  • I have quadcore.

  • meh my gtx 480 owns all your cpus

  • Yeah my AMD Hexacore BE OCed stable at 4.2G maxes out at 49c and it cost half of your i7.

  • @PObserver

But doesn't an OCed i7 beat that chip like a professional boxer fighting with a newborn kitten?

  • Nothing too impressive. I dedicated one core of my i7 920 and it runs two researches at the same time, whilst still managing the same speed as your dual core...

  • My Intel Q6600 @ 3GHz (4 cores) pwns your AMD dual core system!

  • try running it on an i-940 :D

    yeah... u heard me.

    CORE i7

when i ran the program on an i-940 quad core it has hyper threading so.... 8 sessions at once :D

If anyone can beat that, please say so :)

  • I cant beat that, but I can beat you.

  • uhm prolly a d5400xs running two QX9775 Dual core processors with 12gb ram... which means True 8 core... you have 4 cores. oh and 2xRadeon HD 5775 running crossfire. oh and over clocked two 4.0ghz.. oh and this system is for sell if anyone is interested

  • i heve serched more and more for credit

    and i found credit depend

1 hardware 2 time of work

so can be variable depend also BOINC settings.

  • how do you run 2 of them. didnt know you could ??

  • YES if you have a multi core processor

    you can run in multi-session

    so dual core 2 session

    quad core 4 session

  • I got a fast Dual Core (2.8ghz X2) It runs like a dream i have also got two servers with quad cores for an online game server. i tried SETI@home on one and it completed it in like 20 minutes¬

  • Geat!!! but lok my other video and test the new

Astropulse is very heavy to run

and continue to search other planet life !!!

  • thats pretty cool, my desktop runs on a 2.4 celeron and 1gb ddr ram and takes just under 4 hours per sngle work unit, my laptop runs a 1.8 celeron and 1gb ddr2 ram and takes around 5 hours per work unit...hope your system coolings up to scratch....

  • How would a quad core AMD go then?

  • probabally for 15 minutes then overheat like AMD is known for.

  • @Peonygreenleaf

    Heatsink...or... Watercooling... No problem, ever
