  • That thing is huge! What kind of horsepower output does it have?

  • Sorry to be so slow in answering.....This 6 cylinder version of the Big Four 30 was rated at 45 drawbar horsepower, or exactly 50% more than its 4 cylinder counterpart.

  • I forgot to mention......MOST tractors of the time stated the belt horsepower at twice the drawbar rating so this one COULD be expressed as a 45-90.

  • was the flat belt used to help start the emerson

  • Yes it was. I hand cranked that tractor once. It was no fun at all.......it started on the first compression......NO LIE!

  • only once? why not twice for fun. just kidding all my engines i have i spin through the compression with the flywheels. i only have one that i will use the cranks on.
