@sushirocks2 yes, cold winter. you can never predict snow in new york, but it will certainly be cold. not hgher than 40 and probably in all likelihood much colder.

@GHS42 On 5th Avenue since the traffic is only one way and there are only a few cross streets into the park you can easily blow through almost all of the red lights. It's one of the great things of riding down that route.

Wow....the roads looked pretty clear.

Where I was, the temps were in the lower 20s that day with blizzard conditions, and upwards of 3' of snow on the ground, and of course snow-covered roads in conditions nearly impossible to drive in.

I am talking about central MD, near Baltimore.
