are you saying that MC was threatened after he sees what Floyd had did to Gatti?
@dlogan1616 Now, on that time, was Floyd did all the necessary things to secure that fight? As comparing to what he had did to Pac for almost three tries already, its seems that Floyd was just had a habit of calling out fighters.
Arum stalled this fight (Cotto vs. Floyd on 2005) for what reason?
Dude, both of them r under TR that time, both r undefeated & have huge fan base, Bob would surely get all d economical rewards since he managed both of them so are you saying Bob still stall ds fight.
@dlogan1616 Now, haven't you see the pattern of Floyd lame excuses on not fighting this TR/non TR WW fighters, he is purposely pricing himself out of this fight like the case you mentioned in Cotto & Margarito for some time that was given for him to fight them.
Dude, the present showing of Floyd to Pac just manifested & confirmed his true intentions for dodging this fights. Now you will say, how about now Floyd was more willing to face Cotto? well its a diff. Cotto he should have face on 2008.
@dlogan1616 I'll repeat it again, i don't discredit Floyd's victories from SFW up to LWW, the only thing that didn't escape on my attention are Floyd's reason for not fighting right away this legit WW fighters that would further solidify his greatness in this WW Div.
You see, he called out Mosley when he was still in SFW or LW, if that is really genuine, the moment Floyd step to that WW Div, he should have chased Mosley or even his 1st fight on that Div. Now he fight Mosley 5 yrs. after.
@dlogan1616 Dude, its pretty obvious Floyd was avoiding to fight this WW fighters who have a threat of knocking him out on the time this WW fighters was at their best.
Now you will said that Floyd defeat Mosley since that was his best performance for beating Marga but you are saying Marga was even not a great or even class c fighter in your assessment. How about Mosley defeat Marga at his lowest weight in his scale at WW at 145.75 & mentally distracted even b4 the fight start.
@dlogan1616 Floyd defeat Mosley who was inactive 4 more than a year (last fight was jan of 2009), & may have been overtrained since he was already training 4 his supposed fight w/Berto, or lets say the added rigid random testing instituted on him may have physical effect on his 38 yrs of age.
Dude, 2 make it clear, Pac didn't raise any negative comments on Floyd (in fact he praise & prays 4 him), its Floyd who had so many untoward, prejudice, racial, & derogatory remarks towards against Manny.
@dlogan1616 Now going back to the reason of Floyd not fighting Cotto, Marga or even other non TR WW bec. of your reason of Boxing is also a business, was this really the main excuse?
Floyd claimed himself the BEST, if that is true, why he need to retire twice w/in a span of three years? Now when he UNRETIRE, he would opt to fight fighters who don't have enough experience on his WW Div in d case of JMM & VO.
DLH was diff from Floyd in terms of inactivity. DLH was loosing while FM was winning.
@dlogan1616 Now in terms of Floyd fighting Pac, was this fight more of a LEGACY or Money for Floyd.
Floyd maybe an established HOF for the reason of his UNDEFEATED record while he is not the only UNDEFEATED fighter in boxing, there are others who had this same distinction of no loss in their career like Rocky Marciano, Joe Calzaghe, Julio Cezar Chavez Jr & even the young lion in Saul Alvarez.
Pac was on the other league of having the lone distinction of having 8 Weight Div Champ on his belt.
@dlogan1616 Now Floyd who boast the complete set of skills & even claimed Pac was an easy work was taking almost two years now for not making this FAIR fight for the biggest payday of his life.
If you r criticizing Pac walking away from d biggest payday of his life 4 d guaranteed $40 million that Floyd was offering (how sure are you that Arum don't have the 37% cut on this amt.), how about Floyd loosing d possibility of minimum $100 million on ds MEGA fight, seemed not a good bus. move 4 Floyd.
@dlogan1616 Floyd & Pac may have the same weight at 106 at age 16 but does not justify that they physically the same. Isn't it Floyd himself called Manny little fella? Floyd currently physically bigger than Manny at this point of their career. Have you seen Pac weighed 147 on the scale on his WW fights? His highest was 145.
Now if we apply what Pac had did (jumping from SFW to WW) to the present notable SFW fighters now, do U realistically think that they will fight this legit WW at 147 limit?
@dlogan1616 Now in regards 2 Devon, he is from LWW, but did he fight a legit WW fighter upon entering this Div? U r applying a diff. conclusion since he fight also a former LWW in Maidana who happens also his 1ST fight in WW.
If indeed Devon fight d experienced full blown WW fighter on d div. ds might produce a diff. conclusion/outcome of d fight.
Cotto can't fight Pac at 147 not bec. he don't want 2 sacrifice his body (again?) 4 Pac but he knows Pac would not be effective in 150 pds. fight.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As I explained to Spyph? Floyd was trying to get a fight with Cotto in 05 & 06 through Top Rank. In 05 & 06 Arum said the fight wasn’t ready; Arum said it needed to be bigger. Floyd originally wanted Cotto after the Judah fight but Arum was offering $7mil guaranteed for Cotto and $8mil guaranteed for Margarito. Floyd wanted $10mil for Cotto. Floyd said he ended up making over $12mil for Baldomir after the PPV.

