Personally, I'm grateful to whoever thought about brining the Chivas name to MLS because 1)They created the first intercity rivalry or 'derby' with the Galaxy. 2)They're one of the best teams in the west and 3)They've produced some good names in their club- Razov, Klestjan, Guzan, Galindo, and the list goes on.
And why was FC Dallas chosen as one of the 4. They were the only MLS club chosen which has never won an MLS Cup or Supporter's Sheild and never played in the CONCACAF. DC's won CONCACAF and Interliga, LA's won CONCACAF and Houston's at least been there. Strange choice of teams. Hell they should have invited Chivas USA so we could then have Chivas vs Chivas.

Dallas FC should've won because Chivas scored on a handball. They got lucky because if Bravo was there it would be the opposite.
