In Ring 0 ..from what i remember reading. This Sadoko isn't the original, she was reborn. Sadoko in this movie who is alive becomes posessed but the original's spirit. Samara is the US version of Sadoko. For more accurate info read the sypnosis on wikipedia.

The thing is that there actually was kind of like two sadakos :D The good and the evil one..The evil one was killed by her father and the good one(the teenager) was killed by a group of people who beat her to death.. It's so hard to actually explain the whole thing, especially when English is not my mother language :D You really have to see the movie to understand. And I recommend it! :)
