I love noel, and she is my main... But the news of what happend to her hasn't been good. But I have found more R-1 vids, so i haven't given up hope.

Yep. Gucci's noel is also pretty good. Honestly I like Gucci's noel a bit more because he CONTROLS himself. R-1 just seems to throw so much shit at the enemy and he sometimes ends up paying big time for it. But R-1 seems to have better combo execution than Gucci, who seems to end up getting punished because he misses 6B a lot.

na, i was expecting that, Its the 6A nerf that pissed me off. Slower, more prorate and wiffs on crouching. That and now Noel's air to air combos do less then Carl's air to air bnbs. And all her air normals are nerfed too. Its just a the little normal nerfs on damage, pro rate and speed on a character that wasn't great in the first place. I love the character, but they are taking away all her safe options and giving her nothing in return for no reason.

I know man. It makes no fucking sense. Like why is 2D no more an overhead? Arksys just makes no sense. It's not like Noel was overpowered in CT. She needed like a damage nerf and that was it.

2d sucks as an overhead anyway. Aside from no overhead, it actually got better. It's faster, better hitbox, crosses up more, and much easier to combo (and you can do a good combo on a standing opponent!!!). So that I'll let slide.

And on my side note, its still retarded that you can't get a good combo off a safe low on a standing opponent with noel.

I know, but I liked using it after conditioning my opponents to block low. Noel needs a good overhead. 6B is slow as shit, and D6B (i think?) needs drive. As for comboing of lows, 2B combos into 6A, so I guess there's a possibility there. I just haven't seen anyone use it yet.