Floyd said he ended up making over $12mil for Baldomir after the PPV.
@DROC1474; 2.) Isn’t it ironic how I can purposely ask a pointless question about Cotto facing PW in 2008 and you'll do your research but when it comes to asking the same pointless questions about Floyd you don’t do the research. I’ve known all along PW lost to Quintana in early 08. I’m a boxing fan; I watched both fights; I watch almost all the fights!
@DROC1474; (Cont.) After seeing it revealed how Arum does business, you honestly still believe Floyd could have gotten that fight with Cotto over Margarito?? Arum lied so much not to have Floyd and Pac fight in 5/5/12… it wasn’t until the Split issue that Arum no longer had to lie! Why didn’t Cotto give Mosley a rematch? Cotto arguably lost that fight; I had Mosley winning that fight and many others might agree. That's a pointless question b/c maybe the rematch might've happened later?
@DROC1474; 3.) Again! When Oscar faced Floyd, Oscar was at his natural weight, he had 10lbs on Floyd; Oscar chose the Ring Size and Gloves Floyd had to wear; Oscar was younger. When Mosley faced Floyd, Mosley came off 2 great victories, Mosley was younger; Mosley had no injuries. Mosley looked great in his last 3 fights! Be honest; do you really believe Floyd beat Oscar via SD? Seriously; Floyd was almost KD by Mosley. Pac was almost KD by Marquez in their 2nd fight; so what!
@DROC1474; (Cont.) It would be pointless for me to say Pac was KD by Mosley; technically it’s true, but it’s pointless to mention. Oscar looked Sloppy against Forbes at a 150lb CW. When Oscar faced Pac, he looked completely dehydrated in his fight with Pac; even Roach admitted this. Again; Leonard-Norris!! Mosley was older when he faced Pac and he looked bad in his last 2bouts. Mosley also suffered an achilles injury before his fight with Pac.
@DROC1474; 4.) If Pac beats Bradley, let’s see if Pac can even become motivated by the likes of Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz, Khan, Berto etc. I wonder if the fans would be motivated by a JMM 4 fight? Run tactic of Floyd fighting Alvarez or Sergio; that’s funny. What was Pac doing against JMM in their 3rd fight, b/c it didn’t look very Explosive to me. The way Leonard beat Hagler is considered a boxing clinic but with Floyd it’s a run tactic? I can tell you don’t love the Sweet Science.
@DROC1474; 5.) I think Floyd would possibly fight Alvarez at his natural weight but Floyd is very small; Floyd walks around at 150. I don’t know whether he will or whether he won’t face Martinez at 160 but if Martinez comes down to 155 or 150, it will be entirely Sergio’s choice. Leonard and Hagler met at a CW of 158 and Leonard has a bigger physique than Floyd. SRR and Armstrong faced bigger guys than Pac. On a championship level SRR began at 130 and faced opponents’ at 175.
@DROC1474; 6.) Again I repeat! If there were no advantage why would Pac ask for a CW? Catch-weights don’t have as much effect on a young fighter or a fighter that’s already small for their respective weight division. Cotto was neither! There comes a point when a fighter is killing themselves to make the weight; this is why I gave you the example of Devon Alexander. Your 146.55 is pointless… e.g. I seriously doubt PW could have remained a WW through 2009.
