  • it lacks feeling and emotion....I hardly heard any dynamic contrast in it...you should have taken it a bit slower and maybe it would have helped. And when you mess up, keep going, dont stop, you dont want to let the audience know that you messed up. You did a pretty good job but just work on those things and it will help you out :]

  • i for one hate this piece because the entire thing is so awkward i don't think she is a very good composer you got over that awkwardness and played the piece down but the ignorance of her writing just bugs me to no end the shaft part was not needed :((

  • Dude, you just have to feel it!!! I mean, you did a good job learning the piece. The only thing thats missing is the feeling! Like taking it slower on the independant rolling part, using retards, crescendo's and decrescendo's effectively etc. etc....but overall...it was cool.

  • Im gonna play this song for the SCPEF marimba comp. and the piece is really cool. im glad that this piece is up here for me to study and get a good understanding for what the piece is like.

    :D

  • i just ordered this piece. its sounds really cool, and u did a great job with it. im glad this video is on here.

  • Haha.... well....I definitely messed up like 5 times because i was ridiculously nervous. I don't do well performing solo in front of a bunch of people. But i do like the piece, even though it wasn't a huge challenge. : )

  • dude...you were awesome! Totally deserved that standing ovation.

  • Christopher you were outstanding!!! Love you,

    Aunt Sue
