The "Onboard" part of this reminds me of when I was 8 or 9 years old and I had to ride in the rearward-facing third seat of my Dad's station wagon. Now please turn the friggin' camera around !!!!
That sound should be the fuel pump priming the lines not the fuel injectors. You can hear the same thing on cars and that is the fuel pump. The only reason I say should is because my education is on cars not bikes.
nice job, I lost count of how many cars/vans you pasted. I've been seriously thinking about getting this bike and your video only confirms that I will be ordering one soon. Beautiful countryside ride on a classic (looking at least) bike.
beautiful bike,i'll get one,....it's a shame really that there are only that few really good looking classic nakedbikes around at the moment, and i mean eurpean bikes,....
That smoke isn't from oil. Oil smoke is blue. He hit the rev limiter causingt the spark to get interrupted causing excess gas, thus leading to the black smoke out the exhaust.
ALL BIKES are fun! Especially to someone who'd enjoy riding anything. So why even bother to say a bike is "fun?" Since all motorcycles are fun, it is saying more or less nothing.

Clueless Amateurs Hypnotized by Triumph Hype. Phony Thailand Bike, a Honda (Sheep) in Wolf's (Thruxton) clothing. Only a Poseur would buy this bike. It is 100% unauthentic. Triumph's Retro Bikes are silly, laughable. Yes, I know -- as my mother would say, Triumph is laughing all the way to the bank. I guess there is one born every minute.
my bike had a screeching clutch -- some quality control! -- fork lock was rubbish -- so was center stand. Sounded like a sewing machine. Triumph is Hype-Machine. Guzzis are 20 times better.
Well, it sure would be nice if you had assembled the clutch on my bike properly. And it sure would be nice if Triumph had the courage to put "Made In Thailand" on their bikes, instead of saying "Triumph -- Great Britain" and misleading buyers into thinking the bikes are made in England.
And if it,s any help the silencers are triumph TOR and the side panels are stock extras, otherwise the bike is standard. The seat is the stock Thruxton seat with the cowl removed.
I think that's the TOR (triumph off road) exhaust though I'd like a complete list of the add-ons. The seat is also a triumph add on, and there's a chrome side cover.
That's the bike I'm hoping to order tomorrow, and I'm making a lit of what I need to add to it. Day one - new exhaust.
nice to see someone really riding, too many youtube vids of these idling! thruxton's a lot faster than i thought it would be! hope to have one in my garage one of these days :)
what map did you use for the exhaust?

What a beauty!
The bike was built in Thailand! OK welcome to global economy, if it where built in England it will be made by immigrants anyhow!
The dissing and engineering is what is count at the end of the day.
And for those that pay for a built in Italy, USA, England and whatever you think, everything is coming from China. Welcome to the Global Market!

It's a fun bike. Who cares if it's made in Thailand. This guy's having a blast and that's all that matters. Get over yourself and go for a ride.

I bought one, drove it, sold it. I care where it's built. It affects the quality. Why not buy a Kymco scooter and save yourself some money?

But, nevertheless, the bikes are graet and the wheels are solid. And the handling is easy. Im feeling always secure on my Thruxton.

solid wheels! WOW! That's what I look for in a motorcycle. Not character, not soul, not quality -- solidity of the wheels! Gosh!

Don't sweat it ssalemi, if your Triumph was made in England, chances are it would be built by Pakis, Indians, West Indians and Nigerians.