@DROC1474; 7.) Considering Floyd was calling Oscar out when he was at 135lbs; Possibly yes! How are you going to make an excuse for Pac fighting a smaller Oscar and the same time, Crown him for beating up on a worn down dehydrated Oscar? Even that idiot, Skip Bayless doesn’t give Pac much credit for Oscar. Floyd weighed 106lbs when he was 16yrs old also; your point? As for night of weigh-ins… Floyd is only bigger than Pac by 2lbs. I’ve never seen Floyd weigh more than 150lbs.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) All this double standard talk! Floyd can fight Cotto at 154 b/c Floyd is bigger yet, Floyd is afraid to fight Pac at 147. How does that make sense… Pac is gonna kick Floyd’s but at 147 but Pac can’t fight Cotto at 150 but Floyd is able to fight Cotto at 154. I can’t help but laugh! It’s always like this! A double standard when it comes to Pac and Floyd.
@dlogan1616 You are saying that Cotto was already physically & mentally destroyed as a fighter. Isn't it Floyd had also issue this damaged good remarks on Cotto b4 his fight w/Pac? In this case, if Floyd knew Cotto physically & mentally finished after the Marga/Pac fights, why he need to face him?
Dude, don't get me wrong here, i don't believe in this damaged good/left over remarks of Floyd, i'm just showing you the double standard when it comes to Floyd.
@dlogan1616 Dude, there is no double standard in Pac can't fight Cotto at 150 comparing to Floyd fighting Cotto at 154. As ill say again Floyd was physically bigger than Manny at this point of time & that is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
Pac had fight Marga at 150, Pac maybe successful that time but his physical state paid that after that fight, he was confined to hospital days or even week aft that fight.
@dlogan1616 As again, Pac prof. starts at 106, & moving up & fighting Tony even at a CW fight at 150, left him 17 pds weight disadvantage in Fight Night where in Tony weighed 165 pds. Just imagine SR Robinson fighting Joey Maxim at LHW at 173.
Have U seen d diff. Pac of 106 to 165, that is 59 pds, compared to SRR 130 to 173, 43 pds diff, still there is a diff. of 16 pds regarding weight issue of ds great athletes.
Again, don't misled me on ds comparison, i myself still placed SRR ahead of Pac.
@DROC1474; 1.) Pac was 106 b/c he was only 16yrs old. If Floyd had started boxing pro at 16 he’d be 106. You shouldn't count the weight they had their first few fights at. You should count the weight they first began to face Ranked competition. Pac didn’t start facing ranked guys until 112lbs. Robinson was facing ranked guys at 130. Also don’t use the “night of “ weigh-in when using SRR as a gauge; Keep it at 154 b/c Pac didn’t fight for the middleweight title.
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Henry Armstrong won the WW title only weighing 126lbs. He nearly defended the WW title for 2yrs while only weighing in at 126lbs. Also why do so many people find that it’s credible to defend Pac by saying he used to weigh 106? First of all he maybe fought 6 fights at 106 and more importantly, Did he weigh 106 the night he fought Margarito? Was Margarito even close to being as good as Oscar was at 154?
@DROC1474; 2.) You completely missed my point on the double standard. Floyd fights Marquez who’s basically the same size as Pac but Floyd detractors give Floyd no credit for that fight. How is Floyd scared to fight Pac when Floyd is fighting Cotto at 154 when Pac won’t even fight Cotto at 150? Nevermind! If you didn’t get it the first time it’s pointless to bring it up!
@DROC1474; 3.) First off; did you watch the Judah-Baldomir fight? Have you watched Judah against Cory Spinks? Did you watch the Hatton fights after his loss to Floyd? I watched all those fights so it’s pointless to debate with someone if they haven't even seen those fights. The Hatton that fought Floyd looked like the same Hatton that beat Tyszu. Did you watch the Hatton-Lazcano fight? You honestly can say Judah looked the same for Baldomir as he looked for Floyd??

