If they make another sequel, I hope it's a decent series, not as macross 7 or macross frontier . The Japanese studios have the ability to make great animation, just lack focus more on the content of the stories, this is the essentials of the stories, even more than the animation.
Just thinking about doing another series focus only in the commercial is a big mistake. Argument is the key.
A movie of what happen to the 1st Macross fleet would nice. What happen to the people from Macross zero. I think that the first fleet was wiped out by the vega my be but a movie would be good.

I've got a feeling that the next series/movie/ova will just be like 10-15 years in the future from Macross Frontier, all new cast etc.
