  • I only play 1st or 2nd edition, I'm playing in a 2nd ed campaign at the moment...3rd and 4th ed do nothing at all for me.

  • #rd edition was player friendly and intuitive! High rolls or values good, low rolls, values bad. It was just what I wanted. 4th Ed not so much. Of course by the 5 or 6th "Bozo" book 3rd ed was ruined, 4th ed they are going the same way.

  • I agree withe CondorDM to a point. 2nd Edition were for gamers that were actually good readers and intelligent. You had to be a pretty serious DND'r to play 2nd Ed(its actually the essence edition of DnD/it captured what DnD was/is supposed to be). 3rd ed and on are for the more simple minded(lazy-attention defict folks). Those that didn't really want to read looked at a 3rd and on for a HUGE number of charts and simplistic rules that doesn't require a lot of thinking and reasoning.

  • Moron, only few played 2ed, cause second was for quality players, 3rd just helps the majority which are shitty players to achieve playing the game without having people see how much they suck ass.