once again, Floyd is 100% CORRECT !! They hate that this uneducated black man is the smartes guy alive in boxing.

n an effort to realize this MEGA FIGHT between Pac & Floyd, Pac & his camp is offering Floyd a 70/30 split of the PPV revenue w/the 70% to winner & the 30% to the loser for this FIGHT .
This is just a FAIR & REASONABLE deal for this two Fighters to resist. Whoever against this clearly indicate the one who really DODGE this fight.

but to be the very BEST fighter you have to fight the best out there. and manny is right there with you. we want to see who is the best fighter, so does manny, BUT , do you want to see who is the best fighter..?

I'm not really too keen on Mayweather but I dont believe he is dodging Manny. I feel he would beat Pacman quite comfortably and maybe even stop him.

I dont know why this fight isnt going down but if it ever does, so will Manny.

@del690 Hey, im not belittling what mayweather has done to his opponents, he has great tactics. Say what you will, I think(and many, many others) Manny will break his streak, which is why this fight aint gonna happen.
BanglishBoy 3 days ago
Pacquiao had a slow start because he fought malnourished and poorly trained for a long time, he didnt have the luxury that Mayweather did growing up.
Floyd's logic about how Pacquiao suddenly became good is therefore bullshit and he probably knows it too.
zinowor 4 days ago
@zinowor; Slow start? Pac had the WBC 112lb title when he was 19yrs old? Pac had a slow start because he had a really bad loss after winning the 112lb title and also he wasn't on a big fight card until 2001. Pac might be the first [all time great] to come out of no where? Most All Time Greats, regardless their origins... have an either stellar or noticeable amateur career to foreshadow a possible great professional career. I believe this is what Floyd's trying to articulate.
dlogan1616 4 days ago
@dlogan1616 So you're saying that Pacquiao started out by winning a WBC title?
zinowor 4 days ago
@zinowor; The WBC was his first Major title and it was at 112lbs. Anything else like NABF, etc. isn't worth mentioning.
dlogan1616 3 days ago
@zinowor; Maybe I don't understand your question. Pac started fighting at 16yrs of age with what appears to be a limited amateur background and yet he still won a WBC title within 3yrs. I guess you could call winning a major title in 3yrs, just starting out.
dlogan1616 3 days ago
@dlogan1616 Mayweather is giving Pacquiao flak for not having a more promising amateur career with which he seems to imply that Pacquiao is indeed doing something fishy (steroids etc.) But I'm saying that during Pac's amateur career he didnt have all the luxury that Floyd did, in fact he was malnourished during those days and even when turning pro.
And dude, no he didnt start out by winning a WBC title. That question I asked you was sarcastic and rhetorical.
zinowor 3 days ago
@zinowor yeah and hes on about his power coming from no where. if you look at all the famous boxers wiv power they have at 19 20 nt all all the sudden when you get a new trainer . urine tests are easy to get around , you can take steroids with another supplement and it wont show . where as the ol style blood test is fool proof .
BIGJAK87 3 days ago
@zinowor; Mayweather is entitled to his opinion whether it's right or wrong. Yes, Pac is one of the few "All Time Greats" to be relatively unknown before his enormous bloom in the sport. I'm not sure about the whole malnourished thing; that's very hard to prove or dispute; Floyd has stated himself, that he also weighed 106 when he was 16yrs old, so you can't assume they were both malnourished, can you?
dlogan1616 3 days ago
@dlogan1616 Pacquiao himself said he was malnourished when he started boxing, because he didnt have enough food. Which is why Pac started boxing in the first place. Floyd did not have this problem. And it's perfectly normal to develop more power when you're finished growing, especially when you have a background like Pac. Im not saying that's exactly what happened, but it's more plausible then just yelling "STEROIDS!!! STEROIDS!!!" all the time.
zinowor 3 days ago
@zinowor; I think both scenarios sound equally plausible. I've been watching boxing over 30yrs and Floyd is not the first to ask for testing outside the commissions practices. Comparing the other examples, Pac is the first I've seen turn down a fight over testing.

I'm bored with your lying, your lack of knowledge or maybe just your ignorance. Try & debate with someone that doesn't know boxing and maybe you'll begin to re-build your self-esteem.

He asked Pac 2 arrange his business first. Now that he called Pac, d 50/50 that was not an issue on 2010, now he changed it to 60/40 or no 50/50 split, he now ask Pac to leave Arum, then will ask Pac to drop d defamation case...

Floydie will become just a great fighter and soon be forgotten.

where did you get that? do you really understand what you read?
How about FMJ saying " Pacquiao is next'' before the fight with VO but after the fight he said, '' I never said Pacquiao is next''
Which one do you really think PUSSY? Well if you have brain, maybe it is not hard to know!
spyph 2 weeks ago

