ive got an old 1.3 ge model saloon (1991) in white. bought three years ago 50,000 on the clock, cost £100, still going strong. Sure they look cheap and dated, but for simple A to B they cant be faulted. Prior to this one, i also owned another one i had for five years, and it also never missed a beat. thats down to the mitsibushi engines in them. They are also easy to maintain compared to all this modern rubbish. Diagnostics and all that!!

The hatchback Proton was quite popular in the early 90's in the UK. I drove one there years ago when I was a student. Bought a second hand cheap one and went all over the UK during university holidays. Value for money and trouble free driving.

Proton should step up their game... Few years ago, proton is well ahead of Korean and Chinese cars. Now, Korean cars are with the big boys like Toyota and Honda and GM... I wouldn't surprised if Chinese cars overtake Proton in the next few years if Proton continue to be like this

awal2 lagi dah ada problem dgn krta 2... cuba perhatikan dalam video, yang paling nyata sekali, masa dia drive 2, perhatikan steering tak cun, so maksudnya eligment problem/tak cun. lepas 2 dalam model sedan pulak, air bertakung dalam boot belakang... jgn slhkan org lain yang mengatakan malaysian car = low quality...
