  • Beautiful! I'm hoping to take classes this year for ceramic pottery, hopefully I will make an awesome job like you :)

  • very steady hands

  • That is beautiful! Do you trim the bottom of the pot?

  • dan,,,,I find myself staying up late and atching/studying your videos....really amaizing. You throw so quickly.... I have noticed that at some point in each peice you stop...and adjust your feet..with a clicking noise....are you slowing the wheel? Again...amaizing. Eric

  • these have become 1 of my biggest sellers. thank you dan,

  • @skyalchemist0 Does a 10% royalty seem fair ?

    LOL.......

  • @youdanxxx im 18 i dont do royalty hahaha =D

  • @youdanxxx

i think he doesn't know what a royalty is, probably he think it means being from a royal family...

  • Wow, great job!

  • Was wondering what type of clay? Like your videos very much

    thank-you

  • Man.. you make it look so easy.

  • I love your videos! Such good stuff!

  • How fast is your wheel going?

  • looking at the speed of the pulls, the wheel seems to be going pretty fast.

  • wow..so i thought ceramics would be fun..but its acutally alot harder than i thought..if my stuff turned out 10pct as good as yours id be pleased..centering seems to be my enemy

  • it takes time and determination. once you get good, the feeling of a finished piece coming out of the kiln is AMAZING! keep with it!

  • Ah, I get so nervous when a bowl is pulled like that! :D Mine always fall out into plates.

    Bravo!

  • dude! that totally looked like a flower! nice job!

Im kind of a beginner mind giving me some tips on centering the clay at the beginning? i can only get it like 1 out of every 5 bowls and when i get it centered, it turns out really well. thanks. and by the way that was great!

  • That was amazing!

  • came together like magic..never ceases to amaze me....

would love to have seen it fired and glazed!

  • Beautiful, Call it a lotus!!!

  • Awesome again! Quick question: What type of bat are you throwing on? I've never seen that before.

  • Thanks.

The bats are just home made out of some PVC type stuff with the holes drilled in to fit the pegs on the wheelhead,we got a load of sheets of the stuff a while ago and just cut them on a band saw and drilled holes in them..

You could make the same out of Perspex or similar, just drill holes to fit the pegs on your wheel head.

If you don't have any pegs you can drill your wheel head and screw some in yourself.

It's a lot easier than throwing and cutting off.

    Cheers.
