Cool video! I travelled in Aus for a year. I never knew most of these! I bought a set of Lightforce off-road lights, and was surprised to find that they were made in Australia! They're simple but, cleverly designed, and basically indestructable (see the YouTube video). Australia is a great country filled with great ideas.

Cool. Does anyone know an Australian innovaation that is less than 5 years old? i need to write a report about one. I've found the EPOC by Emotive Systems but i don't think there is enough information about it.

One innovation I know about that's pretty revolutionary is the Thompson coupling - there are videos on youtube and lots of info on the cvcoupling website. Good luck with your report!
