Can you adjust the speeds of the door? Because we have some international buses at our school district (2003's+2004's, 2006+2007, 2009+2010), and they all seem to close the same way...
Depends on what bus and what kind of specs you want to throw on it. I'll tell you this, the last buses we got, two 2011 Thomas EFs, costed 128,745 thousand.. each.
thats how my drivers 06 CE-300 air door is except i dont think something is set right because ours opens and closes than this bus but not as slow as the air door on the C2 we used to have which in my opinion was the worst bus i had ever rode
yes i do mean the air pressure right before we switched to the IC the mechanics finally fixed the door on the C2 to make open and close very fast the air pressure wasnt set right on it either the C2 i used to ride was a bad bus third day we had it we were at a stop light and it stalled and would not start
That really sucks. I know our C2s had some problems with the doors, too. Like they wouldn't respond or function properly. Then the stop signs, dual, wouldn't open but they would flash.
I rode on a C2 last year up in town for the school's play, we were over loaded on that bus.. but she floored it and got nothing for a minute or two, then it slowly inched on.
I like to set the door to shut so it doesnt have that "lag" spot. Nice n smooth lol

I agree with you. I love them so they are constantly moving and don't pause. Ms. Shirley had my CE set like that.

Yes you can. There's a box with two screws above the door and in that box you can control the door's pressure.
That may be because of the stock setting on them.

So what do you mean something isn't set right? Like the air pressure is set to low or something?
Now, those C2s can be bad.. we've had our share of problems with them, but they are decent.
