what a shame i really doub this is real mdj, that xiaotan did the same throws all over the fight and mdj couldnt memorize any of them, thats so bad, or i guess mdj was so angry or tyred, cant belive loosing this way.
I was wondering if this Xiao was considered good or not by T6BR standards. I've been out the Tekken scene for a while. Who are the good Xiao players these days? Does Xiaolove from Korea still compete?
MDJ was displaying a little anger with the unsportsmanlike overkill. Xiaoyu can be frustrating to deal with.
To be honest, aside from MDJs focus on school now, his skills have shown a clear decline since people are so familiar with him using Hwoarang. For someone so well known to continue their reign is quite difficult. Good thing Tekken adds new moves within every installment, he obviously needs more practice.
Also at 2:35 are you fucking serious Ling player? A simple B+1 would have stopped that poke mixup, but he ate it like 4 times and then risked parrying low after, if MDJ switched it up that would have given him a launcher into the wall and end the game. Ling has a tip range 6 frame mid and this ling didnt even use it... omg
That's where Xiaotan's mind games comes in, and I really don't think it would have made much difference for MDJ as Xiaotan seems to have had him mentally defeated in this game, if I recall he was busy with school and stuff so it's understandable, not to take anything from Xiaotan.
alexqd3 - you say this xiaoyu is not good, i think it is pretty decent at least. You got vids of your xiaoyu which show your 'good' level skill? And yes your T5 combo video was certainly inventive but combo videos does not equal gameplay skill.
Sorry but that Ling was not good at all. Only casuals would disagree sorry. And MDJ is sucks at breaking grabs I see.... Ling was very very basic, and didn't switch up much if at all, yet MDJ did not adapt. MDJ is still not himself yet. Because in the past he would have never lost to this.
I have, and my opinion still stands. MDJ is a legend and he is very very good. But he is no where close to the way he was. In t5 era this garbage ling wouldn't have even touched him. I know because me and my friends used to watch all his vids in awe, and disbelief of his flawlessness. Stop being a fanboy, lying to him wont make him better.
Well you obviously haven't seen his new videos, and what don't u understand about him being in the army and this was the first time he was playing T6??????????????
What part of he is still good but not AS good as T6 days dont your fanboy ass understand. We all know why he isnt as good idiot! Everyone knows he went to the army. The fact still stands he isnt as good now as he was back then. Fucking read! And i have seen his latest vid at 09 Evo where he placed 2nd. And my opinion still stands, and most will agree who is a complete scrub fanboy like yourself.
once again namco has done a wonderful job.....wish capcom would have some vision for sf4 in yrs the characters have had the same moves how fucking stupid.
nah,didn't like the xiao player. he/she knew how to play xia,im not gonna lie but i just think he/she played like a big dick during the 2nd and 3rd fight. it just made a supposedly interesting fight (due to mdj actually losing) less interesting and enjoyable especially when mdj decided to not use his card and go mdj. hope the next part is better.
currently, ling is my char. on tekken 6 and i do get some decent wins but this player is good(for me at least).
guess i still don't have that "tekken instinct".
i really don't use pheonix a lot but now i know that you could use it for quick counters and launches,,,, sigh.. could someone pls. tech me how to play a real xiaoyu??
Yeah, MDJ was an awesome Hwoarang player in T4 and T5 but he is being TOO predictable and repetitive in T6. I guess he is not that serious and enthusiastic as before. Tekken 6:BR might be able to bring his interest and legacy back but I guess his era is probably over like many other legendary players.
You have a very good point. Interest fades, especially when it comes to video games. Also the jump from T5 to T6, with the B! system and all, is a pretty big jump. I know a lot of people just decided it wasn't worth relearning and so either quit playing or just used T5 playstyle.
@MechaJubeiT6 you call xiaotan a mediocre player? he's like one of the best xiaoyu player that ive ever seen... have you read the description? the two are legendary... you sound like you know better on handling xiaoyu... which i doubt...
An absolutely wonderful example of how a good Xiaoyu player can overwhelm and destroy some of the best heavy hitter in the game. Let's go Fortune Cookie!
Xiaotan=the best Xiaoyu player
Maddowgjin=the best Hwoarang player

I think that because he just got back from the military, he still needs to warm up before he gets the level he was at before.. Just a thought

I am not a fanboy, I just respect the man. It seems you don't understand.
1. This is just a game.
2. MDJ SAID he isn't as focused as he was in t4,t5
3. You talk alot of shit, and just put your "opinion" out there, whereas I use facts.
You seem like the fanboy, looking for the only video MDJ doesn't do good, and typing your BS.

Wow, another vid of Korea's "legendary" player getting pwnd by a mediocre Ling player. What happened to Korean players?! (0_o)p
That Ling player needs to vary the B! followups, especially wall carries.
