I'm always a Male Shepard... and I'm not sure if Kaidan lived... but I really hope I Killed Ashley now. I love all the squad members... EXCEPT ashley.
I'm glad I listened to this. I really disliked how he came off in the vanilla message, but hearing him actually emote like this makes all the difference in the world.
That said, he's going to have to win my Shepard back the hard way. She stayed loyal, but she'll be damned if she let's him back in without a proper apology.
I'm now replaying ME1 and I can't choose between Liara or Kaiden. The chosen one will be forever interest, without cheating on him in ME2, and hoping for reunion in ME3 (or even in Shadow Broker DLC of it's Liara)

Somehow, the email without audio came off as being totally self-centered and douchebag-y, but having the audio makes it less so. Probably, first off, because it's in Sbarge's voice and he has magical powers that way, and second because he sounds a lot less defensive and more like he's confused/grieving to the point of barely holding it together.
Oh... now I feel like a monster for moving on to Garrus. If Mr. Sbarge and the writing team put half of this much emotion into the ME3 Reunion, I'm going to have to be cringing in my seat with guilt.

I played male Shep and was pissed off that I couldn't romance Kaiden. I stayed celibate in ME and ME2 so he better be avilable in ME3. It's only him or Joker for me, I accept no substitutes.
When I played with Male Shepard in ME2, I cheated on Ashley by romancing Miranda. But when I played FemShep, I stayed faithful to Kaiden... He simply is better man than anyone in ME series..
@Ssavaralyn Ooh can't wait :3. But yeah after hearing this I'm gonna do another playthrough in ME2 staying faithful to Kaiden. I wanna see how it plays out in 3.
@InsecureLemon Same here, but take into account that he probably hasn't uttered those words since '06-'07 (depends on when they did the voice recordings).
Freaken awesome. My shepard had a romance with Kaidan and this was great to hear. Whats not going to be great is I get the feeling in Mass Effect 3 Im going to have to pick Kaidan or Garrus and its not going to be good lol.
