  • "Their failed album "Back from Hell" ".

    Whatever.....

  • No shit, the hard pounding album. The beat on this track are so fuckin' sick!

  • Its fucking sad they have not yet found JMJ KILLERS

  • This Song Is Just Awesome

    R.I.P. JMJ

  • ...PS DMC was the king of the echo chamber

  • DMC was a beast on the MIC.

  • Is'nt this all about cashing in on NWA popularity?

  • Run Dmc sampled this track from Fred Wesley and the JB's "Same Beat"!

  • I think i know who killed jam master jay? one of the members of the "The Supreme Team" by Kenneth Supreme McGriff.

  • DMC wrecked it, like on some all time greats shit. Too bad that his voice got all fucked up, soundin like he's about to cry all the time. That's messed up.

  • Fuckin idiot, Back from hell did not bomb...stupid assfuck.

  • Back from hell was a very good album Run Dmc cursed in concert but really did not do it until this album that's why people thought that they were tryin to be gangster,Nwa took their swag trying to dress like run dmc. For all those none believers check out what's it all about ,p upon a tree, faces, pause and other songs off of the album.Matter of fact pause the single sold 300,000 copies as a single and that was more than rap albums at the time. DOWN WITH KING SINGLE AND ALBUM BOTH SOLD 500,000.

  • Yeah, the video description is wrong about saying Back From Hell was a fail. The only Run DMC album that bombed was Crown Royal.

  • Its bull shit they can't find jam master jay killers, rest in peace jay

  • Jam master Jay was dope with the music.

  • One of my Faves from the Trio. showing a different side.

  • The beat was a punch in the face and awesome! I actually liked it alot. But lyrics really did not get attention. Were they gangsta? I'm sure they still get a pass for trying different things.

  • These cats were real gangsters not on the loosely used slang term like these kids use today, these cats didnt have to act they just had that ol' head swagger! Check out the Reverend

  • the album failed because there were alot and i mean ALOT more rappers out at the time and they just lost their relevance, there later albums were good i liked them

  • it's 'failed' because it wasn't the style they used.. they acted gangster because they were losing fans, and at the time when this came out, the style was all 'gangster'.. notice they went back to their original style in down with the king.

  • and " down with the king " was the only track of the album that they sold.

  • You don't get classics like these anymore.

  • Failed album? Where the fuck are you getting your info? Back From Hell is one of their best albums and this was the SECOND successful single from the album. How is that a failure?

  • the album failed 2 go platinum neither gold cause they changed from partying to street talk...now they say words like shit motherfucker u know.......

  • oh...so in other words it's a failure in some bullshit critic or billboard definition. this is a successful hip hop album - successful in the definition of touching the hearts of millions of street people. thats what hip hop is about and im pretty sure thats what they were going for.

  • well yea dats true.......but the album "down with the king" yea it got gold cause they did it hard and they have pete rock, cl smooth, naughty by nature in it...

  • Dude, this album was a failure. Outside of this song, I don't recall anything from this album being liked or even talked about. Run-DMC were the definition of cold after this album dropped. That's why when they came back out with the next album, it was seen as a comeback, because this one did so poorly and was seen as the end of them.

  • The Album initially was not a success, when this song came out, because of the drastic "Gangsta Rap" sound, however, "Pause" was a chart topper not just on the Rap/R&B charts, but on the pop charts as well. Thanks to repeated play on MTV. The Album did go Platinum, but it took a while. Personally, I liked the album. Raising Hell is still their best work ever.