FFXIHeat 2 weeks ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@The21stDynasty If Floyd was so hesitant to fight Pac w/the this unproven PED accusation on Pac, what more if he will know that Pac was truly free of this accusation & 100% natural.
Its so ignorant & treacherous for him to dismiss the accomplishment of Pac w/c he himself had accomplished ahead of Pac. Remember they were in one time 106 at same age of 16 & had travel the same route all the way to SWW.
If he really want to prove he is better than Pac, just FIGHT HIM INSIDE THE RING.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474
what accomplishments Floydie did before MP?
did floyd won 8 weight division belts as well?
Did floyd fought stronger and bigger opponents as well?
spyph 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 1.) You are right; Pac has staged some upsets but the unbalance on his accomplishments and the dismissal of Floyd’s accomplishments seem so overly bias, it compels me to openly speak on such matters. I've seen every Pac fight shown on TV and I’ve seen 85% of Floyd’s fights. I hear and see too many people saying things about Floyd that are either arbitrary or completely untrue. As for Pac, he gets more credit than he deserves most times
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Example, Bradley is one of the first fights I’ve seen Pac fight in a long time where he hasn’t had the major upper hand. If Pac beats Bradley, I don’t care what anyone has to say… That will be one of his greatest victories in my book.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 1.) Floyd had been calling Oscar out since 05 so you basically can say he was in Pac’s shoes as far as the weight is concerned. In-addition, Oscar was at his natural weight and had 10lbs on Floyd; Oscar chose the Ring Size and the type of boxing glove Floyd would wear in their match. I would say Floyd stepped up big time; even more than Pac did! Why should Floyd Face Martinez at 160lbs when Pac won’t face Cotto at 150lbs?
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 First of all, i want to clarify that i don't criticize the CW fights of DLH, B-hop, & even SR Leonard, what i found unreasonable was the unfair criticism of Pac on this CW fights w/Cotto & Marga.
You are comparing Floyd fight DLH w/c had a diff. of 7 pds, its WW vs. SWW (right?), while Pac need to move up from a certified SFW fighting a legit SWW at 147 weight limit, its a diff. of 17 pds. based on weight Div.
DROC1474 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 2.) First off, I don’t consider Margarito an [A level] boxer. The only decent fighter Margarito ever beat without being suspected of cheating was Clottey, in-which Clottey hurt both hands during that fight. Baldomir was better than Margarito and I say that because Baldomir had more boxing skill than Margarito. Really! I mean who has Margarito beaten without being suspected of cheating? He's suspected of cheating with Cintron and Cintron is a C-Level fighter.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for Margarito’s disadvantages… he was recently KO’d in his last fight; Inactive for 1yr and he was no longer able to make the 147lb limit. Plus he sucked! Mayorga beat all the same guys Margarito beat at 147. I think Mayorga was better than Margarito! Mayorga certainly accomplished more than Margarito!
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 3.) I have established, that if you need to ask whether a Catch-Weight will have any disadvantageous effects on a fighter… You’ve never been in the ring before or in a sport where a weight limit is required or you haven’t been watching boxing very long. Even Cotto has stated, that we won’t sacrifice his body again. Do you know how hard it is to lose muscle. It took me a month in a half to lose 10lbs of muscle while I was remaining fit.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Example, See how much stronger Devon Alexander looked at 147 and how his body looked? Imagine if Devon’s last opponent gave Devon a Catch-Weight stipulation of 138lbs? If there were no advantage why would Pac ask for a CW?
Catch-weights don’t have as much effect on a younger fighters or a fighter that’s already small for their respective weight division.
dlogan1616 1 week ago

