  • hello

u make nicely bhajipav today i make that first time lets see my husband like that or not...:)

  • Best thing in your recipes is that you use stuff already available at home and you don't use "secrete" masala packages...Ugh, it's really annoying to get these...

    Thanks...

  • Hello Aunty,I've been following all your receipes from a long time and love your style of cooking.Neat and tasty. Thanks for this. You remind me of my Mom...

  • Looks delicious. Will try this soon.. Thank you auntyji.

  • Don't you use onions in pav bhaji? Don't you add pav bhaji masala to it?

  • I love pav bhaji. How about some hing, will it give this a nice flavor?

  • "Finally" chopped green chillies...........LOL

  • hello Aunt , you're just absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for all your recipes. They all are my favorites. Your videos are very helpful. God bless you :)

  • Just made this. Quick , easy, healthy and delicious!!! A great way to get more vegetables into your family! He-hee! :-D

One question, please: I rarely see you use garlic in your recipes, Manjula. I thought that garlic was an important part of most Indian dishes, so is there a reason you don't use very much - if any?

"Who needs meat when you have Manjula's Kitchen?"

  • @Marpopenden

Garlic is NOT an important part of most Indian dishes. There are many many sub-cuisines in India plus family lineages where NO garlic is ever used in the home. Some of these may use some onions only, these days.

  • Manjulaji, bahut hi badiya....mooh mein pani aagaya :)

I noted down the receipe and i will try.....Thank you again.

  • hi, thaks, manjula u are so good i love it!!!!!

  • nice 1! but onions r missing...its nothing widout onions...thank u

  • Nice recipe... but there's no pav bhaji without bell pepper and onions. Boil bell pepper with the rest of the veggies, and fry chopped onion in the oil and then add tomatoes and the rest of the stuff.

  • This looks wonderful thank you for sharing.

  • Thank you so much . I like all of your recipe's i like all of them . when ever i want to try something new i first hit your site . Thanks for sharing .

  • namaste Manjula!...thank you very much for your video.....it is really helpful and very easy to cook pav bhaji....

PS I am a Moldavian girl and I am a big fan of India

Thank you again for inspiring me cooking this taste food

  • I don't think people add garam masala in pav bhaji.

  • she said grinded fennel seed

  • what's the name of the grinded spice u mentioned? could not get it. grinded cumin/jeera? pls update. thx

  • I tried a co-worker's pav bhaji for the first time last week and fell in love. It was delicious and I asked him to bring in more. Now I feel like making it for myself. Thank you.

  • thnx a lot aunty....i teach my mom cooking now!

    :p

im just 16yrs old, i cook pretty well

i dont eat much junk food outside now....

  • thank you. with all the expertise flowing, i am sure your paav bhaji stands out!!!

thank you once again and god bless. :D

  • my fav dish is pav bhaji and i would love to eat it everyday if i could :)

  • Manjula Aunty... It was nice and tasty Bhaji...

Please keep, Inspire all the ppl to cook...thanks Anuty..

  • i have NEVER seen REAL pav bhaji with no onion's!!!!!!

  • why does the bhaji look so pasty?

  • namaste! Thank you so much for these videos

  • I had great success with this dish after watching this video. Thanks Auntie Majula.

Can you please make a video showing how to prepare Mysore Pak properly? It would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can we add onions also to make it more tastier

  • Mmmm, looks very tasty!!! Thanks Manjula

  • this is okay bt bt paav bhaji can never ever be cooked without onions as onions r the basic thing 4 bhaaji as well as got garnish alongwith lemon wedge

  • i agree, i make my pav bhaji with onions, butter, red bell peppers, potatos, peas and cauliflower, and i leave a lil more texture to it, not as pasty

  • Many people who practice an ayurvedic diet don't eat onions or garlic. I'd say that's why Manjula rarely uses them.

  • Thanks Manjula, always a pleasure!!

  • Im Korean!! I love your cook!! I always wait for your new recipe!!!

  • Thanks to you for the clean saatvic nature of your food. Only chef in the world who offers this.

  • A++ You make vegetarianism exciting. Thank You

  • i cud not agree more!! i luv manjulaji! she cooks with so much love n homeliness unlike some of the cooking shows (which tho nice, look quite fake)! thank u auntyji!

  • this looks soooo good!

  • how do you eat this? do you make a patty out of the vegetables and eat it like a hambuger or do you break apart the bread and use the vegetables as a dip? greetings from Kansas

  • Both ways are fine. There are so many ways you can do it. You could also fill it in a warm tortilla or pita bread and eat it as a wrap.

  • the best way is to break the bun into a piece that will fit in your mouth and then pinch a bunch of bhaji with the bread...then eat! YUmmmmm! I know some people who take half the bun and slather a half inch thick layer of bhaji on the bun and then they just eat it...just like eating half a bagel with cream cheese on it! :)

  • looks yummy

  • I believe Manjula is Jain, she doesn't use onion or garlic.

  • On her webstie she wrote: "This is a personal preference; I was raised in a family that did not eat onion and garlic. This was a common practice for hindu and jain families."

  • maybe she personally doesn't eat onion and garlic but used it for the video because most people do eat them? ;)

  • she is gujarati jain,,, so jain ppl dont eat garlic and onion ,, thats why she didnt put onion,,,,, i can not eat pav bhaji without onion or garlic ,,,, and she forget or i dont know but i think she should add pav-bhaji masala also ,,, i always add it,,,,,,, otherthen she is good when it comes to cooking

  • You Rock Manjula!!

  • lol, aunty you clean so neatly... whenever I cook, the kitchen's a big mess :O

  • I did not have to drain the water

  • i love putting my bhagi in my pav and eating like sandwhich -Dhara

    P.S I am indian

  • @Manjulaskitchen Manjula why dont you add onions and garlic in your food? In Pav Bhaji Onion is must.
