Max tells Don Eladio that he is a trained bio-chemist at the pool meeting before he is shot by Victor. Che Guevara traveled with Alberto Granado on a motorcycle tour through SA, Granado was working as a bio-chemist before the trip. Could the Gus vs Victor feud have much deeper roots than what is portrayed on the show, could Che have killed someone close to Victor and Victor was hitting back at his old enemy by killing Gus's friend?
Gus Fring, Gus "F-Ring" as the planet Saturn's f-ring?, a ring that is kept in position by two "shepherding moons" one on the inside and one on the outside, inside and outside the law??
Could Gus be a son of Che Guevara? Would that be the reason the Cartel could not kill him? The dates Guevara was in Chile seem to match up with Gus's age. The Pinochet theory is kind of thin, if Gus was with Pinochet it seems they would want to kill him more.

Well, it's only a prediction but I believe Marie's shoplifting habits will play some kind of crucial part in season 5. I don't know how, but there's no unnecessary story lines in the show.

I love how Gus is staring at Hector's smiling face and he just knew what's going on, but he couldn't believe it! And then how he jumps up with scream, when he accepts the truth that someone GOT him is just awesome. Not the mention the propably one of the craziest, most badassed ways to die on a screen, yet somehow believable.

This show actually reminds me a lot of a another show in my home country. It's called "Helppo Elämä" (Easy Life). It's about this guy, who's family is heavily in dept because of bad decisions he made during an economic recession. And so he supports his family by getting involved with organized crime. The character of Gus was so smart, calculating and cautious to protect himself and his business. The only thing that could be used to kill him was manipulating his own deep, long-standing hatred toward Hector. Brilliant.

Gus's anger,pride and arrogance is what got him killed. He was so angry with Hector for going to the D.E.A. that he didn't take time to really think about things. He was so bent on getting his revenge on Hector, ( which he already got by killing all of Hectors family ). However, Gus couldn't just let Tyrus take care of it himself,. It never dawned on Gus this time ( like it did at the hospital ) that Walt was behind this as well. Gus's need for revenge is what got him killed.

Great scene, and I was happy for Walt, but I'm still kind of disappointed that Gus bit the dust. I feel a little bit sorry for him, since originally he really didn't want to work with Walter or his "junky" partner in the first place. He took a chance working with them, and it turned out to be a huge mistake on his part. Plus, he was really nice to his fast-food employees.
Haha yeah. I agree I was a bit sad to see Gus go, he was a very interesting and all around cool character. The actor who played him (I don't know his name) pulled off the dual nature of his character masterfully. On the outside, he is a completely straight-edge, pleasent, law abiding guy. Yet on the inside he is a ruthless gangster that doesn't have any respect for human life
I love that Gus's cool facade was finally broken, and even if the only people to see it are in pieces, he still wants to regain some composure before death.

really started to suspect that breaking bad was the show they made. I'm most likely wrong, because the producers don't mention anything of a kind. It just got me thinking. No offence. Don't mean to imply that americans can't make good tv on their own . They can (The Wire, The Sopranos etc.) By the way, TWO-FACE!!!

This show actually reminds me a lot of a another show in my home country. It's called "Helppo Elämä" (Easy Life). It's about this guy, who's family is heavily in dept because of bad decisions he made during an economic recession. And so he supports his family by getting involved with organized crime. It's very similar in storytelling and the dark humour. Infact, I read from newspaper once that the show attracted so much attention that americans wanted to make their own version. And at point I

The character of Gus was so smart, calculating and cautious to protect himself and his business. The only thing that could be used to kill him was manipulating his own deep, long-standing hatred toward Hector. Brilliant.

Gus's anger,pride and arrogance is what got him killed. He was so angry with Hector for going to the D.E.A. that he didn't take time to really think about things. He was so bent on getting his revenge on Hector, ( which he already got by killing all of Hectors family ). However, Gus couldn't just let Tyrus take care of it himself,. It never dawned on Gus this time ( like it did at the hospital ) that Walt was behind this as well. Gus's need for revenge is what got him killed.

Great scene, and I was happy for Walt, but I'm still kind of disappointed that Gus bit the dust. I feel a little bit sorry for him, since originally he really didn't want to work with Walter or his "junky" partner in the first place. He took a chance working with them, and it turned out to be a huge mistake on his part. Plus, he was really nice to his fast-food employees.

Haha yeah. I agree I was a bit sad to see Gus go, he was a very interesting and all around cool character. The actor who played him (I don't know his name) pulled off the dual nature of his character masterfully. On the outside, he is a completely straight-edge, pleasent, law abiding guy. Yet on the inside he is a ruthless gangster that doesn't have any respect for human life