Winky not Taylor, was the one to have a CW fight with Hopkins and of course, Oscar as well.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Hopkins is a whole different subject. Hopkins will never truly get the credit he deserves. Hopkins shouldn’t have even been fighting at 160lbs as long as he did! Cotto and Margarito can’t even put their Jock-straps in Hopkins briefcase! Hopkins was pretty much his own boss and he stipulated those catch-weights himself. Hopkins is Amazing!
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 5.) Everyone thought Leonard would beat Terri Norris. Norris-Leonard is the same scenario as Pacquiao-De La Hoya. Hatton looked worse after his loss to Floyd in his next two fights, plus Hatton was as tailor made for Pac as Frazier was tailor made for Foreman. Pac did not have any advantages over Clottey but that’s really not saying much; Clottey lost to Baldomir, albeit at an earlier time. Clottey didn't hit all that hard either.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Pac-Barrera I, was a huge win. I actually picked Pac to win that fight. I remember Max Kellerman saying Barrera would win. Yep, you’re right, a lot of people said Clottey was a live opponent. I remember explaining to my uncle why Pac would beat Clottey decidedly. As for Cotto, I was very unsure who’d win, but I remember being unhappy about the catch-weight stipulation. I felt Cotto had already been in 2 wars; why should a CW be required?
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now you are saying that Floyd had an upcoming fights w/Saul Alvarez & Sergio Martinez for MONEY & LEGACY, do you really think that Floyd will fight this guys in their weight.
As far i remember, Ellerbe was quoted in saying they don't believe in Catchweight thing but his Prize Fighter Floyd was in contrast saying that if SM can go down at 150, there will be a fight between them.
Was Floyd willing to surpass d FEAT that Pac had accomplished? we'll see that soon., maybe?
DROC1474 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now regarding d case of Margarito, he was used 2 fight in WW & ave. 147 b4 he face Pac. Why would it become disadvantage 2 Tony fighting Pac who came 144.5 on d scale on their CW fight? Why it became weight drained for Tony when the FACT & TRUTH that Tony was only 145.75 on his WW fight w/Mosley whom was considered the defining victory of Shane b4 he face Floyd?
U are correct Bradley was a dangerous solid opponent 4 Pac, this was d same remarks 2 Pac b4 he face his prev. opponents.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now if we turn the situation & put Floyd on Pac's shoe when DLH asked Pac to be his partner. Will he be willing to step to the plate w/c from SFW will rise to WW & fight DLH at the said weight?
Now if Pac called out the legit LW fighters in Rios, JMM, or even the likes of future prospect in Broner in SFW & Yuriorkis Gamboa in FW, will they rise to the same plate that Pac had done in fighting DLH at 147?
Will Floyd even face Sergio at his weight in MWD?
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 2.) Does Floyd need Pac more than Pac needs Floyd? Honestly I think Pac needs Floyd more! I think Pac needs Floyd more for Legacy and I think Pac needs Floyd more for money. Pac was so willing to walk away from Floyd because Pac thought he could get a rematch with Cotto; that’s my belief. I know all about $25mil guarantee (rumor) for Bradley but honestly, I seriously doubt Pac will get that.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for my legacy theory… Floyd was already an establish great and HOF before Pac beat Oscar or Hatton. The way I have seen some of Ali’s victories scrutinized along with other past boxers... It’s so much easier to scrutinize Pacquiao’s career. In my Opinion Pac needs Floyd to solidify his legacy b/c I don’t believe his catch-weight fights at WW will be enough. Sorry but I’m just being honest.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) As for the Money… well, Pac has kinda established that he’s unwilling to face fighters above 148. Pac can face Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz or maybe even Khan etc. but it wont fair close in a monetary comparison to Floyd facing Alvarez or Sergio Martinez (if Floyd gets past Cotto.)
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Pac can futurely face Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz, Khan, Berto or even JMM 4. You are correct , it may not hit the monetary figures that will be generated in fighting Floyd but Pac will fight this guys for LEGACY & would surely produce an EXCITING, EXPLOSIVE, NON STOP COMBUSTION Fights ahead to the outcome that will be generated in the HIT, DODGE or RUN tactic of Floyd in fighting Alvarez or Sergio.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 3.) As for all this endorsement and live gate talk… this is what I know; Pac made maybe, $27mil at most for his fight with JMM which was the most Pac had made to date. Floyd made $22mil guaranteed for Mosley and $25mil guaranteed for Ortiz. Pac pays Arum something like 37% of his earnings. Floyd doesn’t pay Arum 37% of his earnings. Floyd’s 1.4mil PPV buys for Mosley were the Official numbers. Pac-Mosley’s 1.3mil PPV is the Unofficial number.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 4.) I thought I already explained to you what a [site fee] is. Most big fights will take on [Bids] which pertain to a site fee. Several venues may bid on a fight because of the potential business (money) the fight can bring. This is why in most cases Las Vegas will outbid most venues. The whole thing about Arum bringing up the gate was a sham. Now days, more money is made in the site fee than the actual gate.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 5.) Do I think Floyd will get his $50mil guarantee elsewhere? Rumor has it, Floyd made over $40mil for Mosley & Ortiz. Floyd should make the same for Cotto! I think Floyd could possibly get a $50mil guarantee for Alvarez. I'm pretty sure Floyd can probably get $50mil guaranteed for Sergio. Mayweather-Martinez would have a killer story for promotion. I'm not saying Alvarez or Sergio would sell more PPV than Pac-Floyd but I think Floyd could get his $50mil in those 2 fights.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 6.) Pac will be getting his biggest guaranteed purse of $25 million in fighting Bradley? Again, I seriously doubt it; Pac wanted $25mil guaranteed for Pac-JMM IV; I doubt he’ll “actually” receive $25mil guaranteed for Bradley. My question, how do you give a guarantee to a fighter when they have to give you 37% percent of their earnings? How does that work? The Dilemma... Pac has a higher chance of losing to Bradley than Floyd does to Cotto.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 7.) How long have you been watching boxing for? Did you actually watch the Marquez-Katsidis fight? Do you know about everything that was behind the Katsidis fight; do you know what Katsidis was going through? I have reasons for thinking Marquez is on something and it's not a recent observation; it’s also not an arbitrary suspicion. As for EPO, etc. there are so many things out their now, that you can combine for different and or ultimate results.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) I already told you, Conte has his own agenda. Conte doesn’t want to be more hated than he already is, so he’s not going to say anything bad about Pac but when he says Floyd can possibly be on something b/c he came up from 130… Conte is just trying to send a message out to other fighters that if you let me (Victor Conte) into your camp, that somehow you’ll be more informed and more projected etc. That’s how Conte promotes himself.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) What effects are you talking about that Floyd is starting to show? Who knows whether Pac would’ve done better against the same Mitchell, Judah and or the same Baldomir, that Floyd faced… who knows? Pac didn’t face the same Oscar or Mosley Floyd faced. Foreman dominated all of Ali’s opponents and got KO’d by Ali. Yep, the rematch with Oscar didn’t happen in 08 b/c Floyd wanted a 50/50 split if that's what you're asking?
dlogan1616 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 8.) In 2007 Cotto was a TopRank fighter under Arum. (In 2007) Why would Floyd fight Cotto over Hatton or Oscar When Arum was only offering Floyd $7mil to fight Cotto? I think Floyd made something like $22mil for Hatton. So many Floyd detractors want to blame Floyd for not fighting Cotto or Margarito but they don’t know boxing. Margarito lost to PW in 07 and only got his shot at Cotto because Arum likes to keep all his fights in-house.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Paul Williams should have been the one facing Cotto in 08, not Margarito... but sadly, Margarito got that fight and nearly ended Cotto’s career (via Cheating). Let's be fair and ask why Cotto didn't fight PW? Why didn't Cotto give Mosley a rematch when he arguably lost to Mosley? Incidentally, Oscar ducked Margarito if you need a clearer definition for ducking? Furthermore, Margarito was KO’d by Mosley when Floyd was still retired.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 You keep asking ds WW fighters - why Cotto didn't have a rematch w/Mosley, why Cotto fight Marga & not PW, but d real question that need to raise is where is this Floyd on this time wherein he should be the one fighting this WW fighters?
Now when Pac enter d Div. Floyd would just criticize that Pac only fought in house fights w/Top Rank, i'll return d same remarks of him, when Floyd was in TR, why this fights never happened? Is it just really ARUM or partly w/him also?
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 1.) Floyd was retired during the time. How come the same question is never raised when Oscar took a similar hiatus from boxing? Within approximately 1yr Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley lost fights. Floyd couldn’t get a fight with Cotto because he was contracted with Arum. During the rematch negotiations for Floyd-Oscar II, Cotto was scheduled to fight Gomez in April. After Gomez, Cotto was immediately scheduled for Margarito in June 08.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Dude, sorry to quote your response here.. You keep on defending Floyd for not having fight the WW fIghters during his time for so many reasons & even comparing it to other great fighters out there for what like DLH did or this or that.
Now let's start w/Cotto after the Gatti fight, you confirmedly believe that again its Arum who stalled this fight or saying that Cotto was not yet ready that time for Floyd.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 This not yet ready sound ridiculous for me, first of all how can we say that Cotto was not ready wherein fact Cotto prof. started at LWW & during that time up to the Gatti fight, MC was 20/24 (83%) via knock out to his opponents compared to Floyd 2/3 (67%) via knock out after the Gatti fight. By just looking at this record, we will able to analyze who pose a greater threat to respective fighters, are you saying that MC was threatened after he sees what Floyd had did to Gatti?
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now, on that time, was Floyd did all the necessary things to secure that fight? As comparing to what he had did to Pac for almost three tries already, its seems that Floyd was just had a habit of calling out fighters.
Arum stalled this fight (Cotto vs. Floyd on 2005) for what reason?
Dude, both of them r under TR that time, both r undefeated & have huge fan base, Bob would surely get all d economical rewards since he managed both of them so are you saying Bob still stall ds fight.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now, haven't you see the pattern of Floyd lame excuses on not fighting this TR/non TR WW fighters, he is purposely pricing himself out of this fight like the case you mentioned in Cotto & Margarito for some time that was given for him to fight them.
Dude, the present showing of Floyd to Pac just manifested & confirmed his true intentions for dodging this fights. Now you will say, how about now Floyd was more willing to face Cotto? well its a diff. Cotto he should have face on 2008.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 I'll repeat it again, i don't discredit Floyd's victories from SFW up to LWW, the only thing that didn't escape on my attention are Floyd's reason for not fighting right away this legit WW fighters that would further solidify his greatness in this WW Div.
You see, he called out Mosley when he was still in SFW or LW, if that is really genuine, the moment Floyd step to that WW Div, he should have chased Mosley or even his 1st fight on that Div. Now he fight Mosley 5 yrs. after.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Dude, its pretty obvious Floyd was avoiding to fight this WW fighters who have a threat of knocking him out on the time this WW fighters was at their best.
Now you will said that Floyd defeat Mosley since that was his best performance for beating Marga but you are saying Marga was even not a great or even class c fighter in your assessment. How about Mosley defeat Marga at his lowest weight in his scale at WW at 145.75 & mentally distracted even b4 the fight start.
DROC1474 1 week ago

DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Now Floyd who boast the complete set of skills & even claimed Pac was an easy work was taking almost two years now for not making this FAIR fight for the biggest payday of his life.
If you r criticizing Pac walking away from d biggest payday of his life 4 d guaranteed $40 million that Floyd was offering (how sure are you that Arum don't have the 37% cut on this amt.), how about Floyd loosing d possibility of minimum $100 million on ds MEGA fight, seemed not a good bus. move 4 Floyd.
DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Floyd & Pac may have the same weight at 106 at age 16 but does not justify that they physically the same. Isn't it Floyd himself called Manny little fella? Floyd currently physically bigger than Manny at this point of their career. Have you seen Pac weighed 147 on the scale on his WW fights? His highest was 145.
Now if we apply what Pac had did (jumping from SFW to WW) to the present notable SFW fighters now, do U realistically think that they will fight this legit WW at 147 limit?
DROC1474 1 week ago

I’m a boxing fan; I watched both fights; I watch almost all the fights!
dlogan1616 1 week ago

Pac was almost KD by Marquez in their 2nd fight; so what!
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) It would be pointless for me to say Pac was KD by Mosley; technically it’s true, but it’s pointless to mention. Oscar looked Sloppy against Forbes at a 150lb CW. When Oscar faced Pac, he looked completely dehydrated in his fight with Pac; even Roach admitted this. Again; Leonard-Norris!! Mosley was older when he faced Pac and he looked bad in his last 2bouts. Mosley also suffered an achilles injury before his fight with Pac.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 4.) If Pac beats Bradley, let’s see if Pac can even become motivated by the likes of Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz, Khan, Berto etc. I wonder if the fans would be motivated by a JMM 4 fight? Run tactic of Floyd fighting Alvarez or Sergio; that’s funny. What was Pac doing against JMM in their 3rd fight, b/c it didn’t look very Explosive to me. The way Leonard beat Hagler is considered a boxing clinic but with Floyd it’s a run tactic? I can tell you don’t love the Sweet Science.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 5.) I think Floyd would possibly fight Alvarez at his natural weight but Floyd is very small; Floyd walks around at 150. I don’t know whether he will or whether he won’t face Martinez at 160 but if Martinez comes down to 155 or 150, it will be entirely Sergio’s choice. Leonard and Hagler met at a CW of 158 and Leonard has a bigger physique than Floyd. SRR and Armstrong faced bigger guys than Pac. On a championship level SRR began at 130 and faced opponents’ at 175.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 6.) Again I repeat! If there were no advantage why would Pac ask for a CW? Catch-weights don’t have as much effect on a young fighter or a fighter that’s already small for their respective weight division. Cotto was neither! There comes a point when a fighter is killing themselves to make the weight; this is why I gave you the example of Devon Alexander. Your 146.55 is pointless… e.g. I seriously doubt PW could have remained a WW through 2009.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 7.) Considering Floyd was calling Oscar out when he was at 135lbs; Possibly yes! How are you going to make an excuse for Pac fighting a smaller Oscar and the same time, Crown him for beating up on a worn down dehydrated Oscar? Even that idiot, Skip Bayless doesn’t give Pac much credit for Oscar. Floyd weighed 106lbs when he was 16yrs old also; your point? As for night of weigh-ins… Floyd is only bigger than Pac by 2lbs. I’ve never seen Floyd weigh more than 150lbs.
dlogan1616 1 week ago

DROC1474 1 week ago
@dlogan1616 Dude, there is no double standard in Pac can't fight Cotto at 150 comparing to Floyd fighting Cotto at 154. As ill say again Floyd was physically bigger than Manny at this point of time & that is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
Pac had fight Marga at 150, Pac maybe successful that time but his physical state paid that after that fight, he was confined to hospital days or even week aft that fight.
DROC1474 1 week ago
DROC1474 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 1.) Pac was 106 b/c he was only 16yrs old. If Floyd had started boxing pro at 16 he’d be 106. You shouldn't count the weight they had their first few fights at. You should count the weight they first began to face Ranked competition. Pac didn’t start facing ranked guys until 112lbs. Robinson was facing ranked guys at 130. Also don’t use the “night of “ weigh-in when using SRR as a gauge; Keep it at 154 b/c Pac didn’t fight for the middleweight title.
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; (Cont.) Henry Armstrong won the WW title only weighing 126lbs. He nearly defended the WW title for 2yrs while only weighing in at 126lbs. Also why do so many people find that it’s credible to defend Pac by saying he used to weigh 106? First of all he maybe fought 6 fights at 106 and more importantly, Did he weigh 106 the night he fought Margarito? Was Margarito even close to being as good as Oscar was at 154?
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 2.) You completely missed my point on the double standard. Floyd fights Marquez who’s basically the same size as Pac but Floyd detractors give Floyd no credit for that fight. How is Floyd scared to fight Pac when Floyd is fighting Cotto at 154 when Pac won’t even fight Cotto at 150? Nevermind! If you didn’t get it the first time it’s pointless to bring it up!
dlogan1616 1 week ago
@DROC1474; 3.) First off; did you watch the Judah-Baldomir fight? Have you watched Judah against Cory Spinks? Did you watch the Hatton fights after his loss to Floyd? I watched all those fights so it’s pointless to debate with someone if they haven't even seen those fights. The Hatton that fought Floyd looked like the same Hatton that beat Tyszu. Did you watch the Hatton-Lazcano fight? You honestly can say Judah looked the same for Baldomir as he looked for Floyd??
